Frustraing but Friendly

onAfter a 2-hour driver to Kolar, we were disappointed the part needed to be ordered and no future appointment was available for another month. Everyone was friendly. We received a call after two hours, saying the car was done for the day and we could pick it up. We returned to the dealership 15-20 minutes later and had to wait an hour because someone had gone to lunch and the car was still connected to diagnostics. And then the estimate jumped from $1200-$1500.

Horrible Stay WAY!

onWorst dealership ever. Walked after being ignored for 10 minutes. Finally had to ask for help. After being walked over to the sales managers. The first one laughed in my face. I will never go back here. They will treat you poorly.

How do you "forget" to do the scheduled repair work?

onToday I had made an appointment for more factory recall work and an oil change/tire rotation. When I picked it up, they "forgot" to do the recall work. So, instead of a 2 hour appointment, it will be 7 hours. I would stay away from Kolar if at all possible!

onShould have been suspicious when the salesman didn't know what the differences of the different trim levels were for the vehicle I was looking at. During the negotiations, he kept entering in different vehicles than the one I was interested in. They gave me a terrible trade-in price (which I was okay with to get rid of the vehicle) but then only gave me about 1/3 of that price on the final deal. Vehicle sold as new even though it wasn't and had 9 month old EXPIRED plates which they notified me after we signed the paperwork and they told me they had to add on $300+ for new tabs (that are only good for 3 months). During the set-up of Onstar, we did a diagnostic check and I got an email saying there was recall service needing to be performed. I was also promised a 3rd key at cost that the salesperson was going to order for me and I would have to pay for it. Kept asking salesman when it would be in and he kept on "checking on it". Finally after weeks of this, he states that it was my responsibility to order it. I would stay away from Kolar if at all possible!

Fair and Honest

onMy wife and I felt that Kolar's sale's staff made our purchase a low stress, very friendly and honest experience. Quick to answer any questions or concerns we had, particularly with the new technology in these vehicles. Our salesman Dave Speikers, was awesome! The negotiations felt fair and honest, always up front about everything. The facilities are extremely clean and new, especially the shop area. We will recommend Kolar to anyone and everyone!

Oil changed but forgot the details

onWe scheduled an oil change, had it done, I think they did it, but for whatever reason, they did not reset the Oil Change computer or put a new sticker in the window this time. How do I really even know they did one? They dropped the ball on their attention to the tiny details on this one.

low pressure sales environment

onWent in and looked at a car, had a complicated trade in situation, they couldn't offer the deal we were looking for so they didn't pressure us at all. Next day got a phone call, they had a better offer then we had even discussed the day before. Friendly environment and nice attention to detail.
