Making appointments on line is pointless!

I made an appointment to have a recall performed on line on the dealer's website. I included all the info about the vehicle, the recall #, etc. I arrived for the appointment after arranging for time off work (and driving for 50 minutes) to be told the parts hadn't been ordered, and that I shouldn't have used the on line appointment scheduler. How is one supposed to know that? Doesn't anyone screen the on line appointments to see if parts might be needed and follow up? What's the point of allowing on line appointments if they're only good for an oil change or tire rotation? IF APPOINTMENTS MADE ON LINE ARE ONLY GOOD FOR A CERTAIN TYPE OF APPOINTMENT, YOU SHOULD SAY THAT, AND SAVE CUSTOMERS EXTRA TRIPS AT THEIR EXPENSE.

Alderman's has always treated me with respect. The body shop has done a great job fixing my car. The service department is very quick to make appointments, get the job done right and listen to what I want done. I love working with Alderman's because they make everything very easy. The service to my vehicle is always top quality... My experience at the service counter tho, is a different story, I should not have to do there job for them, they should know what they are talking about before they speak. (ATTITUDE/People skills)

Very knowledgable about products, features, price, and financing. Good teamwork with customer focus. The facility was well organized, clean, and customer parking was available. The service team is top notch and came out to check on how my last service visit was doing. Aldermans doesn't just want the initial sale, they work to make a relationship.

I should have been sold better tires in the first place; not just tires that would be so so for the winter season. I'm definitely not thrilled about that so I went in to see what my options were. I had no appointment but service looked at my vehicle anyway. They measured my tires and assured me the amount of tread, although not great, would last me through the season with 4wd and would definitely pass inspection. They gave me several pricing options for new tires if I did want to purchase new ones and gave me a voucher for a free truck wash. Although I'm not thrilled about the tread on the tires that I was sold just 3 months ago with my truck, I am happy that I was welcomed in and that the service team took the time to care and research options for me.
