Worst buying experience and lack of communication

Lets start off with a few months back I purchased a 2021 f150 xlt from this ken ganley group.. my salesman was Seth. So I find this truck. Start communication with Seth about it. Ask him all sorts of questions and explained to him im a body guy and I don’t want a truck that has any paint work. Tells me how nice it is , nothing like that . Clean Carfax blah blah blah. So we make a deal on it. Send him a 500 dollar deposit. Was trying to get out there but super busy. They then said they would deliver it being that im a hour way. Ok sounds good. They bring it early evening on a cloudy day. I had people over and was in the middle of something when they brought it. Well that’s my fault but it’s a year old truck should be pretty mint. Next day nice and sunny. Start walking around it. Notice the tires are about wasted and horrible previous repair on the drivers front and rear door. Bad dirt in the clear and a weird hazy spot right in the middle of the drivers door. But then on top of it looks like a recent PDR and scratch right by the edge which was done after the parking lot spray job. So I start messaging Seth. I tell him I want to cancel the deal and for them to take the truck back. He gives me some Car salesman BS and kind of disappears for a few days and completely ignores my calls and texts. So I then call the used car manager and explain everything to him. Telling him I’ve been in the autobody business for almost 20 years and I clearly stated I don’t want a used car special (crappy paint work ) on a year old truck. He proceeds to tell me that since im a painter why don’t I just fix it. Well pay me. I just spent 50k on a truck so I don’t have to fix anything. Then I find horrible tape lines in the grill tape line across the face of the front bumper and more crappy PDR work. So there’s a right way and wrong way to paint cars. Car dealers like to use this crappy companies that come out and touch things up in the parking lot. NOT THE RIGHT WAY. The right way to repair a car is take apart the panel , remove trim , handles , molding and prep everything properly. When you don’t do that one the job looks like garbage. Two you will have a issue in a year or 2 with the clear coat starting to peal because nothing was prepped right for it to stick to. Then lets talk about a clean car fax. So Car Fax only. So Car Fax only works if there was a accident report, insurance claim or entered into the system. These dealers know this that’s why they have these companies that come out and do repair work. Keeps it off Carfax and the average customer doesn’t know this. So anyways we get into it a little bit and I just kind of let it go. Im extremely busy with some other stuff and just didn’t want to deal with the stress being that I recently had some major health problems. Then a few months goes by and I get a random text from Seth. They forgot to return my 500.00-dollar deposit. Great thanks for catching that now lets work on this other stuff. So he asks for pictures and everything . I send it to him. Then he ask for my CC number so he can return the deposit and work on those other things. Great I send my CC information via text to some guy that works for Ken Ganley like an idiot ( never do that ) I text him for updates. Nothing. Check my account Nothing . Text him again nothing. Then in the evening I get a random emoji from Seth and then oopps wrong person. Still nothing about the other question or pictures. Just opps wrong person. So here we are . I have bought over 40 cars in my life from dealers . This is bar far the worst experience I have ever had. And my first time ever leaving a bad review for anyone. From just lies and BS to the horrible communication, to “if youre a painter then fix it” to having a Ken Ganley employee ask for my CC and I gave it to him like and idiot and no response. It has been a fantastic representation of the Ken Ganley Auto Group.
