Poor customer service

Horrible experience at Toyota of Riverside. Tony Garcia from finance lied about the vehicle not having a factory alarm just to upsell me. I opted for the after market alarm after believing there was no alarm. On top of that I later found out I was supposed to get the alarm at no extra charge. The worst part is the finance paperwork that was electronically submitted to my bank was incorrect. My bank emailed Toyota of Riverside about the error however they never replied. The dealer also never sent the physical paperwork to my bank. I had to call in order to get this fixed. Once the paperwork made it to the bank they told me it was still incorrect. The bank advised finance manager Chuck Evangelista of the error however he never bothered to call me. I had to call the dealer again. I started to have a funny feeling about the whole deal. I did some research and discovered that after 10 days if the loan has not been processed the dealer basically picks the bank for you. I did not need this since I was already approved by my bank. I believe that Toyota of Riverside intentionally took their time to get back to me so that the 10 days would expire and they could pick a bank of their choice. I had to leave work and go into the dealer in order to resolve the issue. I thank the general sales manager Fausto Hurtado and customer relations manager Cathryn Fleming for attempting to resolve the issue however at this point I was done. I was so dissatisfied with the service at Toyota of Riverside that I ended up returning the vehicle. Luckily before the 10 day period.

Dishonest and Unprofessional Salesmen

The first and the worst experience with Toyota dealership. I haven't seen such unprofessional behaviour and dishonesty in any company. I made an appointment to this dealership about two weeks ago. I talked with one of the dealers there. He showed me the prices and I told him that I am comparing Honda and Toyota prices to make a decision. We reached to an agreement on Toyota Camry SE 2018 with convenience package. I asked for a test drive. In the car I asked the price again and I emphasized that "So we can make a deal with this price?" He told me yes two times. I asked him what if I want to buy the car today? What is your lowest price in this case? He answered "let me see my documents and papers" I went to his office, after a while the manager came to me and offered a price hundred dollars per month more than our agreement!!! I could not believe that but they both insisted on that I was wrong. I left there and they called me after several hours. They wanted to make it better. I told them what is your price now? They told me they will call in a while. They called me and told me that it is impossible to offer you the deal you talked to the first dealer, not even close to that. The difference is about $100 per month. I changed my mind on Toyota, Im buying a either Honda or KIA. They are more honest and respectful.

So; I decided I needed a car today So I grabbed all my stuff and went on my way I went to Toyota of Riverside like I always do To get the best price, vehicle, and service too I had an appointment with Eric Dorati that Shannon Mace was so kind to make Eric showed us a variety of choices to take I spotted my Rav4 and new it was for me Test drive to the purchase was as easy as 1,2,3! It was an easy process; truly exceptional, and I couldn't be happier with my new car Thank you Toyota of Riverside; you all shine like stars!!

Emil is the Man!

Me and my fiancé went in and pretty much painted a picture of what we needed with finances being a little tight and Emil helped us out drastically. He took his time found out what car would fit the budget right to the tee and made it happen my fiancé is now driving a brand new 2018 Toyota Corolla, thank you so much Emil and the whole Toyota Team in Riverside you guys rock!

This was my first experience purchasing a car. I wanted a car that got great MPG and could fit my family of four while being in a certain price range. George L. was incredibly friendly and informative and a pleasure to work with. We look forward to future purchases and hope to work with him again. Akram, from finance, finished up the process with us in an enjoyable manner and helped us get great coverage on our car! Truly exceptional service, my friends!

I moved to Riverside 7 years ago and have since bought 3 vehicles from Toyota of Riverside. Not only do they give you the best, courteous treatment, frequently offering water, coffee and other beverages, but when it comes to business time they really help you to find the vehicle YOU want, not the one they want to sell. Every deal I have made with them I felt good about,(and I am a tough customer), and the attention they pay to your needs is outstanding. Their service is just as excellent when you bring your car in for maintenance. I have not had the pleasure of working with all personnel at Toyota of Riverside but my experiences with John Brandon, Moe Elsayed, and Jeffrey Prather to name a few have been outstanding. John and Moe go out of their way to accommodate you, going above and beyond any auto dealer I've ever experienced. Jeffery never forgets any customers, remembering them all by name and treating you like family. Looking for a Toyota? (why would you drive anything else?)Head over to Toyota of Riverside. Doesn't matter where you live, you won't be going anywhere else once you come by. I guarantee it!

Robert Sosa, the most rudest and bad mood person I ever met. I bought a car from here but that was after I asked for another saleman who then told me he was in a bad mood and left for the day, the part I dont like about it, is that he get credit for that sale. If I knew a way I could stop that I would in a heart beat.

Great experience

I was in the market for two vehicles, a midsize truck and a compact car for my mother and niece. I made initial contact with Shannon Mace from the online department who was very professional, cordial and polite. She was very helpful and did not pressure me whatsoever. When I found a few vehicles I was interested in, Shannon referred me to Adam in Sales. To make a long story short Adam went to the ends of the earth to help me feel comfortable and to offer me the best possible prices. I was able to purchase a Toyota Tacoma and a Volswagon Jetta for very competitive prices. Tony from finance was also very helpful and polite. I have never had such a positive experience at a dealership and I would refer anyone to Toyota of Riverside. I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Buying a new Highlander

So upset with the trade in value offer that I got from them, I wanted to trade in a car that I bought from their dealership 1 year ago. I got 0% APR when I got my car along with paying $1500 down payment but when I decided to get a different car a year later they asked me for $2000 for the upside down on my old car. They rip people off when you want to trade in your car even if you purchased that car from them. I used my Camry car for only 1 year and I only have 5000 miles on it, it was a value of 25,000 and now they want to take it for only $19,000. I paid $1500 down and I always make my payment on time, I have a good credit and after 5000 miles of usage my car still almost like a brand new and they want me to pay 2000 for the upside down. I don't recommend this deal if you ever want to trade in your car even if you got it from them since they will rip you off.
