swindled.

I purchased a used SUV from Paul Brown. The sales person Chris and the financial person ( I don't recall his name) were extreemly pushy. I felt like I was being talked down to when I had questions. We bought the car at night. The next morning after driving it home I saw a crack in the window. I also heard a rattling noise. I called Chris back and he informed me the crack had already been filled and was fine. The crack has now grown and Paul brown will not fix it. Also, this rattle noise ended up being a serious issue and was not covered under warrenty. They "gave me a deal" and waived the deductible. I leave the dealership and I head the same noise now on the opposite side. I bring it back. They apologize as they "should have checked that side too". A few weeks have passed and I now hear the noise in the front. I take it back and, wow! Its the same issue. I hear the noise in both the driver and passenger side front. They SWEAR to me only one side needs to be fixed, that the other side is fine, and I have to pay ANOTHER $100 deductible. So, lets wait and see how many days pass when the noise gets worse and they "find" the issue and I have to pay another $100. They really talk up what a good deal you are getting until things start to go wrong, theN its all on the buyer.

Research Before You Buy From Them

I was told by the owner that I would be sued for “freedom of speech” about this dealership and my own personal experience. I was in the market for a new car and have taken an interest in a more luxury style vehicle. When passing Paul Brown Jeep Dodge Ram I came across a Land Rover (vin# SAlAE25418A450901) for sale. I would be trading in my 2008 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition for a more luxury SUV. I was approached by Jessy N. a sales rep for this sale on the Land Rover. Before purchasing this vehicle I wanted to get all information on this type of vehicle. We were told that this vehicle was owned by a Land Rover Rep. When calling Land Rover, they said that this vehicle was never owned by a rep and it has been in the hands of many owners and to beware that there is most likely something wrong with this SUV. In the meantime we placed a $2000 deposit on this vehicle to hold it and find out more info regarding the vehicle. When contacting Land Rover for a second time, they told us exactly what we should check for before we buy this vehicle. We asked Paul Brown Jeep Dodge Ram to place the car on a lift. They made is seem like it was such a hassle to do their job. When we asked them to remove the front skid plate under the vehicle, once again they made it seem like we were being difficult. Again we argued and they did as we asked. As the plate was being removed it was very noticeable that there was a massive oil leak and the wheel barring was in really bad shape. Along with the anti-roll mitigation and air compressor not functioning. At that time we asked to see the service records on this vehicle. Jessy did not want to give them to us. Once again as consumers we need to know what we are buying and he printed out the service records. The service record clearly stated that the car had MASSIVE oil leaks and the front differential was leaking out fluid. I was never so shocked that a company could hold that information from a client. We decided to allow them to make this right by us and contacted the owner Terry B. To much of our surprise he said that they did nothing wrong. When we told him that we will in fact let people know about the truth of this dealership and what happened to us, he told us that this call was being recorded and he would sue our [non-permissible content removed]. Normally calls are recorded for Quality Assurance (they definitely lack that). I also did not know that the word [non-permissible content removed] was a part of the professional language for quality assurance. After everything that we went through he told us that he was willing to give us $1000 off a used 2009 Jeep with 66k miles and he would give it to us for $24,000. Are you kidding me? We went to buy a $26,000 vehicle and found everything wrong with it and they withheld information and the only thing that he did was tell us that we can get $1000 off a “USED” Jeep and that we will be sued for “freedom of speech” this guy is clearly a joke. You should hear the radio advertisement…. That is a joke as well. Let me guess what they will say when they respond to this: “we have been in business for over 50 years …… blah blah blah….CORRECTION: Your “father” was in business for over 50 years and knew how to run a business. It is my right as a citizen and as a mother to warn consumers. Luckily, I researched the history of this vehicle and never put my children in danger of driving around in what I believe to be hazardous vehicle sold by Paul Brown Jeep Dodge Ram. I will be happy to report again if they respond. used cars in New York 1145 E State St Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, and Jeep car repair original Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, and Jeep parts
