Warning! Angel's Auto Group is Defrauding Consumers!

by edward_w on 01/11/2017

Angel's Auto Sales fraudulently sold me a used vehicle. They sold me 2011 Nissan Versa with 81,319 miles, and claimed the VIN was: 3N1BC1CP7BL****** (last digits blocked for privacy) (the VIN of a 2011 Nissan Versa). At the time of sale, they claimed the vehicle had never been in an accident to their knowledge. When the transmission died, I took the vehicle to a genuine Nissan dealer to get the transmission repaired with the warranty. The dealer explained that this was not possible because the vehicle was not a 2011, but actually a 2007 Nissan Versa and was no longer in warranty. The mechanic showed me how the vehicle had obviously been wrecked, probably totalled as the vehicle had many parts under the vehicle pretty mangled, many parts mis-matched, some not even designed for a Versa, and none of the body panels matched. He showed me how the car had been poorly repainted metallic blue to match the supposed vehicle color. They even pulled a CARFAX vehicle history report for me and showed me how the vehicle had been totalled in 2012 and at the time of the accident had over 129,000 miles on the odometer. The stamped metal VIN plate shows the actual VIN: 3N1BC13E07L****** (last digits blocked for privacy) , which is a VIN of a 2007 Nissan Versa, that CARFAX shows is a salvage vehicle still in a junkyard. I am reporting Angel's Auto Sale's for fraud and seeking a refund of $7,285.35. These are the counts of fraud: 1. They sold me a 2011 Nissan Versa--it is, in fact, a 2007 Nissan Versa. 2. They registered the vehicle with the VIN of a 2011 Nissan Versa. 3. The contract and the odometer itself read 81,319 miles at the time of purchase--CARFAX proves the odometer read over 129,000 miles at the time the vehicle was declared a total loss in 2012. 4. Angel's Auto claimed that the vehicle had not been in an accident to their knowledge--it was totalled in 2012. 5. The vehicle they sold me is a salvage vehicle--Angel's Auto is not licensed to sell salvaged vehicles. 5/4/16 was the first contact I made to Angel's Auto seeking that they take the vehicle back and refund me the purchase price of the vehicle--$7,285.35. After multiple phone calls, the owner Graciella refused to take the car back, refused to refund my money, and refuses to admit any wrong-doing. At the time of this writing, I have been forced to take legal action against them. I hope anyone who considers buying a vehicle from this establishment thinks twice, or at the very least double checks the actual VIN--the stamped metal plate rived to the frame that is visible through the windshield and pulls a vehicle history report before they purchase any cars from this establishment. Buyer beware!
