Great people to deal with. Jeff was the best. All people we came in contact with were friendly and very helpful. This company has customer service which is missing from so many places today. Thanks again for making us feel at home.

This is the second vehicle purchased from this dealership and sales team. Wonderful experience. The sales team answered the entire wish list and then went beyond. Look forward to the next ten years of outstanding service.

Not good, Not close to bad.

by greywulf4570 on 02/24/2017

Unfortunately, this dealership likes to roll a customer through as many different sales people as they can rather than deal one on one. If that is bait and switch so be it. They present vehicles at maximum price points and peak markup, in the meantime, the vehicles leave the lot for days and return months later having been driven for thousands of miles. If they originally offer a vehicle as being in stellar condition, and then use it for months racking up mileage, if that is bait and switch, so be it. Equipment offered with the vehicles originally, disappears. (Custom fitted floormats) in this instance. If the dealer offers the vehicle as pictured in their website having equipment installed and the vehicle doesn't appear that way on the lot after being driven for months, If that is bait and switch , so be it. If the dealer states they are accepting offers, and an offer is made in good faith based on true market value pricing by Edmunds and supported by documentation from GM sources and others, and they refuse to acknowledge the truth about the actual vehicle condition and adjust their pricing accordingly, I presume, that is there prerogative, however, It appears they do not wish to be too transparent about their vehicle care and protection and operating condition. They deny any documentation contrary to their falsely presented façade regarding their vehicles, vehicles which are apparently being driven until they have no warranty left, no tread on the tires, and are basically worth less than their "firm" deal pricing algorithms. True to form, this dealership does not warrant a second look, much less a first one. I do not recommend it. the way they treat their customers is appalling They are looking for the buyer who knows nothing about cars . It is sad to see dealerships like this operate they way they do. their 1 to 10 rating is negative. and I will leave it at that.

Spectacular

by Easycarbuying on 05/04/2016

From the beginning to the end, the transaction could not have gone any better. Randy is an awesome sales man! He took very good care of us while being professional as well as personable. Allen the finance manager knew we had plans, so he made sure we were out of his office in plenty of time to enjoy the rest of our day. This is the 2nd car I have purchased from Jason Pilger Hyundai, and I look forward to a long and lasting relationship in the future. We dealt with Palmer's Hyundai in Mobile for about a week before going back to Jason and his team, and there is just no comparison. Top Notch staff, which in my opinion, is what makes or breaks a deal!

Buyer Beware

by baitandswitc4 on 01/30/2016

We have had a horrible experience dealing with Jason Pilger Hyundai. Appears that Bait and switch is going on at this dealership. Internet managers promising pricing (Bait) on new automobiles that they can not deliver (Switch). I attempted to purchase a Sonata for my daughter at Jason Pilger Hyundai and was given an email price on the vehicle that apparently the Internet Sales Manager (Rashod Turner) could not deliver. We went in as a family to test drive her new vehicle and originally wanted to close on the loan on tuesday Feb 1. Rashod stated that his numbers were down for the month and offered to take an additional $1000 off the emailed price on the car. I accepted the offer, we shook on it in front of our daughter and went home to arrange financing on our new vehicle. The next day when I called in to schedule the closing I was told that they could not honor that price. Needless to say the deal fell through and now my daughter is crushed to learn that she will not be getting her new car as expected. As a last resort I contacted the General Manager Moe Alam who agreed to look into this deal. After doing so I was told again that they could not honor the price as offered. He made no effort to make this right or try to gain our business back. Alam;s comment to me was they would be happy if we paid sticker price on the vehicle. My most recent email with Rashod Turner reads as follows: Rashod Turner <rturner@jasonpilgerhyundai.dealerspace.com> Jan 27 (3 days ago) to me $18,250+++ = $19,652.25 OTD Based on my experience, I would not trust anything this dealership tells you or puts in writing. They have treated my family dishonestly and now I have an upset daughter who was so excited to have a new car. Dealing with Jason Pilger Hyunda by far has been the worst experience that I have ever had in the purchase of an automobile.

