Fantastic Experience from Test Drive to Sign and Drive!

I test drove a Durango and met with Steve to discuss getting out of my lease early. There was no pressure and he was helpful and friendly. When we decided to trade in my husband's truck for a Jeep Wrangler and get me in to the lease early, Steve made it happen and we walked out of there completely happy with our purchase. Even Jan in the sales office gave us a great warranty offer and had our paperwork ready to get us out of there as quickly as possible. David Dodge has a lifetime customer in us!

I will say this I haven’t had a lot of good experiences in other dealerships but David Dodge was a hell of a lot better then any of the other I have visited. Our salesman Sharif Mosley made our experience flawless and very easy going.. Was impressed by walking in and not having to wait and was greeted by multiple salesmen and even the clerks behaved nd the desk. I will for sure go back for my future business at that dealership.

Avoid service dept.

I took in my 2017 Wrangler because a transmission gear was popping out. Thankfully my warranty covered a loaner vehicle because David Jeep kept my vehicle for 28 days. After the first 24 hours, not hearing back from David, I called and was told that parts are on backorder and it’ll take 1 week. After week 1, I called back and was told 1 more week because of backorder. I attempted to get info from my service advisor through phone calls & the texting system they use, yet nothing. I was promised follow up phone calls, yet NOTHING. Finally on day 27 I spoke with the service manager and after laying into him, my Jeep was ready to be picked up. I understand how backordered items work, but in that case, communicate with your customer. When you say you’ll follow up, do so. I went out of my way to go to David because my usual dealership was booked solid for 2 weeks - won’t make that mistake again. Sorry David, my Chrysler is ready for a trade in, but it won’t come from you.

I had a knocking noise in my company vehicle. I drive a Ram1500. I was told one of the lifters was bad. David Dodge supplied me with a loaner/ rental vehicle while they worked on the truck. When I got it back I was informed all work was covered under drivetrain warranty, which was a relief. Would recommend them again.

Blown Transmission on 40k 2015 Challgner R/T

Trans disengages when you press the gas too quickly such as when merging or passing. Took it in three times and just got software updates. Manager recreated the problem and said to be lighter on the gas and use a certain technique on the pedal because the car can't handle quick acceleration. I drove with the manager on my fourth trip. I heard it was the valve body but he refused to replace this.

Total Disrespectful Conduct and Inability Repair My Vehicle

I took my 2004 Pacifica due to Transmission problems. On April 9, 2014 David Dodge "fixed" driver side drive shaft along with associated gaskets and seals at a cost of over 1,200 dollars. The repair took 5 days due to the repair technician breaking a part required for the repair (as reported to me by the service representative). Less than a month later (under 300 miles driven) I started experiencing the same handling characteristics, I called at 10:30 Saturday May 10, 2014 to inform them that my vehicle was exhibiting the same driving characteristics as before when the repair was needed. I did not receive a return call (the entire day) and I called 3 times to speak to a "customer service" representative; without any return phone calls. I had the vehicle towed on Monday May 5, 2014 to David Dodge and then the whole experience became very ugly. We were informed that the PTU was burned out and needed to be replaced and it would cost us 2,600 dollars plus tax for the repair. We told them that the repair was a result of their inability to fill the PTU with fluid after the initial repair, to which they replied that the burnt fluid could have been a result of the initial build. But I know that if you take off a gasket or seal....the fluid would have drained out and needed to be replaced! (Years of Preventive Maintenance Checks and service perform on military Humvees) After 4-5 calls to the service department, the Service Dept General Manager calls and informs my pregnant wife that she cannot prove that they didn't refill the transmission fluid from the initial repair, that the service ticket was closed and to have the vehicle removed or they will start charging us storage fees. The service department at David Dodge was very disrespectful and spiteful. This dealership is a disgrace and gives Chrysler dealerships a bad name by virtue of association to the Chrysler brand.

Compliments to the sales staff for actually knowing their product. I've found that many don't know their product and that i knew more than them. David's salemen not only taught me thinks about the jeep i purchased but they put together an unbeatable deal that I couldn't refuse. The sevice and parts departments are also knowledgeable and are courteous. Everyone has been great to work with and i feel confident that they will take of my my vehicle going forward. Excellent Customer Service!!

All of your people are wonderful, from the person who greets you at the service door to the guys and gals behind the service counter. There are three employees who stand out, though, as individuals who provide consistent kindness, consideration, and attention to the customer. Dave Z is one of these people. He is excellent. He is quicjk and efficient, and manages to get the job done while he maintains a positive, caring attitude that makes you feel like you count, and you are a member of the family. Andrew M is another outstanding employee. He is friendly, works hard for the customer, and is not afraid to answer questions or hunt down answers or solutions to problems. He and Dave have taken care of me. They are always there when I bring in one of my 4 Chryslers or Dodges (purchased right there at David Dodge) in for service. At the payment counter, Robin M has a sense of humor that makes paying the bill a pleasant experience. She is a caring customer-centered person, obviously one who cares not only about the customer, but the image of the dealer. Thank you for having such a great staff. Not counting the quality of your product, Dodge and Chrysler/Jeep have a quality staff that makes visiting, either to buy or repair an auto, a great experience.

White Grand Cherokee in May

I recently went to David Dodge to buy a car for my daughter as a graduation present. Despite the recent economy, I had promised her a car if she had graduated with honors and she did. Of course she wanted a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We had done our homework on both the SUV and the local dealerships. We actually went to three different ones and ended up going with David Dodge Chrysler Jeep based on price and on the the quality of the sales people. It has been a while since we bought a car and I was surprised how helpful and accommodating these people were. They spent a great deal of time with us walking through cars and deals and incentives they could offer. The whole time everyone was nice and extremely helpful. We ended up buying a white Grand Cherokee and we have been in for service since and are even happy with the service we received then.
