The salesfolks were great helping us locate the vehicle we wanted. But we asked multiple times about the financing rate and the salefolks conveniently didn't know. After a total of 7 hours, durning the final paperwork, they astounded us with a ridculously high GM finance rate. It seems systematized that they would not give this information up front. Very bad business strategy. We nearly walked out. They quickly lowered the rate 2%, but still VERY high. Again, poor business tactic if they want repeat customers.

This is the best experience I've had in buying a car or truck ever -- and I'm 70 years old. Damion Reid and his sales manager Eric Duncan went out of their way, and way beyond what was required, in finding us just the truck we wanted with the features we needed. This included finding the vehicle at another dealer and then using a third-party vendor to add a feature we required. Exemplary service. Although we were looking for a used (2013-2015) pickup, we ended up buying a "new" (i.e., previously unsold) 2016 pickup and taking advantage of the 0% financing option.

Not a good one! I started my adventure by noting exactly what I wanted and how much I was going to spend. I was specific that I didn't want to play the finagling game and yet they proceeded to do so. Guess what? They magically sold the truck to me for what I wanted! Why the games? But, it gets better. I had to return to sign paperwork that wasn't completed at time of purchase. I received my Vehicle Property Tax Notice and suddenly I was Mary Carney. The DMV would not let me pay as I'm not Mary! I bought my truck in early Feb and they are still trying to correct the issue!!! I call and they told me it's corrected and I should receive the corrected version by the end of the week, waiting, waiting, waiting. I call back to inform them the corrected version still says Mary! I call yet again, 'you should have received that last week. Nope! Did I mention when I call I always tell them to call me so I may stay informed. Never happened. Very disappointed and still waiting on my corrected vehicle property tax notice. Today is 30 Mar 2017 and I'm still waiting. To top it off my temporary tag expires April. So, to answer your questions...No I would NOT recommend anyone go through this at your dealership.

The sales staff at Hendrick GMC Southpoint provide a world-class experience! They are very professional and accommodating to customers' needs, with a low pressure approach. My sales person (Matt) mentioned training and conventions Hendrick has sent him on to learn about the latest technology and safety of GM's vehicles. This is great to hear as a buyer who wants their sales person to be knowledgeable about the vehicles he's selling. They are also very tech-savvy and are great at communicating through all channels (email, phone, text, web browser). This creates a sales process that the Millennial Generation responds well to, since they communicate through all channels. It was easy to negotiate and didn't feel hostile. Both parties felt like a good deal was made. I will continue to buy from this dealership location as long as they keep up the great work and quality sales team!! Highly recommended.

I recently bought a new car from Hendricks. I was surprised by the experience - in a good way. The team were easy to deal with - always respectful, and never applied any pressure. They were straight forward and transparent about pricing and what they could offer me, even offering up other web sites and resources for research. The process itself was very simple, very professional - and of course the facility is brand new. They really treat you like a respected customer. I would go back, and recommend to friends and family.

We just purchased a 2013 Avalanche at the Hendrick Durham Auto Mall. We were made to feel welcome even though we were intially just browsing. We experienced no high pressure sales tactics and the "let me see what my sales manager can do for you" game experienced at other dealerships was practically non-existent at Hendrick. Though we have bought several new cars over the last decade I still don't like the process of doing so. When leaving the Hendrick Auto Mall yesterday I felt like I had received a fair deal and great service.

I found a new CTS-V Coupe with all the options I wanted on ebay. Hendrick Durham Buick Chevrolet was located about 400 miles from my home. After contacting them about the car They stayed in contact with me and answered all my concerns. Two days later I went to the dealership and received outstanding attention and service, they even arraigned to get the car to Lexington Ky. I came into Hendrick simply looking for some numbers for a new car. My salesperson, Joel, made me feel comfortable and did not pressure me to get a car in which I would not be able to maintain payments. He took his time to make sure that I was completely satisfied, regardless of how many different times I may have changed my mind. Every step of the way, he asked my opinion and kept my opinions at the forefront. I had been shopping around for a car, and Joel is the first salesperson to be honest and realistic (neither just saying what I wanted to hear nor just saying what would get him a quick sale), and genuinely cared about my happiness with my car purchase. I would highly recommend not only Hendrick Durham, but Joel, to my family and friends. My coworker is also looking to get a car, and I will definitely suggest this team.

Problem Date: 5/6/08 Sales Rep Gevin-Internet Sales Manager-Carl (?) After negotiating the price of a used car, a 2007 Pontiac G6 White, with dealer in person (spending over 2 hours at dealership), we were unhappy with final price of 14500. After arriving home (45 minutes away) we reconsidered and contacted dealer again. Agreeing to take the deal which was involving an OTD price, (including taxes, tags, title and processing fees) If dealer would honor the advertised trade value for our 2006 Toyota Tundra, valued at 19800 (trade in)retail 23+k. Manager Carl called to tell us that we should come back to the dealer, letting them appraise the vehicle and ensuring us they could meet payoff which was 19800. We said we would come in if it would NOT be a waste of our time ONLY. He assured us they wanted to make the deal, as they had just had a meeting with the president of the company earlier that day instructing the dealership to persue any deal that would be *green* for them. He assured me if I would drive all the way back to the dealership-they could complete this deal for us. So we set a time to be there at 6:30pm. We arrived and the car we were intending to purchase was not even prepared. We were asked to wait (about 45 minutes) as our vehicle was inpected by their appraisal team. We were then presented with a deal that was not at all what we were assured on the phone. The deal they proposed showed an itemized list for the Pontiac purchase-the quoted OTD price was incomplete, the tax line was left blank. NOT figured into our estimate. They trade compensation they offered was 16k, which was 3800 less than we were boldly led to believe the dealer would honor (by Carl? Over the phone). We were of course very unhappy with their offer as it in NO way resembled what we had discussed on the phone. I reminded Gevin of what had been promised and his excuse was that this gentleman we had spoken to had already left for the day. We of course, did not accept this deal. We left the dealership, and made it clear why we were leaving. This trickery played by the dealer cost us 70 miles on the vehicle we are trying to trade in, large amount of gas, and 3 hours of our time. The dealer was intentionally misleading in order to lure us back into their office, without producing the terms we were assured over the phone.