Squeezed extra charges on contract

by Ozzmet31 on 11/02/2015

I purchased a Hyundai Sonata from Jason Pilger Hyundai and when i got to sit down and review out contract, I found that they had charged 360.00 for clerical fees amd 1700.00 for extended warranty and also 800 for a gap plan. Which none of this did i agree to or want. Also i didnt evn ty to negotiate them to a lower amount thinking that maybe they wouldnt put the screws to me. Boy was i wrong i wouldnt suggest anyone going to this place.

Jason Pilger Hyundai [non-permissible content removed]

by techjeff1 on 10/08/2014

Stay clear of these [non-permissible content removed]. When I asked the sales Manager why they didn't have the new car they quoted me over the phone at their dealership, he told me it is their policy is to tell people anything it takes to get them to come down to the lot hoping they can upsell you. In my case they wanted they wanted $4000 more for it than they quoted on the phone. Derrick lied to me knowing we would be driving 100 miles to get to their dealership. After reading the other reviews about Jason Pilger Hyundai I see others have had the same experience. They seem to be a business built on lies.

Bait and switch

by Bayourest on 07/28/2014

Made an appointment four days in advance to drive a car. Drove fifty miles and even was a little early for the appointment. They took our info then made us wait while they put on a show about not being able to find the car. Finally sales guy calls the "customer" who has the car loaned to them. But of course since we drove all of this way, there surely had to be another car that interested us... Yeah right. We left. Then they proceeded to call and email different similar vehicles. We bought a car later the same day, of course not from them. We were not happy at all with either the deliberate manipulation OR total disorganization. You would think a dealer would know who was supposed to come in and drive different vehicles. I still believe they either had sold it before our appointment and didn't tell us or they never had it to begin with... Beware.

A Stress-Free Car Buying Experience!

by tiffanyblitz on 10/08/2011

We purchased a used Chevy Suburban from Jason Pilger Hyundai, and it was a wonderful experience. No stress, no games, no "used car salesman" tactics. They were honest about the condition of the vehicle, and anxious to make a fair deal. We will send all our friends to Jason Pilger Hyundai!

Commending experience at Jason Pilger Hyundai in Gautier Mississippi

by alenabonadio on 08/16/2011

Hello all, I was in the market for a new 2011 Hyundai Elantra and I don't know anything about interest rates or dealer hold back incentives. We have a lot of dealerships over where I live so Jason Pilger Hyundai had to be pretty good to get me to buy my vehicle from them. I was quoted a fair and honest price on a New Hyundai Elantra via email by their online manager Derek Montalvo. He emailed me an out an out the door price including title, first month, and tax, per my request. I advised them that if this deal was not plausible I didn't want them running my credit. However Derek was very respectful and did the deal exactly like he said he was going to do in the first place. This absolutely did not happen at the last dealership we went to. This is a respected Dealership and I know quite a few people that dealt with them and had an enjoyable experience. The way to go on this car buying thing now is do everything online before you get to the dealership. I would wait for the 2012 but I honestly don't want to pay more a month for something that I can get for a good savings. Greatly appreciated with my car buying results and overall experience was better than most dealerships.

Little Lies?

by donnagirl1964 on 04/29/2008

When I contacted Chuck Stevens Hyundai about a used 2008 HHR they gave me one price, I made an offer and they refused. A few minutes later they called to say they'd take my offer, plus tax, title and a little thing called a DOT charge, which was ONLY $500. When I questioned it I was told, "all the dealerships do it, it's for paperwork, etc". I knew they were trying to pull a fast one but I was close by so I drove over to look at the car, I figured I could call their bluff once I made a final decision. When I saw the car it was less than a year old and had scratches from one end to the other. It was obvious it had been used as some type of work car and the person using it did not take care of it. There was even a dent in the steering wheel that looked like a perfect thumb print (over the horn). I asked about the scratches and I was told since it was considered a used car (during the pricing haggle they referred to it as a practically new car) and that accepting those scratches was just part of the used package. Again they used their famed phrase "all dealerships sale used cars scratched". I think because I was a woman that they thought I would fall for their tricks and little lies, but I didn't. The atmosphere at the dealership was arrogant and unconcerned. From my experience I would say STAY AWAY FROM CHUCK STEVENS HYUNDAI.
