Qualified for 'Arrogant Dealer Of Year' Award

by pabubs on 10/27/2013

I did not buy my Ram truck @ this dealership, but contacted them to perform a factory recall procedure as they are within walking distance of where I work. All went well until they discovered the truck was purchased elsewhere. They then informed that while they did have the reqd. part and would honor the Chrysler Corp. recall, it would take 8-9 WEEKS to schedule an appointment. When I objected, they arrogantly said 'take it to Scranton Dodge then', and hung up. I did take it to Scranton Dodge (even though I didn't buy it there either) and they scheduled me within 1 week and completed the recall work in 4 hours. Domiano is known as a 'high volume' dealer - why, I do not know!

Beware! Bait and switch!

by boscov on 12/03/2009

They took 1 year off my warranty without telling me about it! Marked my van in service before I bought it -- never told me about it -- this took 1 year off of the 3 year bumper-to-bumper new van warranty. Bought a new minivan from Domiano. When sitting down to sign the papers, was told that the van had been damaged on the assembly line and repaired before leaving Dodge factory. I was told that this would not affect the warranty in any way. 2 months later I got an oil change at another dealership who said my VIN had been marked in service more than 1 year earlier. I called Domiano to get this resolved. Their sales manager failed to return my calls 5 times, by more than 1 week each time. He refused to fix the problem, to fix the date of service, or to extend the warranty by 1 year to cover the period I thought I was purchasing. He also refused to put me in contact with his boss or with a Chrysler district representative. (He also jerked me around and wasted my time for 3 months on this matter.) I would have never know that my 3 year warranty was only 2 years if I had not gotten an oil change at another dealership! I just would have gone in for repair and been charged for it, I guess.

Beware!

by warningall on 09/23/2008

BEWARE!!!!!! I went there for an oil change and was charged $59.99 plus tax! They didn't even rotate the tires. I called 3 other Jeep dealers in the area and the highest price I was quoted was $40.00 I called and spoke with the manager regarding this situation. I asked if they were doing something special? He could not answer.
