Our buying experience couldn't have been any better. We purchased our 2013 c30, long distance, working with Ken C. The whole process was seamless and enjoyable. A major reason we chose to pursue this vehicle was because of our initial impression of Ken. From inquiry, all the way to delivery, we received the friendliest, most professional service. Even the driver who brought the car to me, Shirley, was fantastic.

Matt M., my sales consultant, did an outstanding job guiding me through the buying process, explaining the features of the car, taking me on several test drives once the car arrived to make certain that I was familiar with how everything works. He also provided me with his cell phone number, so I could reach him even on his days off. He has a great attitude and he is a pleasure to do business with, and he is a great credit to the Leikin dealership.

Saleman Ken Counselman was very helpful. He didn't "act" like a salesman. With his help and manager Steve Ours I was able to trade in early my XC60 SUV for the C70 convertible and keep my payment close to the same. I was just researching the idea in the beginning. Ken convinced me to give the C70 a test drive on a pretty snowy day and was brave enough to ride along. We had the top down as well. The Volvos are great vehicles and the service people have always been very helpful. However, not everyone can sell a car in convertible in a snow storm. Thanks Ken, looking forward to the warm weather as well. Kathy

I also traveled over 2 hours to buy a car from Leikin motors. I found a used car on their Web site that I liked, and reserved it over the phone. Buying a car there was a smooth process.

Sales People Have Ego Issues!

Went there with my wife to look at the new XC60, and from the moment we met the sales person, lets call him "Andy" for these purposes, we didnt enjoy the experience. We felt like he thought he was doing us a favor selling us a car;and that we were idiots who knew nothing about the process because we weren't dressed in Armani outfits and sporting Rolex's on our wrists! When we told him we drove a Saturn currently he assumed it was the Outlook! (Wrong!) He also nearly gave both of us whiplash demonstrating the "City Safety" braking system on the XC60! When my wife asked him about fuel efficiency she was told to "look at sticker"! He then told us the "best" APR he could give was 6.9%! My credit score is excellent and with that insult we walked out. I agree with the other reviewer on here when he/she stated that this dealership doesn't look like it cares about people...just selling cars, when they can! Hopefully this puts others off going there at all.

I bought a Volvo at Leiken in late 2004, although I live 2 hours away. They were the only Volvo dealer I found in a 2 hour radius who was willing to search other dealers' inventories and get in the specific model and option combination I wanted. The others only wanted to sell what was on their lot. I feel like I paid too much, but they found me what I wanted (in Columbus, O.), so I was happy enough. Also, I bought sight-unseen (having never even sat in a Volvo before) and the salesman took plenty of time to walk my wife and I through the car and explain its various features.

This dealership is clearly not in the business to sell cars. Poor sales force, poor management. Seemed as if they didnt want to sell any cars!
