Fake prices posted online

I Visited the store in hopes to buy a used truck. I saw vehicle advertised at a certain price, but when I began speaking with a sales rep I found out that on average they added an additional $3k to each used truck on top of vehicle list price. With certain models I was told that number was higher. I feel like it should be illegal to advertise a vehicle at a certain price, and then tack on hidden fees. I hope this dealership one day learns these shady practices lose long term buyers.

Turned a veteran away...

I had such a great time back in November of 2018 when I bought my 2018 Ram 1500 Express from this location, with the help of Steve-O, whom I now know has moved on to newer adventures. As it stood until yesterday, March 27th, 2020, I have had loyalty to DCH Temecula. Every possible issue that came up back then, I was given several options to move forward, and was rewarded with a truck I value, and baby to this day. Imagine my surprise when I came back to have such horrible service given to me by Robert Traver, the Fleet/Internet Sales Manager. I came in on the afternoon of the 27th with the intent of buying a newer truck, which I was not overly picky about, as long as it met a couple easy pieces of criteria; I wanted to pay no more than $625/month, and it be better than my current Express option-wise, and I am still flexible on pricing, if it is worth it! To trade, I had my 2018 Bright White 1500 Express with just over 21K on the odometer, several additional options I have added through the year and some change, such as factory tow mirrors with T-Bracket that most miss adding on, and the upper glove box door. This vehicle has around $27K left to pay on it, which I know for a fact, I should be able to at least get $25K in trader, as they still sell for around $27K themselves (if you can find them with that low of mileage)! I was interested in the 0% APR deal that is going on, which was not a deal-breaker should I not qualify for. I and my wife were interested in a 2020 Warlock and Laramie, but I was open to literally anything. Robert did okay in pointing out a couple different trucks to us, but understandably, was also needing to worry about the whole social distancing thing, and I later found out he was working with another customer at the same time he was tending to my wife and me. We went inside so that my trade-in could be appraised and to have my credit check done, which meant a lot of waiting, to include while Robert was working with his other customer very intently. About 20 minutes later, Robert came back and basically told my wife and I that our credit was not what qualified for the 0% APR, and the trucks I were looking at would range around $1,000/month. This floored us, as our credit is good enough to refinance a home for a lower APR, but not for a vehicle? This makes ZERO sense! Robert then proceeds to basically wrap up all negotiations by handing all my documents back and key after hearing that we did not wish to place any money down, stating he wished he could help, but couldn’t. We left, to say the least! At no point did Robert offer to try to help, or to steer us to any vehicles that might come close, no alternatives in the used trucks, or even any step-down trucks from the ones we looked at, such as the Big Horns, which are almost $20K cheaper than the Warlocks and Laramies. We feel as he just gave up on us, and since we couldn’t get the big dollar rigs, it wasn’t worth his time. For this treatment, I can not refer DCH Temecula to anyone anymore, especially during this time when stimulating the market should be a big deal to have dealers work with customers. I feel that I will have better luck, and I have seen better luck through Lake Elsinore Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, which have offered to buy off my loan, and get me into something good once they get exactly what I’m looking for in… Sad, I did not even get a quote from Robert, nor did he let myself or my wife know how much my truck was in trade! I Miss Steve-O, and would love to come back, just don’t think it will happen after this sour taste.

2017 Ram Bighorn

I don't do a ton of posting but I have to tell you all about my experience with this auto dealer! I am 57 years old and I have bought sold many cars and trucks throughout my lifetime. I can honestly tell you that this was the most pleasurable, most hassle free auto buying experience that I ever had. From the moment I walked in the door, test drove the vehicle, negotiated an amazing price, and got through financing, the whole process took no more than an hour and a half. I was so surprised and I can actually say dumbfounded when they called my name to sign the paperwork and hand me the keys to my new truck. I kid you not an hour and a half they could not have been nicer, they could not have been more accommodating and concerned with my needs and my price range and they got me into the vehicle that I wanted! I drove all the way from Palm Springs to Temecula and Greg Carey the Fleet / internet sales manager had the truck set aside for me with my name on it so it wouldn't be sold until I got there. The truck was detailed, filled with gasoline and the paperwork was ready. All we had to do was agree on a price and I was out of there. Do yourself a solid and go see Greg and his team, and you'll have the best buying experience of your life I promise. Many many appreciative thanks to all the guys and gals there that made this such a pleasurable experience!

