Great warranty work

DECENT PEOPLE BUT MISLEADING OIL CHANGE ADVERTISEMENT

MILITARY PLEASE READ. The dealership was way better then ValMark of New Braunfels where I bought my last car. My sales agent Matthew Delgado was really nice and knowledgeable. The process was way faster then most dealerships even for a Saturday. The finance process was pretty good just didn't receive information on how to cancel any extra warranties purchased. The Lifetime Oil Change for Military is misleading though. It is actually only 2 per year and up to 20 total oil changes overall. Check the website for Military Oil Changes as I can't do attachments on here.

My experience at Cavander

My salesman was Javier Perez, when I showed up someone came out to greet me and offered to help. I declined and said I was there for Javier since I had been communicating with him via email. He said he would go and let him know. Well… 20 minutes later Javier never came outside. We went inside and I had to tell them again who I was there for… he still never came to greet me or let me know he’d be with me in a few. Finally, after being asked if I needed help for the third time Javier came to greet us. I told him that I was interested in and that I was sure this was the vehicle I wanted. He then asked me to wait in the waiting area and that he would send me information via email. He sent me the financial application… not once did he ask how I would be paying. We were paying for the full amount of the vehicle… not financing. I had to look for him once again to let him know it’ll be paid for and I don’t know if he trying to be funny but he then makes the remark “we’ll just throw money in my face” my response, is this guy serious?? Finally, things started moving and all of a sudden I was respectfully being called ma’am. I had to look for Javier and ask other salesman if they could find him multiple times, more then five or six times. Not only was this an issue but I was under the impression I would receive the $7000 Cavander discount on top of the Black Friday deal of $1500 from the hours of 9am-10am. I don’t believe I ever received the discount because there was only a $6000 on paper… this guy was not promising, he was very unprofessional, not very helpful, was very pushy and a bit of a snob to be honest. It was a terrible experience and I was there for four hours not to mention it was an uncomfortable four hours considering that I am eight months pregnant. When my father showed up he did ask him what he wanted to drink and he said if he has something with flavor, Javier responded that they only had water… Come on guy, the man’s dropping $40+k and you couldn’t even pull out some change to get the man a soda from the vending machine or something? I mean I would of. I’m going to be honest, there was multiple times I wanted to ask for another salesman but I wasn’t sure how that’d work out. He was lucky that I knew exactly what I wanted and I wasn’t leaving until I got it, my only regret was not asking for another salesman help because all the other salesman were being so kind and really helping other people. This guy was just terrible. For sure, worst first experience I’ll say that. The guy or much asked me to lie and say that he introduced me to service and showed me all about the vehicle, he never did. I was never introduced to service. My advice, go with anyone else, everyone else was pretty kind and helpful.

In this dealership we don’t Trust

I'm absolutely livid and utterly disappointed with the sales team at this dealership. Without a doubt, this has been the most abysmal dealership experience I've ever had to endure. Picture this: I embarked on a grueling 4-hour drive, investing not only my precious time but also my energy, just to negotiate a deal on a car. After what I thought was a successful negotiation, I was asked to return on Monday to finalize the paperwork. But what transpired next is nothing short of a betrayal. The dealership had the audacity to call me, only to deliver the infuriating news that they had sold the very vehicle I had invested so much time, effort, and emotion into securing. It's beyond belief, the audacity of their actions. I had diligently provided them with every document they required, and in a show of commitment, I even returned to the dealership on the same night, ready to sign on the dotted line. However, I was nonchalantly brushed aside and told to come back on Monday, as if it were a minor inconvenience, despite the proximity to closing time. This level of unprofessionalism, deceit, and disregard for a customer's time and trust is not just maddening; it's downright exasperating. I'm seething with anger and absolutely fed up with this entire ordeal. This cautionary tale should serve as a stern warning to any prospective customers considering dealing with this dealership – beware, because your trust here means nothing, and your precious time will be wasted.

Horrible experience

First, it starts off by not being informed that you would take at minimum 48 hours to diagnose the issue with my vehicle. Then, we are called 40 mins after we leaves asking us if we want to sell our car to you. You haven’t even informed we what is wrong with the car, but you want to buy it. Next, we heard nothing from you all for three to four days. We tried to call and never received a phone call back. Finally, we hear from you all after calling no less than 10 times. This is Horrible, with a capital H service. My expectations are much higher, and I certainly don’t expect someone to ask if I want to sell my car before they tell me what is wrong with it. We will not be coming back, and to be honest this dealership would be the last I sell my vehicles too.

Cavender GMC

I had a great experience with Cavender. I have been looking for a truck for several months now, including other brands. I chose Cavender GMC because of the quality of the truck and the staff at Cavender. I first came into the dealership and met with Clay. Clay was very impressive with his knowledge of the product and the way he showed me each detail of the trucks we were looking at. I was then contacted by John over a text and he was telling me about a few truck so i said let me come in a see the trucks and talk with you. I walked in and was met by Clay he said he had been promoted and John would be able to show me what I wanted to see and answer all the questions I had. After looking at a few trucks and driving two of them I decided to talk numbers. Shortly after we started talking numbers we made a deal. I needed to pick up the truck the next day so I came back the next day as planned and found the truck ready to go and the finance paperwork ready for me to sign. A few hours later I was on my way home with a great looking truck. Thanks to all for a great experience.

Faulty battery causing start issues

Not a one day service

Appointment was set early in the morning, all parts were available, but due to lack of tech personnel I had to get a rental. Tony Perez explained the situation and has always been very professional. Thanks Tony! Website should give a warning that car might have to stay overnight or from Friday to Monday due to lack of tech personnel 🥲

Yukon XL AT4 Order Arrived Very Quickly

I might have just been lucky, but I was able to order a custom build the Yukon XL AT4 and the whole process took no more than a couple months I waited 6 months on a Chevy Z71 Suburban but finally gave up and went to Cavender GMC and ended up with a better vehicle anyway

Easy Buying Process

We purchased my wife’s vehicle from Cavender Buick GMC about 8 years ago & have had it serviced there ever since. We were in for an oil change yesterday and wound up browsing the lot. Sales rep Juan Castro understood we weren’t necessarily looking for a new vehicle but offered his assistance should we change our minds. We wound up seeing a beautiful new 1500 AT4 on the lot and he took us for a test drive. We were hooked. He quickly got us a reasonable offer on our trade, found us some great financing options, and we drove off the lot with it a few hours later. Santiago in financing was extremely helpful and efficient as well. A great buying experience & highly recommended.

Service Center setting the bar

Quick drop off, quick completion, very communicative along the way letting me see causes and repairs of my issues. Only downside was the lack of loaner vehicles that are supposed to be available per my service contract. Otherwise staff is friendly, location is clean and services were prompt.
