Parks Chevrolet Augusta

After a recent divorce I went to Parks to purchase the first vehicle I have ever purchased alone. I told the sales person I was there for a test drive. She was a good at talking. Two things I did not like...they jacked up the interest rate...and I'm ashamed to admit I did it, asked me to sign a piece of paper (scratch paper) saying the what the payments would be if I agreed to buy the car. Once signed the sales person congratulated me on my purchase. I informed her I had not purchased anything and I was under the understanding she wanted me to sign the paper to show her manager I had seen the possible payment. Once called on their bluff the manager came in, brought the interest rate way down, talked around me wanting to address why I they had tried to intimidate me by signing a piece of scratch paper. I walked out. To bad for them. My husband had previously purchased a Town and Country 2002 Chrysler van and I had been very happy with the vehicle.
