Deception with a Capital D.

I recently Tried to purchase a 2016 Toyota Camry from the Mac Hail Toyota dealership, League City website . I went in for a test drive and everything seemed to be ok. My salesman was very nice, but he was new. After talking they made me an offer and I told them I would have to think about it overnight. After I got home I reviewed the web page that had this car on it again and checked the VIN to make sure they were the same. They were. I got a Car Fax report on the car and it showed it had been in a collision. DECEPTION 1 - The description on the website said it was a one owner car and was not in any accidents. After talking to my salesman the next day he said that must have been a misprint. I asked my salesman also to have the paper work for the Certified Preowned program it showed this car was eligible for on the website. He then called me back and told me that the car was not a Certified Preowned vehicle as it showed it to be on the website because it was involved in a rear end collision. DECEPTION 2 I told him that because of that I no longer wanted the car. He then said he would talk to his boss and get back to me. The salesman later called me back to explain that the car was certifiable that it was in the wrong folder. He then explained to me that it would cost me additional money to have the car certified. After telling him how sad it was that a person has to deal with deceptive car salesman, I told him the deal was off and I would come by and get my deposit.

With the help of Kurt Sheets, Rey Yero and Carlos Torres made this the best experience of now the fourth Toyota that I have bought new over the years. Professionalism and friendly service was fantastic. I highly recommend them.

Excellent Car Shopping Experience

After my last car-buying experiences, I really dreaded the thought of going through it again. My anxiety was apparent, but Alex made the shopping enjoyable and the process was incredibly smooth, even with trade-in. He had or found an answer for all of my questions. The location is convenient and the rest of the staff seems friendly. I will be back for service and will update then. =)

Best Salesman Ever

Normally, I save up and pay an inexpensive used car (cheap) but I had so much trouble with my Taurus, I decided to go to a dealership and purchase a certified used car. Gerald West was the best. He took control. He found a car within my budget. We test drove it and I fell in love with it. From there it was easy peasy. He took down my information and all I had to do is set and wait until all the paperwork was done. I was so relieved. I dreaded the hassle but there was absolutely NONE. If you are looking for a new or used car, do yourself a favor and see Gerald West. Believe you will not regret. Thanks, Gerald.

My husband and I went in to buy a RAV4. We had discussed a price with the internet manager. Alex, the sales person was great, kind, wonderful. We asked him to ask his manager to remove one fee. We were about to agree to pay the fee but the manager was no condescending and abrasive, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Never will I recommend anyone go to Mac Haik unless they want to be treated poorly. We will end up paying more for our car, but we would rather do that than give our money to a place that treats people badly.

Mac Haik Toyota's Quinton Alderman

I am happy to say that I have just had a great experience purchasing a 2015 Highlander from Quinton Alderman at Mac Haik Toyota in League City. Quinton is a very personable, knowledgeable, absolutely no pressure, honest and to the point salesperson. He made the process so easy that it was enjoyable. I wasn't sure I wanted a Highlander or Rav4 when I went in, and Quinton took the time to have me drive and inspect both models. Once I decided on the Highlander, Quinton showed me all of my options and was very patient with me while I decided on every detail. They didn't have the car on the lot, but within just one day, Quinton located the vehicle I was looking for and had it delivered the very next day. I have never had a car salesman take the time to actually get to know me, answer all of my questions and concerns, and help me find the exact car I needed and wanted without going overboard. It has been a genuine pleasure working with Quinton, who stayed with me from the minute I walked in the door until I drove away in my new car... and even afterward checking to see if it was everything I'd hoped for. I sincerely recommend requesting Quinton to help with your car shopping needs.
