Great Car Experience!

We live in Chicago and found a car from Van Horn listed on Auto Trader. We called and ended up working with Alyssa Hablewitz, who was wonderful! She was so professional, honest, and helpful - as was everyone we encountered. We were nervous about driving so far and the outcome, but it was well worth it. The price was what we discussed and the car was in impeccable condition. We would highly recommend Alyssa and Van Horn!

My wife and I had the most incredible experience at Van Horn Hyundai. After walking away from a disappointing negotiation at the car dealership around the corner, I had little hope when I walked into Van Horn. However, after five minutes of working with Jim Rauhat, my hope was restored. He offered an exceptional price and provided exceptional service up to and after the sale. I will definitely return to see Jim for my future automobile needs.

This is the 3rd car we purchased here. I've had great experiences each time! The service dept is quick to respond to questions and the sales people make a point to check in after you've had your vehicle to see how things are going. I've had bad experiences elsewhere and will always recommend Van Horn Hyundai to people who ask. As long as I live here, they will have my business!

Good, but not best

Van Horn Hyundai is a good place to get a car as they talk to you through the whole process. i just recently bought my first car through them and they were pretty good there. The only issue I have had with them is once I bought the vehicle I found a minor problem with the vehicle's rear window (the same day) and some other minor things popped up that weren't there while at the dealership. I tried contacting them about these issues and they have not messaged or called back.

Amazing Experience

I was dreading looking for a new vehicle but am ecstatic about the decision to visit Van Horn Hyundai Mazda! Before I even stepped into the building, I was greeted outside by the Sales manager and a salesman welcoming me to the store and directed me where to go inside. I worked with Freddy and he listened to the things I needed in my next vehicle and surprised me when he pulled up a 2016 Elantra! Freddy was friendly, walked me through the features of the vehicle, explained everything thoroughly, and continually checked in to make sure I was happy throughout the transaction. Shout out to Mike Tasche and Greg Fencl as well! They introduced themselves, congratulated me on my purchased and also asked how my experience was with the Hyundai group. It was more than I had expected and was happy at how fast everything took from start to finish! THEY KNOW CUSTOMER SERVICE! He truly went above and beyond to make my experience and wonderful one and I left with nothing but great things to pass on about how they do business at this store! This was definitely one of the best car buying experiences I've had and I will be a forever customer to them. Emily was up beat and fun after my purchase and walked me through service to make sure I knew exactly where to go for my oil changes. If you're looking for a vehicle, Hyundai is the way to go!

Buying new car is easy here

We worked with Jim and when I told him ahead of time of our needs, he had a car in mind so we didn't have to spend a lot of time searching for a car. The process was seamless and the whole sales team worked well together to expedite the paperwork process. We had a specific limit for payment and they worked really hard to meet that requirement. Took the car home the same day. There was a minor issue with the car but the dealership immediately took care of the issue including arranging a loaner car even though there was none officially available.

Awesome Experience, Zach was just great

Zach was just great. We walked in with our minds set on a 2012 lincoln MKZ. He answered any questions we had about the vehicle, Trading in my truck was very easy, I got a great price. They gave me over $2500 more than the other dealership I had contacted. I bought my avalanche at Van Horn, and now I've bought my new lincoln at Van Horn. Would recommend this dealership to anyone. Financing was fast easy, we were happy with the payments, price, and trade in we got. The only issue we had was with the car itself the driver seat didn't move, but they gave us card saying they will fix this issue for free and that was good enough for me. The car was absolutely beautiful, the service was fantastic, all the employees were extremely friendly, Fred the finance guy was awesome also was very fun to work with. Over all it was a great experience. I have now bought my last 2 vehicles there and I don't think i will ever go anywhere else. I would drive from out of state if need be for this quality of service.

Bought a car from them last spring 2012 mazda 6,when we went to test drive it it wouldn't start. They jumped it and we took it for drive loved the car. Shut it off after drive wouldn't start again so we made offer to buy car if they put new battery in. They agreed do did paper work and drove car home thinking we had new battery. First cold spell car didn't start checked battery and it had bad cell called Van Horn to ask about warranty on battery and was told by service department they never put new one in. Thought we deserved new one like we were promised they told us nothing they would do for us. Salesman admits he remembers the deal about putting new battery in. But nothing they could do now. When a business promises you something and admits they didn't do it,it says a lot about them would not refer anyone to there dealership.

Joe helped me buy a great certified used vehicle. He constantly wanted to do more for me and make my experience the best possible. He was not your typical pushy salesman and their finance manager was excellent also, had us signing and out in a couple of minutes. Just bought a 2014 Kia Sorento from Jim a few days ago. This was my second time there and I've been searching for 2 months for the right vehicle. I had about given up hope when Jim, knowing how particular I was, found a car that was perfect for me. From the very first phone call to Crissy, down the the level of service I was very pleased. They were all very professional yet personable. It made a daunting car buying task a little more pleasant. I would definately recommend them to anyone.

Great shopping experience This is our 4th vehicel from this dealership. We needed a vehicle and we chose this dealership because of the service and help we had before. We looked online and found a few used cars we wanted to look at and when we came to our appointment, Fred and Gina Marie really helped us. They found us a newer car then we had even considered and it was in the price range we were needing. The car is great and we love it. We will be coming back with this vehicle to trade in and get a new car at this dealership. They are friendly and very helpful.

Francis was great to work with. Very patient, didn't try to sell me more car than I needed, followed up after I got the car to see if I had questions, explained features of my car and very friendly. Very up front about the good and bad features of the different vehicles. I was the one purchasing the car, not my husband and Francis spent time working with me instead of directing everything to my husband. Fianance department, not so much. Added things to my purchase without telling me that I was being charged for them. Not impressed wtih that tactic. Had to have things taken off that I didn't want. Read everything before you sign.
