DISHONEST and RUDE

I just got off the phone and had a lengthy discussion with Chris in Sales. I bought a used car there awhile ago and the saleswoman didn't give me the extra key. I didn't notice for awhile and when I called about it they I could come in and just get one--but I'd have to come in on Tuesday between 9a-10a only. They never told me I had to have paperwork to prove I was owed a key. I work during the week and so my mother went in several times and was turned away each time because the one guy who makes the keys was already gone or too busy, etc. I then got sick and was in and out of the hospital so getting in to get another key was not on my mind. Then, when my mom went in again on a Tuesday, the time had been changed to Wednesday. Up until now, it wasn't an issue; however, I now need the second key for work. I explained this several times (although I was talked over/interrupted repeatedly) but Chris basically called me a liar and that I had to have the paperwork... that no one gave me. He was so incredibly rude and the whole experience has been a nightmare. Not only was it their error that I didn't get the second key, they didn't make any notes in their system and I now have to pay for one out of pocket. Chris was horrible and this dealership is not to be trusted. Do not do business with this dealership.

I want to start by saying that we bought a new car from Joseph Chevrolet. This was neither mine, nor my husband’s first time buying a car, or even a new car. This was the first time that we've had an experience like this. We actually stood up two times to leave. At one point, during process, the sales manager yelled at us and told us to sit down and stop wasting his time. While everyone is looking for the best deal, my husband and I both felt that our sales person, Trent, had no idea about GM cars or even what he was selling. He actually at one point told me Buick was not a GM car. He also did not listen to our budget, or any other concerns that we had. We were also promised a service deal over the next two years. Which we found out yesterday meant that we were given 4 oil changes. This turns out to be a savings of a whopping $100. We have agreed at this time that with the lack of professionalism, or honesty that we have encountered during this experience, we will not ever buy a car from Joseph Chevrolet, or any other branch of the Joseph franchise. We are enjoying our Chevrolet. So this has nothing to do with Chevrolet. Trent failed to have an understanding of the GM product, services provided. He consistently said that he was new and didn't understand it. Later his co-workers told me that he should have done basic things before we left. For example, 6,000 miles later our vehicle is still in demonstration mode. What our sales person, Trent, and his management, failed to realize or demonstrate is that honesty, respect, integrity, and knowledge goes a long way. Cars are a large investment. We value integrity and honesty. If we are treated well we would have come back to buy cars over the next 50+ years. This, at minimum, is a $200,000 loss to the Joseph franchise. To us, we felt that we were told whatever would sell this car not, what was actually true or could be honored.

Love My New Traverse

The salesman Christopher was the highlight of our visit. It was the new sales manager who was doing the back and forth with us on pricing and overall cost of ownership. We shouldn't have to wait till we get to the finance guy to find out how much off we got for our vehicle being used. It had 2000 miles on it and if my wife didn't really love this SUV we would have walked away from the deal. It was only Christopher's kindness and sincerity that kept us around. Also our vehicle was still not very clean, especially the windows and the techs left a dirty rag on the driver side door.

Great experience!

Experience was easy and effortless. Chris was a great salesperson. My wife and I went to another dealer a few days before to be let down after 9 hours there. Chris took the time to find the right vehicle for us and had keys in our hands in just a few hours.

Everyone at the dealership was professional yet friendly and welcomed me as a customer. I was especially impressed by the sales expert, Mike Thomas. He loves his company and along with his product knowledge, transfers his trust and belief in the quality of the products that are offered. I am recommending Mike and this dealership! Would never go back

We stopped by Joseph Chevrolet new car sales to see the new Traverse and ask a few questions. We wanted to see and feel the difference between the second row bench seat and the optional bucket seats. The salesman who came to help us was named "Ben". when I told him thanks and my wife would be the person making the final decision as to the actual vehicle and where she would buy it. Her slammed the car door closed as hard as he could and said," so all you came here to do was waste my time." Hopefully other customers won't have to be subjected to the rudeness of "Ben".