Disrespectful and Rude Sales Manager

I have owned my truck for 41 days and it has been in DCH Service Department for 33 of them. I purchased a new 2019 Ram Big Horn 4x4 on March 10th. When I went to drive it off the lot, the truck would not shift out of park. When it did finally shift into drive, THE TRUCK LUNGED FORWARD OUT OF CONTROL. I had to slam on the brakes to stop it. I went inside and told my salesman about the issue. He assured me the truck was fine and that if the issue happened again to contact him immediately. It was a Sunday and the service department was closed. The issue happened again the next day. I contacted my salesman, Dennis, and he asked me to bring the truck in right away. I dropped off the truck at 7:30am the next day. At the end of the day, David, from the service department contacted me to tell me my truck was ready. When I asked him what they found, he said that they could not recreate the problem and that it was probably a result of the torque converter not being full of transmission fluid. I took my truck home. The following Monday on my way home from work the issue happened again. I took a video of the problem to show the dealership. I planned to take it back into the dealership the next day. Tuesday morning the issue happened again when I was going to take the truck in. I took a second video. I dropped off the truck at the dealership explaining the issue again. This is four times this issue has happened, and the truck had less than 1000 miles. The following Tuesday (a week later) I was notified by David that my truck was ready. I was out of town and would not be back until Thursday. When I went into the dealership on Thursday, they informed me that they were unable to find the problem with my truck and that the issue could have been caused by me not shifting my truck correctly. What? Seriously? I explained to David that the truck was UNSAFE TO DRIVE and that their explanation was not good enough. He advised me to talk to the sales manager. I went and found the sales manager, Chris. I explained to him what the issue was. I explained to him the safety concerns. I asked him what could be done. He went to see what the reports from the service departments found. He came back and said that there were no indications of any problems and that there was nothing he was willing to do at the time. I asked him about the lemon laws. He rudely replied, I guess you better get a lawyer. I could not believe how disrespectful and rudely Chris treated me. I went to leave. Got in my truck and it would not come out of park. They had my truck for a week and could not find an issue. I go to leave and the issue is there. I call the service department over. The service manager came over with his lead mechanic. They were able to observe the issue. So they took my truck back into the service department. On April 6th I call to find out what was going on with my truck, they had had it for 2 and a half weeks. David tells me that they need an engineer to come in from the factory and that he will be there Monday. On Friday April 19th, they tell me my truck should be ready by the following Wednesday, April 24th. I am not holding my breath. I am completely beside myself that a dealership would allow this to go on. I am done with this dealership.

As shady as they come.

Buyer beware... They will try to add service plans, extended warranties, make you sign arbitration agreements, attempt to extend the number of finance months you agree to and tell you that they can get you a better finance rate if you buy their warranty. These guys are [non-permissible content removed]. If you must have one of their unreliable vehicles, stay on your toes when you go to sign the papers.

Unprofessional

Unfortunately I must resort to a review rather than pick up the vehicle I had committed to purchase. The dealership was extremely unprofessional and disorganized. I made a transaction to purchase a Jeep and was eager and waiting for it to be delivered. The day the vehicle was to arrive the salesman called me to say that he regretted to inform me that the vehicle, that I had the deal for, was leased to someone else. The reason given was that the other deal, which they honored, was 'mistakenly' never entered into the computer so my salesman did not know that two deals were made on the same Jeep. Now, instead of honoring my legitimate purchase, they could not offer me a solution. I clearly was just another lost deal and my business was not important enough to make it right. I passed on deals at other dealerships when I committed to the purchase a week ago and now I have to start over. Thank you for at least being consistent in being below expectations. Sales manager never bothered to call. PS: I had a Price promise from Edmunds.com which from day 1 they were bothered by it "Because the discount was too high".

