Happy St. Patty’s day to us

We started out at a different dealership(Not Russ Darrow) we test drive a few cars trying to figure out what we wanted for sure. We agreed on the Dodge Caravan. We saw Russ darrow had one in our price range so we called and the person said it was there. We went over there already annoyed bc the other dealership was SO PUSHY. They even held my keys trying to push us to purchase the dodge van they had and it wasn’t what we wanted. Kept trying to make a sale. So coming into Russ Darrow we were already on edge. Then Kevin Galster greeted us at the door and attempted to find the van. (It was being checked over) so we explained our situation and our negitive equity etc and then he explained the rebates and so on about purchasing a brand new van instead of used. Anyways. Kevin was VERY VERY knowlegable and told us every option we could try. We decided to buy brand new. He found the perfect van in our price range. He even stayed after closing and didn’t complain once. We had great conversation waiting for the numbers to be ran, which I must add was SO FAST! Our horrible day turned into an awesome day! Thank you Kevin so much for helping us out and getting us in a brand new 2018 Dodge Caravan. I will forever recommend you and Russ Darrow for your great sales and service. Bad start great finish

We arrived at the set appointment time to see a specific vehicle. Oops somebody didn't get the memo. We almost walked out. But after many apologies and 4 hours waiting for the vehicle a good deal was struck. Lucas Branem our sales rep was great, during and after the sale. I can highly recommend this dealership.

LOVE this dealership!!!!

After looking and researching for about a month for a USED vehicle, I met Tyler Conner! I had my mind set on what I wanted, and how much I wanted to spend, and he talked me into a brand new vehicle! We had been to other dealerships, and was not impressed on how we were treated, but Russ Darrow was so different! So, when I say, talked into a new vehicle, it is a good thing! Tyler was not the typical cheesy car salesman, talking me into something I didn't want. He was laid back, polite, and so helpful! And funny as heck! I am pretty sure people could hear me laugh from down the street! After weighing all my options, and comparing new to used, with honest accurate information, I drove away in a brand new jeep! They gave me good money for my trade in, I got a great interest rate and incentives, and felt like I was treated like family. I even grabbed a few extra business cards to give to friends because I was so impressed by the service I received! Tyler, you did a great job, and I am very thankful you were the first one to greet me! Love my jeep! Thanks!!

Awful car buying experience

Awful car buying experience! The lack of ethical integrity and customer service was unbelievable. After several emails and a letter to the General Manager, nothing was done to rectify the situation. I finally received an acknowledgement and "hope you'll do business with our service department-they have a great manager" after detailing my awful experience with their new car manager. The only argument anyone at their location could give me for doing business with them was that they were simply closer to me than any other dealers. After the horrific experience, I'd gladly travel a further distance. I certainly will not recommend Russ Darrow to any of my friends and family in good conscious.

courtesy and customer service missing

The following e-mail was sent to my Salesman at Russ Darrow Madison West location following a very disappointing experience: As a sales and marketing professional for more than 35 years, the poor customer service and misleading sales techniques I recently experienced at Russ Darrow necessitate this e-mail. On Tuesday of this week, I was prepared to purchase the 2013 Jeep Overland at our negotiated price of $34,000. The vehicle was not my first choice, as the vehicle I had inquired about and been told was available had actually been sold. Thus, I reluctantly agreed to a different Overland with 37,000 miles on the odometer and the assurance the vehicle was Factory Certified. During the document signing with the F& I manger, the documents placed before me indicated the vehicle was not certified, the factory warranty had expired, and the vehicle was used for business use. Additionally, after expressing my displeasure, and upon requesting a line item breakout of the total amount borrowed, I was told the amount to be borrowed included a $299 document storage fee ! Expressing additional displeasure at what I perceived as a "last minute $$$ jab", the F& I manager asked if I wanted to meet with the GM. I indicated yes, he left the room, returned shortly and said there was nothing to be done, as the dealership was "already loosing money on the sale". Apparently, the GM felt that it as not necessary to meet with me personally or address any of my concerns. The lack of concern and disrespect shown me by the GM in refusing to meet with me was the "final straw" and prompted me to say "no" to the sale and leave the dealership. As I previously indicated, my family was in the car business as a Chevrolet dealer for almost 70 years...and our family prided itself on exceptional courtesy and customer service. The lack of courtesy and respect I was shown by both the F& I manager and the "too busy to meet me" GM, indicate to me that customer service is not a priority or concern at Russ Darrow, and apparently, neither is my business. I respectfully request you forward this e-mail to the GM as well as your corporate headquarters, though quite frankly, given my recent experience at Russ Darrow, I do not expect you to fulfill this request, nor do I expect a response to this e-mail.
