First Impressions Last...

Came by the dealership to shop for cars, people were friendly and helpful, even had a test drive. Everything went well, until we started talking prices. Before we started, got some coffee, and overheard a gut furious because the dealership ran his credit report against his wishes. I ignored it because, I don't easily go by hear say. But when we talked about numbers, all i wanted to know was how much are they willing to sell the car, maybe beat the competition. I did not mention financing, I even shot down his question of how much monthly payments I can afford because we are only talking about price out the door. During that time he manage to get my information and I unknowingly (stupid) did his request, but when I realized it I said do not run my credit report yet, since we do not have a price we agree upon.He went to the manager, and came back, he ran my credit, which pissed me off. We left the dealership, later got notifications from my credit bureau that my credit was ran multiple times. Called the dealership told them to stop running my credit, but the next day it happened again. Called the only dealership that could have done that again, because they are the only dealership to ask to run your credit right off the bat out of many I visited. Never thought a dealership can deceive you face to face, usually they do that behind closed doors to make money, but this is the worse. And to think the sales guy we work with was one of our kind, so we felt comfortable, which was a huge mistake. A one star maybe overrated.

Prius Plug-in Purchase

During an Internet search of a White Prius Plug-in I was lead to Vallejo Toyota as one of the local dealers having the vehicle in stock. I filled out the online request form and within 2 hours I received a response from Jason S. Jason wasn't pushy and offered to reserve the vehicle at a price less than anyone in the area from the bay area to Roseville. Upon arriving Jason took us on a test drive and then left us to discuss what we wanted to do. The purchase was swift and problem free which made the purchase very enjoyable. Jill G. in the Finance department is a financial wizard. Jill continued crunching numbers and challenging various institutions for a better deal. Jill was able to meet my monthly payment goal and still save me $6,000.00 through the term of my loan by eliminating 8 months worth of payment.. Vallejo Toyota is a well oiled machine who has a large selection of vehicles in stock and a buying purchasing system that leaves the customer unpressured and very satisfied.

Great Experience at Toyota of Vallejo

I dealt with Jason, the internet sales guy, thru email for the whole process. Got price and car and set up appointment to drive test and buy. Jason was happy and friendly. He never tried to upsell. I was looking for 2011 Corolla S and the dealership had 40 to choose from. After the test drive, we were ready to complete the deal. Jason got all his paper work done in a flash and we had to wait for the finance department because they had another customer in there. When it was finally our turn, the finance lady (sorry, forgot her name), was friendly and tried to sell us extended warranty and other stuff. We just declined and she was fine. Not pushy at all. Great place.

Bought Tacoma in 2001.

When my wife and I were going to many Toyota dealers we would up choosing Toyota of Vallejo to buy our Tacoma Pre-runner. The sales people we deal with were very helpful and not pushy like many other dealerships sales persons. They let us teat drive the truck wtih no hasslkes and with out insisting on going with us, like some other dealers. We have used their service department and in genreal have benn satisfied with it. We are currently shoping for another Tacoma and hav visted a number of dealers again and found Vallejo's sales people to be the most helpful without tyring to hard sell us.
