Great deal, wonderful saleman

Didn't really expect to buy a vehicle the day we went to look. We had been on the lookout for about a year and just wasn't finding a vehicle we liked. Moritz had an Equinox that appealed to us, was very clean and priced right. Our salesman was very honest, no pressure and worked hard for us when there was an issue with getting the tag for our state, we bought it out of state. The vehicle has served us well and we are happy with it.

2018 Chevy Equinox

Joe Rentfrow is the salesman who took such good care of me. He was recommended to me by my sister, who has purchased two cars from him and he lived up to everything she said about him. From my first contact with him on the phone to our final handshake, he was fantastic. He is very warm, personable, very knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable and like we already knew each other. There was absolutely no pressure and no game playing; what a breath of fresh air. In addition, Monica the receptionist is a ray of sunshine. She was also quite friendly and makes you feel welcome and at ease. This was by far the very best and most pleasant car buying experienced that I have ever had.

We were truly blessed to have met Tony Gutierrez during our recent experience buying our 2017 Chevy Suburban. He helped us learn everything there is to know about our Suburban and was very prompt in answering our questions before we drove 5 hours to get to Moritz. He is truly a one-of-a-kind agent who never made us feel pressured into buying. He was a wealth of information and delivered in a kind, educating manner. We will definitely be referring family and friends to Tony and Moritz Chevrolet in the future. We were very fortunate to have him help us.

Greatly Disappointed

Initially my family and I had a bad experience at Moritz. We were trying to find a family car and were treated rather poorly by an employee there. He couldnt find any of the vehicles, he made rude remarks about my son and wasted our whole day. We ended up looking at other dealerships and the car we wanted ended up being at Moritz so my husband went back without my son and I. Thanks to the review I had written they relocated the employee to another department where he could be more successful and Peter stepped in to help my husband. Peter was amazing. The GM Dick was amazing. We had a few set backs with financing and they kept helping us and made sure we got the right car and right deal. Nate in financing was also fantastic. He was kind, he got us out of there quickly. And the three of them really gave us exceptional customer service and I mean exceptional. We had been to a ton of different dealerships and no where else were we treated so well. It's funny that our worst experience and best one were at the same dealership. But if you are buying used asked for Peter. He will help you stay within your budget and get you your dream car. We couldn't have asked for a better guide in this ordeal or for someone who was more willing to help us with a smile on his face. I would go back again.

I purchased a 2015 2LT Camaro from Moritz on early mornign November 9th. I originally wanted to wait to get the 2016 model, but other circumstances made me have to compromise for the 2015. However, I had done my research for at least one year and knew what decor and options I wanted and was willing to bend on some. I was greeted by Michael, but after he found my name in the computer and that I was talking with Derrek a few months earlier about the 2016, I was then re-introduced to Derrek again. I was a hard negotiator for the pricing I wanted. They threw in some already dealer installed items, and items I wanted (striping/floormats), but it wasn't installed at the time, they went halves on. I informed them that If I was to buy that day, I wanted to have the car with me at work no later than 12:45 since I had to clock in at 1pm. After all was said and done, I arrived at work with Derrek following myself and another sale member to my employer. I've heard horror stories from people that have been at dealerships all day working with the salesmen and sales managers to get what they wanted, but I really like the service that I've received. I'm happy with my sales experience, and the service department on the installation of my stripes and floor mats. I'd recommend Derrek and the Moritz dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle from them.

They will tack on a premium for nitrogen filled tires. It has been proven this does not add any benefits to the vehicle. Only a way to collect more money from you.

Good deals... Great Experience

The overall experience was pretty good. I was able to come in on a Friday and look at the vehicle i wanted. Test drive it and then be able to discuss trade-in values. Before the end of the day i was driving out of the dealership with my new vehicle and feeling good about the overall experience. Though it was a little tough to try and get some extra rebates, the salesperson was highly knowledgeable and courteous. I felt like i got a relatively good deal. The vehicle was exactly what i wanted. I would return to Moritz (already have for accessories) and would recommend them to friends and family. Keep up the good work!
