Hometown Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

My wife and I stopped into Albion Motors on 03/05/14. We met a salesman named Fred and, I told him that my wife wanted to test drive the Wrangler Unlimited and the Cherokee Trailhawk to compare them. Well, Fred didn't even hesitate (even though it was about 5 degrees F and snowing!) Fred got the cars warmed up and waiting up front and, did a very good job of explaining the features of the cars and the differences between them to us. While my wife was out driving, I figured i was going to get the usual high pressure sales pitches and extra warranty speech ect. Nope, Fred actually seemed interested in making sure we got the vehicle we wanted and were happy with. No pressure. I found out a little later in the conversation that our salesman was Fred V, the owner of the dealership. Even though we rolled into the dealership in our old beat up Yukon and we were wearing our work cloths, Fred treated us like we were rich and looking to buy a luxury car. My wife decided she liked the Wrangler and negotiating the price took about 3 minutes. Fred just knocked a big chunk off the sticker price. Done. Fred didn't have the color we wanted on the lot but, he got one from a dealer in Ohio within 24 hours. I've bought several new cars over the years and, this was the first time I actually enjoyed the experience. To top it all off, Fred got us financed at an interest rate almost 1 percent lower than our credit union!
