Bubbling in paint on hood of 2018 Equinox

I purchased my Chevrolet Equinox, 2018, in December of 2019. The vehicle is great except a few main issues. I noticed my tires were bald after only driving the vehicle a few months. Bergey's replaced the tires, paying for two of them while I paid for the other two, being that the vehicle only had 15,000 miles on it at time of purchase. The big issue I'm having now is the paint on the front hood is bubbling in multiple spots. This will likely peel and eventually rust needing to be buffed/ painted or completely replaced. This is not acceptable for a vehicle that is only three years old. I emailed Joanna Bergey and have not heard anything from her yet. I contacted Chevy on my phone app. They said that my bumper to bumper warranty was expired at 35,000 miles, my vehicle has 40,000 miles currently. This potential rust should not be present and is a manufacturer defect and should be replaced/repaired at no charge to myself. I do not drive much on highways so I have no idea why this is happening. This issue needs to be addressed before the rust starts. I have pictures also.

2019 Impala

Bought a new 2020 Camaro

First off we are from Delaware. For some reason it seems all the dealerships near us only offer vehicles loaded to the gills with "gingerbread" we don't need, or want. So, finding what we want is a time consuming effort that involves searching Chevrolet.com, Cars.com, cargurus.com and others to try to locate the perfect match. We went through this last year to locate a new Tahoe. We had to drive over 125 miles into MD to get it, but we did. This year we decided to purchase a new Camaro to replace our Jeep. We researched models, trim packages, drive trains and all other options, decided on what we wanted and then started a new search. It was no surprise we had to "drive a little to save a lot", again. We found 2, both PA dealers we knew nothing about, but liked the color of the one at Bergey's best. We filled out the contact form, received a call within minutes from Steven Tyson who was very helpful, pleasant and not pushy in any way. We decided to proceed and called the next morning to make sure it was still available and let them know we were coming up and when, because they were mostly appointments only but also working with a few walk-ins as they could, to try to keep the showroom at a minimum due to the Covid situation. After 1 1/2+ drive to the dealership we were greeted by our salesman, Tony Isabella. Tony was knowledgeable, kind and very pleasant to work with. We would recommend Tony to anyone. He got us a fair trade-in amount on the Jeep plus the advertised sales price all at once, so we made the deal. He even tossed in a swag bag of Bergey's merch goodies for both of us. Thank you Tony! Tony and Amber offered us water or coffee a couple times during our time there. Very nice of them. Ms. Bergey came over to congratulate us on our purchase and was very sweet. She seemed genuinely happy for us. Sure, it might be something she does for all customers, but there was an air of sincerity that was believable in her mannerism. It was nice of her to take the time to do so. It is something that meant a lot, after all, our business was not just buying a loaf of bread. When you spend thousands of dollars it is nice to be appreciated for your business. Lastly, we thank Patrick in financing. We have excellent credit but he was efficient and thorough covering all bases. The dealership itself was clean inside and out, including the bathroom. We were not in the parts or service departments but the exterior appearance was clean. All in all, we would give Bergey's a 5* rating in all aspects of our transaction. We appreciate and thank all involved and wish all many blessings.

warning for anyone trying to buy a car from bergeys chevy

I bought a car from bergeys chevy in colmar pa last year and as we were going through the payment transaction the sales man and the finance department in the room explained that it comes with free oil change and maintenance for 2 years or after 20,000 miles they even have me sign a paper that stated this but then 2 services later which was about few months later i went in to get another free oil change and they explain to me that it only for 2 services. now on the paper that i sign NOTHING STATED 2 SERVICES! as i try to explain to them the rude manager keep cutting me off and stuck to his word that it only 2 services finally i ask him to send me a paper stating this and he did by email but the paper he send was not a paper i was familiar with which meaning i never signed it nor was i ever shown it. so ill make it clare to anyone trying to buy a car AVOID BUYING IT FROM BERGEYS CHEVY IN COLMAR or else you will truely regret every second of it!

Very Pleased With My Purchase Experience

I was treated very well from the moment that I reached out to the dealership through their website. I was able to take a test drive when I wanted it (the car was made ready for me) and I was able to purchase the car within a very short timeframe. The one glitch that occurred, a GM service recall notice that posted the same weekend I bought my car, was handled very well by my salesperson (Grant) and the dealership. I am very happy with the dealership, and having been to quite a few dealerships over the last month I definitely feel it is one of the best in the area.

Keith has been 'almost' selling us a car for maybe 3 years. After test drives, deep conversations about different purchasing methods, and a lot of ignored e-mails (us ignoring him), we were in a situation where we needed to make a purchase, and I knew I had to go right back to Keith. He is patient (even on the busiest day of the month!), he is clear, and he really is 'in your corner', hoping to make the customer happy. And, he did.