What a Pleasant Surprise

Went yo DCH to look at new Dodge Grand Caravans and was pleasantly surprise with my salesman in finding a vehicle that would mainly suit transporting our two large Newfoundland. Jeff Stuber our sales consultant was very pleasant and worked along with the sales manager to get us into our new Van. We are very happy and satisfied with our experience. I would also be re-missed if I didn't say thank you to Jaime Ossa who worked some finance options which lowered our interest by one full point and also included Gap Insurance. This was a great experience with no buyers remorse

My son graduated college and had dreamed of buying a Jeep. We negociated with Dennis. A true professional and made my son's purchasing experience a pleasure. This was the most enjoyable time we have ever had buying a new vehicle. Along with Dennis, the finance director was efficient and a pleasure to work with too. I would highly recommend this dealership and Dennis if you want a honest and professional experience.

Misrepresentation of a vehicle sold

I ordered a new vehicle with xm Traffic navigation...when delivered this was not honored. On 2/22/15 my wife and I stopped at the DCH Dodge dealer. We met with Solomon (sales) and told him we wanted to buy a Dodge but ONLY if the vehicle had the tow package, rear camera and Navigation with LIVE TRAFFIC condition. He said they didn't have a car on the lot. I told him I would wait and I also told him a dealer closer to me would do a better deal. Solomon and his finance guy then said they located a car with my needs and they would get it to the lot if we made a deal. We agreed but I told them that only if the tow, camera and Navigation with live traffic came with the vehicle. They added such products to the vehicle and the vehicle would be delivered on Tuesday and the tow and navigation with LIVE TRAFFIC condition would be installed. On Wednesday the car was finally picked up and although the tow package was added, the camera is working the Navigation IS NOT working with Sirius XM TRAFFIC. I called Sirius and they told me I had to pay for the services. I paid the $46.00 fee and the TRAFFIC was added. The vehicle is still not working with live traffic. I took the Durango to DCH Temecula they had it there the entire day and they said the software was updated and it should be working. NOTHING is working the live traffic is not working. Sirius XM stated DCH Temecula should have installed the correct system which I paid for and they should have pre installed the TRAVEL LINK in the stereo. For the past three weeks plus, I have been fighting with DCH Dodge...They keep saying Sirius needs to download the travel link to the stereo not them. Sirius is stating the dealer did not put the correct system because they do not show the system of capable of receiving the travel link signal and the stereo itself does not have the pre-loaded icon. Today 3/9/15 I returned from a second DODGE dealer, this is Lake Elsinore Dodge, again the same problem, Sirius is to download the icon; however, there is no way Sirius can do this because all the research on the internet, Youtube and complaints located state DODGE is to have the pre-loaded Sirius XM icon in the navigation or Uconnect system. I made it clear to DCH Dodge of Temecula I wanted the navigation with TRAVEL LINK and they said they would add it. I told them if the SUV did not come with it, I want it and I would wait. They were quick to take my money but they are not keeping their word and as of today I still don't have the navigation that I paid for and their customer service is horrible since they keep bouncing me from one place to another and NOTHING is being resolved. Since the dealer kept ignoring me I researched the navigation system (8.4a) that came with the vehicle. I determined this is the wrong system, this system cannot accept the XM signal and I need the 8.4an system. I contacted DCH Dodge of Temecula and all I got was "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding", they offered a 2 year maintenance contract, or a refund for what I paid with Sirius or a $200 GPS with live traffic. This dealer misrepresented the SUV purchased, they stalled, they kept lying and they are not honoring the contract. They have now sold the contract to a bank and they stuck me with a vehicle we did not agreed on. I have contacted the California BBB, BBB sent my complaint to the dealer and they have failed to answer. I will also file a complaint with the DMV and with the California State Attorney's Office. This dealer should not get away with their misrepresentation of vehicles being sold.

Very Poor After Sales Experience

If you are looking for a dealership that will take care of you after your purchase, this is not the place for you. When you reach out with issues, the management does not return your calls. Worse yet, I discovered the General Manager apparently has a history of not calling his customers back. Would not recommend doing business here.

Great Experience!

