2017 Chevrolet Suburban Premier

Wesley was great! We definitely bought our new Suburban from Classic Chevrolet because of him! The rest of the team there was excellent as well! Classic will definitely be our first stop for our next vehicle purchase!

Cadillac Purchase ok, but know your numbers

The Cadillac CTS is the second new car we have purchased at Classic (A 2010 Tahoe LTZ was number 1). This time was not quite as much fun as buying the Tahoe, so we will critique you a little less than a 10 on your scale. We shopped cars at your competitor in Port Arthur. Your Sale Mgr. Chris had no problem beating any price offered in Port Arthur and was a pleasure to deal with. Our salesman made good efforts and put up with our wanting to drive several cars and followed up on his promises. Your Finance guy started out providing a financed price that was totally unreal. It took a while to figure out that he was including an extended warranty into the pricing, without being asked to do so. We were very explicit in our request for rock-bottom financing. We did not have a trade-in. This is the way Finance guys successfully awarded themselves a bad name years ago. If we want an extended warranty, we will ask for one. If the dealership wishes to give us a sales pitch for one, as our local Bmw dealer did, go for it. Do Not automatically include an extended warranty into a finance arrangement and hit us with some outlandish financing figures, without us being in complete agreement that we wish to purchase same. If you wish to discuss an extended warranty, please make plain that you are talking about either GMPP or a 3rd party (ALLY) plan BEFORE financing is arranged or discussed. You guys are too slow. Forget the psychology, when we came in the door, we needed a new car, since our Bmw had just been totalled. We were going to buy one that day, even if we had to go to Demontrond to do so. Quit wasting time and keeping people waiting for hours to make a decision. We were in the dealership for over 4 hours. You already know the price you are willing to accept. Your salesmen need to know your inventory as well as Chris knew it that day. Chris made the sale happen. You just about lost our business at the financing stage due to the 'Extended Warranty' issue.Chris and Kevin in Sales bailed Finance out. By the way, the CTS has turned out to be a fine car for the price we paid, so even after cooling our heels for several hours and being subjected to the financing fiasco, we feel good about our purchase. I won't tell you how much money the extended warranty (Platinum Plan by GM) can be had for by shopping around, except to say the savings from a dealer up North would pay our 93 Octane bill for several months. Making a profit on an extended warranty is fine. Getting scalped is something else.

My Classic SE Texas Buying Experience

My experience started with Kalon Jones, Bob Grusecki, Mark Cricchio, Holly Guilbeau, Kenny Lewis, and went on to Tambi Powell, and Trena Keyes: and numerous other names that I either cannot remember or did not meet who helped; the receptionists, the man who helped take a picture of the VIN number w/his phone of my beautiful trade in "YELLOW" truck, w/checkered board swirl, the man who I never got to meet who drove over 100 miles and picked up my new truck, the young man who detailed my beautiful new 'COPPER' truck and the young man who brought me the loner car in service. All members of your Classic SE TX get five stars and a #10. But, let me say if it had not been for Kalon Jones' big grin, smile, no BS personable attitude, and follow through word, standing on the steps there at the main building; I would not be the happy proud owner of the most beautiful Sunset/Orange truck in the world :-)!!! Mr. Grusecki was awesome in person and dealings all the way!!! This dealership is a family and team that supports each other in the best examples and finest team efforts that you rarely see out in the work world today. I credit Mr. Ready, Mr. Case, and Mr. Toupes for being the family team leaders that make this dealership the shining example that is by far unequaled. Your dealership appears to run by the age old saying that goes "It Takes Everyone To Run A Ship" :-)!!! Thank You for your friendly smiles, kindness, great attitudes and attention to details:-)!!!! What a pleasure!

I was told at another dealership that the truck I wanted didn't exist. I drove to Classic to look at your inventory. CJ McCown walked out into the rain to talk to me. I told him what I was looking for and agreed it was an unusual request but would look for me. In 15 minutes he found it. The dealership that had it wasn't very cooperative but CJ and Bob made sure that I got my truck. This was my first new vehicle and it was a very good experience. I have purchased vehicles for my Dad and It always felt like a battle. Your team went above and beyond and never tried to sell me something I didn't want. They could have easily said it didn't exist and tried to sell me something in your inventory. Because they didn't you have a loyal customer that will tell his many friends about Classic Bmt. Thank you for making my truck buying experience a pleasure.

Making our baby girl's dreams come true

John was an excellent salesman!! He was honest, direct and his communication was very professional!! We normally shop at a different Chevrolet dealership closer to our home but I can tell you now that we will NEVER go anywhere other than Classic again!!! Couldn't be happier with our purchase and our service!!

My buying experience with Classic Chevrolet, Beaumont, Texas

Mr. Chris Parker was the sales rep for me. It was a very long day but he was supremely patient with me, walking me through various options I was considering. Chris was very thorough and knowledgeable. Chris was a joy to work with and is a definite asset to Classic Chevrolet.
