onI was in the market for a new Tacoma, I am a returning customer because of the great service Gulf Coast has bestowed on me. This time was no different, having the opportunity to get a deal done with Steve Gomez was an enjoyable experience. The best vehicle purchase experience ever

onEveryone was very courteous not once did we feel pressured to buy a vehicle. Our salesman Les Simmons was the best. He asked us what WE wanted and asked US what he had to do to close the deal. He jumped through hoops to get it the deal done and stayed after closing to ensure we were satisfied.

onOur saleperson, Domingo Morin, was very informative, polite, and respectful. He answered all of our questions quickly and accurately. And what he could not answer he got the answer back very quickly. The finance rep, John Jaso, was very helpful and knowledgeable. And the sales manager, Scott Morgan was very helpful and accommodating to our special financial needs.

Happy return customer

onI just bought a 2015 Toyota Prius. The is the second car I've bought from this dealer; the first was in 2007. I knew exactly what car I wanted, and I wanted a hassle-free experience. I came back to this dealer because of the "Internet" prices advertised on their website. The price was at the lower end of the KBB fair price range, so I didn't try to negotiate any lower. Other regional dealers weren't willing to beat their price. They were very honest with me that they couldn't beat the financing that I had gotten from my bank, so they didn't even bother running our credit reports or trying to talk us into the financing. They half-heartedly tried to up the price by insisting it didn't include the dealer add-ons. I told them firmly that I would take the advertised internet price or I would go home, and we had a deal. They didn't try to sell us an extended warranty or any other extras. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Everyone was very friendly, and I am satisfied that the deal was fair for both sides. I was also happy with the indoor and outdoor play areas for the kids, which helped distract mine while we signed paperwork.

onOur salesman didn't try to talk me into something different than what I was looking for! I was able to test drive the vehicle home, pick up my husband, and when we got back to the dealership; our paperwork was already drawn up! They even fed us lunch, this was how car buying should be!!

onEveryone very friendly. Made me feel at ease and trusted their answers to my questions. Leta was very knowledgeable and patient. We drove several different cars and she knew the stats on each one and she never rushed us or made us feel like we were waisting her time. I do not like pushy salesman and appreciate that she did not come accross as such.

Awesome Staff and Great Dealership

onMy Sales person was Cody K. and he was a a super nice salesman. Worked hard to find and get me the vehicle I wanted and didn't play a bunch of games like running back and forth to finance or sales managers before giving the payments I needed to make the purchase. I told him what I was looking for and he went above and beyond and actually found me the F-150 EcoBoost engine that I wanted in a brand new model for cheaper than I could have found in a used model. The whole staff including the finance guy were top notch. I've already communicated with Mr. K. after the sale and told him thank you to which he did respond. I will send anyone that is looking to buy a vehicle to them or at least have them look at this dealership before making a purchase. It was a road trip for me to go up there, but one that I'm happy I made.

Bait & Switch

onOn Saturday 12-07-2013 my wife viewed www.gulfcoastnissan.com to look for a Nissan car for her mother. She noticed the closeout sale on the 2013 Nissan Maxima, and was instantly intrigued. We were particularly interested in stock number DC835523. I called the dealership and spoke with a young man named Cody H. I questioned him to see if the car that we were interested in was still available. He checked, and confirmed that it was still available. It was 15 minutes until the dealership closed, so we agreed to meet on Monday 12-09-2013 to complete the sale when my mother-in-law got off of work. We arrived at the dealership around 4:05pm and met with Cody. We viewed the car and took it for a test drive. My mother-in-law fell in love with the car, so we went inside to do the paperwork. Cody asked about the price that we had seen on the internet, and proceeded to look it up. He then went to speak with the manager. When Cody returned he had a form showing the car price, discount, TT&L, etc We noticed that the price was more than $4,000.00 higher than what we saw on the internet. We questioned him, and he went to speak with the manager again. We have an image of the website showing the car and the price that was displayed on the internet when we spoke with Cody on Saturday. We provided a copy of this to Cody, and he took it to the manager. Cody returned again with the internet manager who offered an apology for his mistake of improperly advertising the car. Cody and the internet manager stated that the Nissan manager would not honor the price quoted on the internet, but offered their assurances that the car was still an excellent buy at more than $4,000.00 above the posted internet price. We explained to them that my mother-in-law was stretching herself to purchase the car at the posted price of $18,384.00, but could not pay more for the car. They of course offered a lesser car or to see if they could finance the car for a longer term to keep the payments down. I told them that we were not interested in doing business with a company that would not honor the pricing that they posted, and we left the dealership. On 12-10-2013 I sent separate emails to Davis B. (Dealer), Mark H. (General Manager), and Mickey B. (Managing Partner), and Peter K. (eBusiness Director) explaining what had happened, and requesting that they honor the price that was posted. Peter K. was the only one of these managers that bothered to responded to my complaint. I later found out that Peter was the internet manager that previously apologized. His email response was an echo of his apology, and he stated that he would check with the Nissan Manager to see if anything could be done. I've not received a response since. I have never met Arnold A. (Nissan Manager) because although we were very unhappy at the dealership, he did not speak with us directly. He is the one that refuses to honor the price that they posted on the internet.

onI am a 20 year old man I recently leased my second vehicle from gulf coast Toyota dealership, with this being my second vehicle to be leased I had some experience with them. the first of which paid off now, yes a 20 year old who paid off his own vehicle rare right, I had gone in knowing what I was searching for but was keeping my options open. right off the bat the salesman (and women) were very courteous, very attentive and quick to assist, polite, friendly and patient. on top of being eager to help in informing me of different options they had in stock, they also informed me very well of the vehicles that caught my eye. explained different options I had in detail making sure I understood completely, answering questions thoroughly and clearly. I felt no pressure and the feeling of talking to a "car shark" was nowhere to be found, they retained a feeling of friendliness as though they where a friend or neighbor. from start to end the process was smoother than anticipated and seemed to breeze by. to sum it all up these men and women are some of the nicest car salesmen you'll ever meet, I am very happy with my experience with them and will 100% recommend to friends and family.

Internet Sales Manager

onTheir lowest price was 2,258 higher than the lowest price I had found for the same vehicle. That said, this was one of the dealerships that I felt the most comfortable with. They (I think Kenny) spent a lot of time on the telephone trying to assist me. In the end, the price was just too high, but if money was no object, I would recommend this dealership.

Wonderful Experiences and Treated with Respect

onI have purchased 2 vehicles from Gulf Coast Auto Park. I purchased a 2004 Nissan Maxima back in June, 2003 and a 2007 Toyota Camry in December, 2006. Both times I had wonderful experiences and, being a woman looking for a car alone, was treated with a great deal of respect. The salesman I bought my Nissan Maxima from is no longer there. But the man I bought my Camry from still works there and has been there for quite some time. His name is ALLEN BROWN and he is located in the Toyota building, but he is able to sell any of the makes on their lot (Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Scion or any pre-owned vehicle). The company I work for has special pricing incentives with a few dealerships up in Houston, but Allen was able to beat even those prices and gave me a remarkable deal!! The sale was easy, quick and smooth..no headaches at all. I highly recommend this dealership and definitely this salesman!! I know I'LL be back when it's time for me to buy again!!