I would DEFINITELY recommend Bergey's!!

I really enjoyed my experience with Bergey's. Everyone I dealt with there went above and beyond my expectations. I purchased by car from a different state and they made the experience very enjoyable. Ken Bobb was my salesperson and he was outstanding. He was on top of things from start to finish. One example was that he and the dealer were able to secure transportation of the vehicle from PA to GA. Although they didn't have to do this, it put my mind at easy and the vehicle arrived unbelievable fast. In fact, car arrived a day earlier and only took 2 days to be delivered! I would have never expected that! That better than Amazon!! The Driver, David Cressman was just as nice as everyone else at Bergy's. Bergey's definitely treat the customer right. I always felt like the people at Bergey's put me first from start to finish. I would DEFINITELY recommend them and would look there first for my next car!

Lito

Lito is the consummate Professional. I received the car I wanted, got all my questions answered. He even answered questions I hadn't asked yet that I should have been asking. I felt very at home with Lito and it was a pleasure to buy my brand new Impala. The biggest satisfaction for me came a few days later when I realized I was completely satisfied with my purchase and had no regrets. That was truly a first time occurrence for me in buying a car. I will recommend him to any family or friends that want to buy a car without any hesitation. I felt like he had my best interest in mind. Horrible service

Some of the worst service I have ever received. It should have been a tell tale sign from the beginning since the day I went to buy my 2012 Chevy Cruze no one even attempted to approach me to try to make a sale. Then the sales person that finally helped me was one of the most unpersonable people I've ever dealt with, but I bought the car anyway since I really liked it. I've had the car for about a year and a half and it's literally been nothing but problems. I have had it taken back numerous times because the car keeps stalling out and at one point the brakes did not work when the car was in reverse. Their service department could literally care less about any of their customers safety considering when I told them about the brakes they wouldn't even take the car for another 4 days plus I had asked them to check it out previously about 2 months prior when I noticed the issue for the first time and they completely ignored me. I tried to explain to them that there was a recall for the exact problem I was having and they told me that wasn't true. Needless to say I went there and it was for the recalled part that broke again and needed to be fixed again. Then when I called about the car stalling they said it wasn't a big deal. Every time I called to have the car looked at they were extremely rude and acted like there wasn't a problem and that I didn't know what I was talking about, only to have me bring it there and have them tell me what I already knew. The Last time I took it there I wouldn't even let them perform the service considering they couldn't even get the problem straight. They literally told me it was two different problems the two different times I spoke with them. They told me the engine was misfiring but it was due to maintenance that I never performed. Then told me that it wasn't routine maintenance it was just a problem that happens sometimes and is not covered under the warranty. So at this point I feel like I can't even trust what they say. The scariest thing of all was probably the fact that one of their employees tried to tell me that the cars sometimes stall if they are starting to run low on oil. It really makes me question if they know what they are doing. Then to make matters worse their manager tried to say that I never brought the car in for any issues when it's literally been there 4 times in the last 8 months and I have all the service documents to prove it. Im beyond fed up with dealing with them and I will make sure that no one I know will ever use them.

Not interested in your trade

The sales personnel were very nice ... but with the current incentives going on, it was made clear, they would not want my trade, and would want to give me less than auction pricing. So, you advertise you are having a SALE ... but either do not want trades, or want to low-ball trades? This does not make sense, unless you have nothing to trade.

completely satisfied after purchasing at lest 12 vehicles

In the last 12 years i have purchased at least 12 cars (6 for me and 6 for my wife) and could not be more satisfied with this dealer. i have always been treated more than fair and never one was there reason to complain. everything has always been handled open and upfront and one time there was even a situation were the dealership caught a mistake made by me in paying something twice and i received a refund in the mail (i never knew until then i made the mistake). that speaks volumes for a business. my cars were always delivered in a prompt courteous way. to show what confidence i have in this dealer - i travel 90 minutes from the jersey shore to colmar to do business with them. there are at 15 chevrolet dealerships between my residence and colmar pa but i feel comfortable and have on several occasions sent my friends and relatives to purchase a vehicle there and i have never had to regret it. people have always thanked my for my recommendation. everyone from the 'get ready person' to the management, the people at bergey's are outstanding and i have on many occasions recommended to chevrolet that they use this dealership as an example on how to run a dealership. a completely satisfied customer

think before you buy

terribly disappointing experience from a place which i thought had a reputation for treating people fairly. i dont want to say they were untruthful, but if i told you what happened, you would be surprised. before you accept the best offer, ask them a few times, "you sure, sure, positive?" i guess car guys can't help themselves.
