Had car for 3 days and no repairs were completed

To make a long story short, I took my car in for repairs on a Wednesday morning (I was told they would need a my car for a couple of days), and by the time Friday rolled around, none of the repairs had been completed. Mind you, one of the repairs was an issue with my brakes as they kept squealing, and they (Gene Messer Hyudai) supposedly replaced the pads in January of this year. So I pretty much rented a car for 3 days for nothing since Gene Messer left my car parked for 3 days and did nothing to it, nor communicated to me that they wouldn't be able to do the repairs in the amount of time told to me originally. Such a waste of time and money.

Ivan was my salesman snd he took care of me from the first phone call. Other dealerships tried to add on and drive up the price $5,000 because of the high demand. We had to wait a while for our car to come in, but it came in ahead of schedule and Ivan stayed in touch until it did. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explanatory. Great experience! Even checked on me the next couple of days to see if I had questions. First rate!

The Best Customer Service!

Glen was an excellent salesman and he made it easy for me to pick my Hyundai Accent! Unfortunately, 6 days later I was hit and my new car was totaled. Glen immediately secured another car for me, sent me a card and checked up on me. I HIGHLY recommend Glen Newsom, he is not your average cars salesman!!

If you don’t know about cars you better learn

If you do not know much about cars it’s best you better get to knowing. I am not one that knows much about cars but purchased my car from gene messer and trust them to be the one to service my car. They told me that I needed four new tires and that it would come with a free warranty. I took their word for it and paid money and got it. Everybody I talked to said I paid way too much for them tires. Now they said I need two new tires which my car doesn’t go anywhere but locally and there are people who got there tires before me, drives to Dallas and San Antonio and their cheaper tires are still good. I truly feel like I got hoodwinked but hey love and learn. I wouldn’t recommend if they are clueless about cars like I am. If they know about cars then I feel like I would recommend them because they gon na know if something is fishy or not

Man of his word

I recently leased a kona , had an issue with a part coming off the car , needed to get it replaced. Was told by Logan ( sales rep ) that he would help me with the cost as I have felt with him for years with repeat business. When I went to get the out of service it triple the amount that we had orginally negotiated. He immediately came over to service department and told me I'll take care of it . 2 minutes later I was on my with orginal price we agreed on . Logan is a man of his word and stands behind what is promised. Thank You

Walked into the dealership told Katie what I wanted and before the evening was over I had bought a new car! No haggling and they gave me a deal that I couldn't refuse. This is my second Santa Fe to buy from Gene Messer in Lubbock, I've had good experiences each and every time I've stepped into the dealership. I bought a car a couple months back from Jeremy over here! He's a super helpful guy! I really appreciate that he didn't really try and stray me from the car I wanted in any way, but helped explain everything about it and looked for the best deal he could get me. Job well done! The car is fantastic and I really appreciated the customer service he and the rest of the dealership expressed that day. I really dislike going to dealerships based on past experiences but this was definitely a pleasant trip!

The service department was excellent. I got there 30 mins before closing and they were able to fit me in, I asked to get tires rotated but after they gave me the 28-point inspection they didnât see the need so it saved me money. The oil change and the car wash were above and beyond expectations.