We have bought four cars from DCH and all have been great experiences. Our recent purchase was a 2015 Dodge Charger SXT Rallye. We also purchased two Challengers and a Neon. Alfredo Villegas, Sales Consultant gave us an outstanding deal on the Charger. When we got to Finance Joanna McKenna the Finance Director was very nice and professional. We got a call the day after we purchased the Charger from Joanna and she got us even a better interest rate than what we already sign the contract for. She did not have to do that, that's what you call great customer service. I took the Charger in to have the Nav installed and to have a few paint chips repaired and Sarah Fulmer, Service Advisor greeted me promptly and was extemely helpful. And finally I received a call from Esteban Hernandez, Internal Service Advisor and he advised me what options I had for the paint repair. When I picked up the car the service that was performed was stellar, very happy all around with DCH Dodge of Temecula.

Stellar experience

I was having difficulty finding the required features of my ideal ram truck amongst the almost 15 dealers i searched. First I use Auto Nation, then Truecar.com but when I stumbled across DCH, I found the car and the lowest price. I negotiated a few changes and they met my price. When I arrived at the dealership the next day I was treated with courtesy and respect. The truck was waiting for me and all aspects of the transaction went smoothly and quickly. They gave me an online quote and honored it when i purchased the truck. Frankly I was surprised that it was so easy to purchase a vehicle as past buying experiences with other dealers usually became a nightmare. I am very please with my truck and with the entire experience I had this dealership. It took me three weeks to find this truck but only a few hours to complete the process. I have had several follow-up calls from my online sales representative at this dealership, concerned that everything is satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

Great Purchase Experience!

We recently purchased a used 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport from DCH Chrysler Jeep in Temecula, CA. The purchase experience was unlike any previous used automobile purchase we have made. John Rabe the Used Car Manager and his staff (including vehicle service personnel) were outstanding! Being unfamiliar with the Jeep Liberty vehicles, John and our sales representative, Glenn Auler, were very knowledgeable in helping us understand exactly how the Jeep Liberty would fit our needs and requirements. Their knowledge of the various features of the Jeep Liberty we were interested in purchasing was extensive and with their patient guidance, we decided Jeep would be exactly what we needed! The preparation of paperwork and final settlement process was very efficient and every person in the process was very considerate of our time. After receiving a thorough "introduction" to our vehicle, we were introduced to the Parts and Service personnel for future service needs. We can't recommend DCH Chrysler Jeep of Temecula, John Rabe, Glenn Auler and Andrew Field in Service more highly; we are customers "for life"!!

HORRIBLE Customer Service

My husband and I went into this dealership to trade in an old Jeep for a new one. After two days we finally settled on a deal and was told to come right in and everything would be ready for us to sign and to drive off the lot in less than an hour with the new car. Well we got there at 1:30 and had to sit and wait for the sales guy to get our information that he ALREADY had from the prior day. This sales guy even had to ask us how to spell simple words like "Cheif" etc. Then we were told to wait a minute and we would be meeting with the finance guy to sign the papers. About 3 1/2 hours later we were sitting with the finance guy signing papers. During the signing we found out we were not getting what we were told or the old jeep. Not only that but there were about 5 other discremences with what we were told. I proceeded to go in to talk to the original finance guy and while talking to him, the "GM" started to yell and scream at me. When everything was signed and finished we left and got in the new vehicle and I turned it on and realized the gas light was on. My husband went in and asked why the tank was empty and was told they dont put gas in the cars. After fighting for another 30min we got the dealership to give us $25 in gas (which doesnt give you much at all). On top of all the issues we had with the dealership, we got a call from them a week later stating they needed more information for financing becuase they "didnt have" the updated versions. I still believe they lost it. I was personally harrassed for three days being yelled at and being told I was not my husbands wife, and that I didnt care. I was personally offended by this and will never ever go back. I am trying to locate the number to a district manager, or the chrysler corporation. If you want to get a Dodge, Chrysler, or Jeep go SOMEWHERE else...This dealership IS NOT WORTH the hassel.

Stay Away!!!

What a horror story with this dealership. Went in to make a deal on a new car and turn in an old one. I found out almost 6 weeks later the deal they submitted to Chrysler was different. It took over three months and finally letters to their corporate office and Chrysler fix it all. But, the GM and the Sales manager who pretended to be the GM could care less about their customers. Very poor. After I wrote the letters, did they finally return calls. I am not sure how they got there 5 star rating but they are very sneaky. After Chrysler Corp got invloved everything fixed quickly, thank you. If you are still going to visit this dealership BEWARE.
