2019 Avalon hybrid

by MichelleLW on 08/24/2018

I drive about 500 miles per week with my job. My husband and I went in to browse our options for a car with better MPG without compromising on comfort. We had no intention of purchasing that day. Taylor Gannon was our salesman. My husband let him know ahead of time that I am not very tolerant of being pressured (an understatement). He was an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you for a great experience, Taylor. Each day with my car has been a great experience and I would absolutely do it all over again. Thank you!

Bought a new Avalon

by fiterdoc on 02/20/2018

Murfreesboro had the exact model I wanted in my preferred color. The salesman, Mike Nobles was friendly and sincere in meeting, as far as possible, my financial goals. Indeed, the 0% financing for 72 months weighed heavily in my decision to pull the trigger. It was a very good choice. Even though I live closer to two other dealers, I intend to do my servicing at Toyota of Murfreesboro.

If you are looking to buy ask go to Murfreesboro Toyota ask for JD.

by Irzgin65 on 10/04/2017

The salesman JD sold my son a car and then a week later I got one. He is an exceptional trustworthy salesman and I don't like sales people. The finance guy was so helpful. I will definitely go back again next time!

Not even experiencing buyers remorse!

by Titansgrl74 on 07/20/2017

I had a great experience buying my RAV4. Liz was my dealer and she was so knowledgeable and patient with me as I wasn't exactly sure which vehicle I wanted, but with her patience and ability to answer all my questions we found the right one and I haven't even had buyers remorse. That's when you know everything was done right.

Pleasant, No Pressure Sales Experience

by Tigerd924 on 04/18/2017

We worked with Victor when it came time to trade our Yukon on a car that met our current needs. Victor listened to what we needed and provided various options without any pressure. He understood that it could be a few days out or months depending on what made sense for us. He found us what we needed, several options then left the rest up to us. He was well versed in autos, knew all aspects of the vehicles and was to the point through the entire process. When it came time to do the financing, we were again offered many options. Each was explained along with the costs to determine what was best for our driving situation and our budget. For us, it was a great experience and worth our time to work with Victor and Toyota of Murfreesboro.

With one exception a good buying experience.

by SoloTraveler on 08/03/2015

Bought my Camry LXE a month ago. For me it's a great combination of the familiar (latches, switches and knobs where I expect them to be) and the new; all the high tech gadgets. The car is comfortable, ride is smooth and everything I need is within easy reach. Been average 29 mpg combined city and highway driving. The dealership has a huge inventory, the showroom is clean, staff is friendly without being overboard, there's even free coffee. I was extremely please with the low pressure sales strategy. My salesman, Frank Taylor, knows his Toyotas and was patient as I weighed the options, bundles, built-ins available. I bought my last new car in 2004 so it was a brave new world of car buying. After some negotiating we came to an agreement I felt was a good deal on both the car and my trade in. My only complaint was the Final Paperwork Dept. There the high pressure sales tactics were in full play to get me to buy an extended warranty, finance through them, and even agree to a credit card. NO,NO, NO! It was a unpleasant end to what had been a very enjoyable buying experience.

Great salesmanship

by rose544 on 10/30/2014

My salesman, Blake Poteat was very polite, friendly, cordial from the first handshake. He appeared to be very knowledgeable of the van I wanted and worked with me to get the trade-in and monthly payment I could afford.

Good Product and People

by wildcat1974 on 07/28/2014

For us, selecting a vehicle has never been impulsive. We are cautious, thoughtful and calculated, in our approach to analysis and decision making, when reviewing and comparing brands and models. We understand and respect personal choice. People perceive and prioritize in various ways, so there are many different vehicles and options, available. Of course, we always seek to rationalize and maximize value, for our own personal situation. Following is insight to our experience. High ratings for safety and reliability are a must have. We purchase vehicles, to own (not lease), with intent to keep and use vehicles for five or more years. For that reason, the cost of ownership is very important to us (purchase price, depreciation, resale residual, fuel efficiency, warranty, maintenance and insurance). We also pay attention to vehicle performance as we very much want a vehicle that is fun to drive. Historically, we have not purchased cars that are loaded with amenities and creature comforts. Our use of vehicles has been focused and limited; going from point A to B - safely, reliably, economically and comfortably, but not necessarily, luxuriously. For our requirements, we have owned Honda vehicles (Accord LX & EX) that have satisfied our needs and served us very well, since 1985. Now, my wife and I are recently retired. We are traveling more, and doing so, mostly, by driving. Longer trips, and much more time in the car... so our value proposition has changed, somewhat. Safety, reliability, and cost of ownership are still a must. Also now, fun to drive is a must have. And too, of a higher priority, are requirements for luxury seats, a comfortable ride, a quiet cabin and more amenities. Our needs are different, but our approach to selecting a vehicle has not changed... rationalize and maximize value. In 2013, I purchased an Avalon from Toyota of Murfreesboro, TN. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this vehicle. Longer trips are so much more comfortable and less tiring. Fuel efficiency has been very impressive, too. Our satisfaction and confidence is high... so much, that this past week, my wife purchased a 2014 Avalon, for herself, also from Toyota of Murfreesboro, TN. We thank Dwayne, Tosh, Tony and Andy... for making these purchases, a pleasurable buying experience. Patty and Tom - Nolensville, TN.

Crazy Sales Staff

by nothappy67 on 09/25/2013

Beware - they hold your keys hostage in an attempt to seal the deal on a sale. They also prefer to sell you a new car versus used & wouldn't give me a quote on the used one I was interested in. What happened to real customer service. I went across town & bought a Hyundai with awesome service. Shame on you Toyota of Murfreesboro !!!!

Beware buying used...

by angel_machine on 08/02/2012

We originally went to look at a used Toyota Matrix, but the hood had two softball-sized dents in it that weren't visible in the pictures. We ended up purchasing a 2005 Kia Sportage, but I'm glad we got an independent inspection before purchasing, because apparently Toyota of Murfreesboro didn't mind selling a car with as many maintenance issues as this car has. We asked for their inspection report and never received it, and we only saw the Carfax after we asked several times. We thought it only initially had an issue with the A/C, but the timing belt, battery, and spark plugs were never replaced. The battery died soon after purchase. The car was already sale priced, but we had to negotiate nearly $1k in addition to cover repair costs. In total it has cost us nearly $1700 to get it road worthy. We sincerely hope we don't regret this purchase, because cosmetically the car is in great shape and was rated well on Edmunds. It's being used as a family vehicle with our infant and we needed something safe.
