We recently purchased a Chrysler Town and Country from Providence. We were trading in a fairly new Ford Explorer and were concerned about the loss of value due to depreciation. Providence treated us very fairly and it was a pleasure doing business with them.

Damaging Jeep's Reputation

I purchased a 2008 Grand Cherokee Overland from this establishment.I would not recommend this dealer for a number of reasons. Salesman Richard Gales 1. They do not honor written agreements made at time of sale. 2. They suggest there service is great but do not fulfill commitments or complete service on time. 3. They try to sell you service contracts at over $1400 of invoice price. (I purchased a warranty from another establishment at cost because they wanted my business. Providence refused to match the price and continued to lie about what they paid for the contract. 4. If you are searching for a car that they do not have, they may lie to you and tell you that it is not available. We were searching for a Black Overland, which they insisted did not exist in the area. Unfortunately, 2 days after we purchased we found a Black Overland 75 miles from the dealership, they could have dealer traded but they did not want to loose the holdback. 5. After we purchased a top of the line car from this dealer, we failed to receive any call from the dealer to see how we liked the car and when we returned to have it serviced they provided a beat-up Dodge Caliber, which had no gas in it. This is the new car I have purchased and this was by far my worst purchasing experience!
