Lakeshia S

by Lakeshia on 01/21/2020

After finding out about tri city from a family member I decided to check them out. I’m so glad I did. The sales representative Kayla Favre was amazing and went over and above to get me in a vehicle I had my eyes on as well as the payment I felt comfortable with. I came down Monday to see what they had to offer and Tuesday morning Kayla was texting me with a better offer for me than the one I was told on Monday. I’m big on customer service and with her not once did I feel like she was being pushy or anything. I would suggest them to anyone looking for a vehicle or to trade their car in.

Rude negotiator

by JeepBuyer on 11/23/2018

Our salesman, Ike, was great...very helpful and easy to work with. However, when Travis, who searches for and builds specs for the vehicles, became involved we were sorely disappointed. When a price could not be agreed upon rather than shaking hands and letting us know he’d like our business if we change our minds, Travis abruptly walked out saying, “Well you won’t find a better price.” We were shocked at his rudeness. His attitude and demeanor lost the dealership our business. Our goal had been to keep our money in Rockingham County, but sadly we were unable to do so as we did find what we wanted at a better price.

Best dealership in town

by RichJohns on 05/11/2018

I am credit challenged did not have a lot of money and walked out of the dealership with a beautiful 2008 Dodge Ram 1500. This had to be the quickest and most painless transition into a vehicle that we ever had. I would recommend this dealership to everyone looking to purchase a car new or used they have earned our business for ever. Best ever so far that I have dealt with I will be back

MisLeading

by Wes on 01/18/2018

I visited this dealership on 9 Jan 18 and was not impressed; at all! First off, I completed a credit application through their website on this past Saturday and was contacted by the internet sales team to come and see the BMW 550i that I was interested in. I also recieved an email stating that I pre-qualified with my trade in, an 06 BMW 325i. Now, I live in Sumter, SC which is about 4hrs from this establishment. I expressed to their internet sales team that I didn't want to drive all the way up there if I wasn't approved. I was assured that wouldn't be the case and that I was over reacting. I was also told that the Finance Manager said that I was prequalified to trade my BMW for the 2008 BMW 550i. Once I provided proof of income and proof of residence, they will come back with a final approval, interest rate, and monthly payment, which I provided before I drove there. Now, I know that my credit isn't all that good, which I was upfront with the sales team/finance manager, but I drove there anyway because it was presented to me like I was going to leave with the car. I left at 0630hrs thatmorning and arrived there around 1030hrs. I met with Stephanie and she introduced me to Patrick, the quote unquote salesman. I test drove the car and we went to his office why they looked over my car. Now, KBB, which Patrick stated that their establishment use, values my car at $2400, I know this. He low balls me and offers me I think it was about $1050. I should've walked out then, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. All I gathered was that this establishment wanted me to put $2500 down, plus my trade in, for a $9500 car, which is ridiculous! Like I told them, I would've never taken off of work, drive 4hrs to waste my time. I even got my wife to agree and co sign for me if needed, and they still wanted me to put money down. If this is how they run their establishment, then I'm blessed that I didn't get the car. Other factors played apart as well, like the staff needs to practice confidentiality with their customer's. Constantly, the salesman displayed my business to where other customer's could hear. But, that's neither here nor there. I knew that my credit wasn't all that, which I expressed before coming there; I just wish that their guys would've been straight forward with me and saved me a trip. I thought that was the purpose of me completing a credit application. I wasted gas and time. Thanks for nothing. Stay away! The only positive that I did receive from them was a $100 for visiting. That's the only reason for the 1-star!
