Culture of Uncaring

If you enjoy being price gouged by a car dealer, this is the one for you! Unfortunately, this dealership is still back in the stone ages and thinks the consumer doesn't mind paying beyond MRSP as well for dealer added items of highly questionable value. Also, they don't mind wasting your time and making you wait over 6 hours, just to purchase a vehicle. I traded several e-mails with this dealership regarding the specific vehicle and color I was interested in. Finally, I was able to discover they had it in stock. They never did provide me with an internet price as their advertising claims. Against my better judgement, after reading many reviews of this dealership, I visited their showroom. Upon arrival I noted the vehicle on their lot with not only a $5,000 dealer mark up on it, but a host of added on items, adding nearly $8K to the price of the car. After wasting hours with back and forth over vehicle price, fair trade in value, and presenting them with documentation of an offer from a local dealer who would sell me the same car for $1K below MRSP and offered me $1K more than their low ball trade in offer, they managed to drop the price a bit and increase the trade in valuation. I then spent probably 2 hours waiting for financing to finalize my sale. By the time I was complete with the transaction, the dealership was closing. As I left the sales manager commented how he hated to have let that car go for so little, as if above MRSP was so little. Talk about greed and disrespect for your customers! Since I purchased the car out of state, they agreed to send on the registration materials my local DMV. It wasn't until several e-mails, and phone calls from me and the DMV, that they sent on the documentation. Unfortunately it was incomplete and required further requests to them. As a result, I had to purchase a second trip permit to keep using the vehicle before license plates would arrive. After the sale, I questioned several of the costs in the transaction. Their responses implied that **I** seemed to misunderstand the transaction. . . never taking responsibility for their shady and less than forthcoming representations. As a result of this, I would definitely categorize this as the absolute worst new car purchase I have ever had in my life, and I've bought over 25 cars in my lifetime. I would NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone, and suggest you seek a dealership that honestly looks after their customers well being, treats them with respect, and doesn't waste their time or money. Their culture of care is but a sad joke.

New Honda

I had a great experience with Alisa King at Honda of Marysville buying my new Honda. I arrived with online quotes for my trade-in and the car I was looking for, which were honored/matched. Alisa helped me narrow my search and provided many options. It became apparent that the car I wanted was just not in the inventory at Marysville. Long story short Alisa made it happen, overcoming many hurdles and accommodating to my needs. I got exactly the car I wanted with a fair deal. The negotiation was pretty low pressure, there was minimal back and forth, she understood where I was coming from. She was friendly, attentive to me and the needs of my parents (one of whom has mobility issues), and was pretty no nonsense. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a Honda. (Oh and yay for women in car sales!) I also had the pleasure of working with Larry White in finance. He was a pleasure to spend time with, and again pretty low pressure. He was humorous and welcoming. He gave his objective opinions about each topic we discussed, answered my questions, and gave me the information I needed to make some pretty important decisions. In the end I drove away happy with a sweet ride. I didn't feel creeped out, gross, or ripped off as I have in past experiences buying cars
