Worth the trip to Cortese Dodge/Jeep/Ford

Rick Riola was our salesperson and works in the Dodge dealership. We actually purchased a used vehicle from the Ford dealership and Rick was very accommodating. The car was for my teen daughter. Rick was very professional and patient. We all know how indecisive teens can be. Jesse and Steve at the Ford store were great as well. My wife solely drives Jeeps that we typically purchase or lease from Doan. Now that we know Rick is at your Henrietta dealership we will gladly drive from Greece to give them our business.

Excellent Sales Process Start to Finish!

My experience was excellent! Prior to Cortese, I purchased vehicles from Hoselton. For 20+ years my family and I enjoyed their service, primarily through a former specific salesman. I purchased a Jeep in 2007, they then sold that portion of their dealership to Vision. After multiple bad experiences with Vision's service, and multiple bad experiences with Marina Jeep's service and sales, I was determined to abandon the Jeep line altogether. Afterall, why buy a car I can't have serviced in my area? Upon reaching Cortese, I was greeted by a bold, younger woman. Although I did not expect much, she disproved EVERY notion of her, car buying experiences and Jeep. To be clear: without Samantha's approach to the entire process, I'd have walked from the Jeep line altogether. Instead, she asked questions, listened to my answers, joked and found solutions appropriate to my situation - all while selling me (upselling, selling, etc.. but not pushy). We walked through several options, arriving at a lease option that fit my budget. What impressed me most, she discouraged my buying a car outside my price range, instead encouraging me to go with what I liked, could afford, and focusing on coming back to see her in 2 years for the next "better" car (my view of better). She sold me there, on the spot, when all I needed was information about what to do with my current vehicle and how to proceed with my sales process. The new vehicle is amazing (2016 Jeep Compass, leased with a trade of my former 2007 Compass). The process was painless, enjoyable and faster than expected. I now have a "Car Girl" for family and friends when they ask. This is exactly the type of service and approach that will cause me to return. Thank you.

I checked out used vehicles on your web site and I found a 2010 Chevy Tahoe. From the start I received an email from your internet specialist, to setting up a time to come into the dealership to have a test drive. I then was assigned to salesman Chris Dunkleberger who was very resourceful, presented a professional image and represented your dealership well.

Most efficient car purchase in 20 years!

Although I have only purchased a handful of cars in the past 20+ years, I was surprised by the knowledge and efficiency of the salesperson about the vehicle I was interested in. I feel I received a fair trade in price too.

worst dealership in rochester

customer service is horrible. sales team isnt trained on the cars and they over sale and under deliver on their promises. they think theyve been around too long to be brought down by complaints from the community

My daughter was in the market for a new Dodge Dart. We went to Cortese after getting a quote elsewhere. Cortese wanted almost $4,000 more! When I told them they weren't even close they said the other dealer was" playing games" and would never sell for that price. They then proceeded to continue to run down the competition and do everything they could to not let us leave, including not giving my daughter her key back. I had to finally get loud and demand her key. The manager finally gave it back and then followed us into the parking lot and tried to get in her car to " look it over one more time"! We will NEVER go there again. We returned to Doan the next day and purchased the car for exactly what they had quoted. They even through in a couple extras at no charge. If I could give Cortese a rating lower than one star I would.

Sales person blew me off

Made an appointment and was told after I got there it would be another 30 minutes. Never offered to see another dealer. There were a couple standing around. So I walked out.

Bad bad Dealer

I would not only never reccomend Cortese to anyone I know, I would actively tell people to stay away. I came to Cortese in a tough situation. I'm roughly $3500 upside down in my current car and need to upgrade in size. I told the sales guy up front I HAD to keep the payment around $300. I told him at $351 I would walk away. I understand this would not be an easy feet, as my credit is in the mid to low 600's. I know my credit score because I check it regularly. I made an appointment with their internet sales department to look at a Mazda5 five days early. The Mazda5 sold before my appointment and they did not notify me. I understand why, but still. The are completely vague. Not once did they tell me the price on any of the vehicles they were showing me. They were pushy. And they made crazy promises that I knew weren't true. They told me my credit score was 80 points lower than it actually was. because of my"horrible" credit they offered me a 64 month loan (wierd right?) at a very high interest rate. I'm not sure exactly what it was; because they wouyldn't tell me, but I do know that by the end of the loan I would have payed back almost $23K for a 2006 Mercury Mariner with 49K miles on it. Something didn't add up. I ended up walking away, because the final payment was going to be $352 a month. When I stood my ground on my promise to walk away if it were one dollar over $350 they got highly irritated and pushy. They tried to make me feel like a bad person for not just buying it. The finance guy told me that he discounted the car so much that HE was talking a loss! so n ow you can add lies to the list. Horrible dealer.
