onI came into Colonial Toyota in Milford a little over a week ago looking to purchase a used vehicle. I was assisted by Anthony Mao, who was very friendly and attentive to my needs. There were a few hiccups along the way but overall I feel like Mr. Mao really went above and beyond to iron things out as well as insure my satisfaction as a customer. I would definitely recommend this dealership and especially would recommend Anthony Mao for sure. Thank you for helping me get into my 2011 Subaru Forester.

onThis dealership was probably the easiest and most effiecent place I have been too. All the staff were helpful and I was able to purchase my car without any hassle. I came in knowing what I wanted and the staff went well beyond the standard of service to make me satisfied. Frank Pratts and Steve Purcell were the main people who were able to help me. I would recommend this dealership to anyone, and I'm sure they would be pleased!

A Great Deal on a Great Car

onI bought a pre-owned, certified used car off the lot: it was pristine when I drove it, and the one or two concerns I had were addressed the next day. I feel I got a very fair price and thought Paulie and Sayed were great to work with. Would definitely recommend.

onI own a Toyota. Went back to the same dealership, the salesperson took the time to greet me then was helping 2 other people at the same time. Not a very courestous dealership. Went with a Hyundai. Better value for the money!

Great sales staff

onAlthough, I did not purchase my vehicle from this location, I was greeted quickly and offered exceptional service. I didn't feel rushed or hassled and the salesman took into consideration what I was looking for and at what price and was very honest about what was available on the lot. I personally worked with Mike Gallo and he was intelligent, honest, and very personable. He wasn't concerned about me necessarily purchasing a vehicle off the lot, but he was concerned that I got the right vehicle for me. He encouraged me to follow up with him on my car purchase, and still offers any assistance on any other aspect of my new car experience.

Arrogant Sales Staff

onPrior experience with this dealership involved sales personnel who didn't particularly care if they sold you a car or not. They were not about to bend over backwards. This time, I got a "no haggle" quote from them. They simply quoted full sticker price. When questioned, they blamed the tsunami. Other Toyota dealers are discounting, so we bought a car from Balise Toyota in W. Springfield, MA. It was worth going there to avoid Colonial.

exceptional staff, pleasant experience

onI had some issues with a Toyota dealership in my area, but I love Toyotas so much that I am willing to travel a bit to find the perfect Corolla! I was really happy to find Colonial Toyota after looking through some internet ads and reviews and this palce seemed to be a good one. Im glad I went with my instincts , Jay was so nice and he actually cared about what I wanted, not what he wanted to sell. I narrowed it down to a few Corolla cars but the one I really wanted didnt have a sun roof L but I know I could always put one in later. The salesman even offered me to find the same car with a sun roof, but Ive been waiting too long to buy a new car, I just couldnt wait, but it was really nice of him to consider it. Now, I am happily in love with my new car, I dont even think I want to put a sun roof in it anymore its just too perfect! Five stars for Colonial Toyota

worst experience ever had with a dealership

onThe lies started with test drive, asking if the car had any recalls, answered "absolutely not !! a month after purchasing the car two recall notices appeared at my door step. Promised to have the body work done, even put it in writing !!! not even that was honored. Lost the car keys, pretended to have found it, lost it again, and every time another lie compounded the previous ones. I am at my 8th car and never had such a treatment from a dealership ----- STAY AWAY FROM THEM

onI asked for a a price quote at [violative content deleted] and surprisingly got a response within an hour. I asked a few other dealers for a price quote and the only dealer that respnonded within a reasonable time was Colonial. I dealt with John who made the whole experience seamless and easy, I actually had fun during the experience! What a nice staff, a beautiful facility, what more can I say. I was happy with the deal I got and the treatment. I will recommend them to my friends and family.

onThere is a dealership closer to my home, but I like Colonial Toyota. I may go the extra miles anyway. On the whole, I felt like a received a fair price and one where we did not have to haggle. I appreciated that a lot. I knew my "stuff" and they knew theirs. My only disappointment was that Toyota did not provide me with a fair offer on my trade-in. Part of buying a car is often being able to trade in your old one. Toyota's offer to me was below blue book, after some research on how much it would cost to fix my car up - I reluctantly agreed and am now a proud owner of the 2010 Camry, overall was an excellent experience.

onI had been looking for a Prius that fit my needs, and I had gone to this dealership as well as a few others also very friendly, but I felt as if they were being nice and saying what I wanted to hear as opposed to the truth. Chris was very honest and upfront about everything. He did not try to sell me additional features, or try and get me to spend money on things I did not need because he knew I was clear about what I wanted and did not want. There was no bargaining involved since I got my Prius as a "manager's special," so I did not feel as if I was being hassled. Even after my car was purchased, Chris helped me understand some features that I was not clear on. Overall experience was good and quick.

onjust aweful experience. went to look at cars there and a group of [violative content deleted] that work there set off an alarm while we were browsing. They just laughed when we looked around to see who set it off. The employees drove the cars around the lot so rough and gunned it, not caring at all for them. Then the pushy sales guy came out. He was so rude, pushy and condescending. He insulted my father and I because we still wanted to shop around. This was the first place we went. He was rude and talked to us like dogs. The prices he gave us were way too high..18K for a corolla. Then he just stormed away. I only heard about rude car salesmen like this. The lady I work with had the same experience and when I told her about how bad it was she said she knew exactly who I was talking about. His name is Sunny..avoid him at all costs. Very unprofessional, I would never get a car from this place.

The worst sales department ever!!!!

onMy mother and I have bought 4 cars from this place. Each time it's been an excruciating experience. The salesmen were all pushy and rude. To top it off, I felt as if they really didn't know what they were talking about. The only reason we stayed with them is their service department was top notch.

onI went in to test drive a new Avalon, after fully researching this car on Edmunds of course. Apparently management decided they wanted to sell me a used Avalon because even getting the sales rep to show me a new Avalon took over 30 minutes, then he painstakingly went over every tiny detail even though I told him I had done a lot of research and already knew these facts. The poor sales rep kept looking nervously up in the tower where the manager was and it was making him sweat bullets. It took over an hour but I finally got a test drive in a new model and it was as nice as expected so I buckled down to start the painful negotiation process. First he started with the paperwork for a used model and when I stopped him he said that the downpayment for a new model was very high and I probably couldn't afford it! I might not dress like a high powered executive on the weekend but I am. So now I'm just ticked off. I said he didn't know what I could afford and just for kicks I asked what Toyota wanted for a down payment on a new Avalon? 20% he said forcefully. At that, I got up and told him I had no problem with that but I did have a big problem with this dealership. I walked out of there, down the street and bought a new Volvo and have been saying "Don't go there!" to everyone who asks me "So what about that Toyota Dealership around the corner from you?"
