I'm on my 2nd Lexus SUV and love it. The service and prices for maintenance and repairs are not that bad! I was pleasantly surprised! The sales staff and very helpful and the service staff are excellent people, very pleasant with a nice sense of humor. I highly recommend buying a car here, and continue using their maintenance programs.

Extremely Happy Customer

I bought my car last week from Hendrick Lexus. Not only did I buy a car from them, but I also sold them the car I was previously driving. I was given incredibly fair value for my car and also a very competitive price on my purchase. The staff at Hendrick Lexus was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and made buying my car simple and stress free. I worked with Josh P as my sales rep and he was top notch. He stayed in contact with me through out the whole process and made sure that every need I had was taken care of. I also worked with Tyler J who is the operations Manager. He was extremely personable and made me feel like I was a member of his family when buying from Hendrick Lexus. I would 100% recommend working with Josh,Tyler and buying a vehicle from Hendrick Lexus. Sincerely, An extremely satisfied customer

Very poor Ethics Exhibited by Service Manager

In May of 2010, my husband and I purchased a new RX350 from Hendrick Lexus on Independence Blvd. This was our second purchase from this dealer and third Lexus thus far. After two years, while the car was well within warranty, we noticed that the leather on the front seats and console was not wearing very well. The color of the leather was completely worn on the console and the seats had many crinkles with black lines. We brought this to the attention of our Sales Rep who in turn referred us to the Service Dept. An assistant Service Manager told us that this was normal wear and tear and if the problem should get worse, he would take care of it for us. As time went by, we noticed the problem was getting worse. We were in the process of selling our house in Charlotte and moving to So. Florida, so we waited until we got to Florida and brought the car into the local dealership. We were told that if Hendrick Lexus agreed to foot the bill, they would do the repairs for us. So we called the Service Manager in Charlotte, David S and relayed the story to him. He told us they he would contact Lexus Corporate and try to get them to fix the problem under their "goodwill" policy. After several phone calls, we were told by Mr. S that Lexus Corporate has approved the repairs to the leather; however the local Florida dealership has now refused to do the repair. This made no sense since we were told that as long as Lexus of Charlotte footed the bill, the Florida dealership would gladly help us and do the repairs. My husband and I took a ride over to the local dealership in Florida and spent three hours with the Operations Manager. He tried to call David S three times while we were there, but could not reach him and could only leave messages for him to call back. The Operations Manager in Florida also called Lexus Corporate to see if a case had been opened regarding our vehicle since we were told that they had agreed to fix the leather. Much to everyone's surprise, there was no such notation that anyone had ever contacted the Corporate office about our problem. We left the dealership in Florida with the understanding that the Operations Manager would try to find out what was going on. He agreed that as long as Lexus Corporate was footing the bill, he would gladly fix the leather locally. That evening we got a call from the Operations Manager in Florida telling us that Lexus Corporate did not agree to cover the repair and we would be getting a call from David S. He did call and completely changed his story. He proceeded to tell us that Lexus Corporate did not agree to pay for the repairs. He then said that he contacted a local Lexus rep who offered to pay a portion of the repair provided we bring the car to Charlotte. This was a complete antithesis from what we had been told the evening before! When we confronted Mr. S and told him that this was not what he told us the previous evening, he could only say that we must have misunderstood. We had our phone on speaker and my husband and I heard him say "Lexus Corporate has approved the repair under their Goodwill Policy." I don't think we both have a problem with our hearing or intellectual capacity. However, I do think someone has not been forthcoming and is now back pedaling and trying to tell a different story!!!! Plus the So. Florida Lexus manager must now think we were making up a tale. This experience sure left a bad taste in our mouths. I guess unless you get something in writing, don't take anybody's word on the phone.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HIDDEN COST OF LEASING A VEHICLE IN NC!!

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE HIDDEN COST OF LEASING A VEHICLE IN NC!! This dealership, while they are pleasant enough to deal with, will pretend to be ignorant of personal property taxes and how much a year they will add to your payments. I leased a 2012 IS from them valued at $41,000. I do not own the car but in this state the owner (Lexus) can pass the cost of personal property taxes on to the lessee legally. While this should be illegal it is not so please be aware that on a $41,000 dollar vehicle IT WILL COST YOU $600 DOOLARS FOR THE FIRST YAER WHICH RAISES YOUR MONTHLY PAYMET BY $50 A MONTH!! They will tell you that it’s only a couple of hundred and downplay this major increase in price. Please don’t take my word for it. Call 311 and speak to Mecklenburg county tax office directly before making a decision to lease a vehicle from any Hendrick dealership. This tax varies from year to year and is assessed based on the blue book value of the car. For 2012 it’s 1.23% so you can do the math on how much more this will cost you per year. Now I am not expecting them to know every counties tax laws but they most certainly should know Mecklenburg counties as the majority of the customer live within that county.

Hendrick Lexus Service - A cut above

From the minute you make your service appointment - whether by email or phone - you release that the service experience at Hendrick Lexus is truly a cut above everyone else. The scheduling process is quick and friendly, but thorough. The service department then sends helpful reminders of your appointment day and time. At the dealership the drop off process is courteous, friendly, quick, and efficient. The service staff are always completely prepared in advance for your individual service needs and requests. During my last visit I was a "waiter," but was offered a loaner car just in case my needs had changed. I was given an estimate of cost and time required by my service staffer, and then went to the service lounge. The service lounge at Hendrick Lexus has something to meet the needs of every customers. There are complimentary beverages and snacks for all tastes, there is a television lounge equipped with ample comfortable seating for all customers, and there is a computer work area for those who need to stay on the job. The service staff stay in constant communication with the customers as to the status of their service and any extra needs are communicated quickly. My serevice was completed within 2 minutes of the estimated time for exactly the price quoted. The checkout was quick, yet thorough; and my 330 was returned to me spotlessly both inside and out. Finally, two follow up contacts were made regarding the quality of service. In my estimation the above review in-and-of-itself would qualify Hendrick Lexus for a five-star service rating, but this is only part of the story. At Hendrick Lexus the customer is treated as if they are part of something special. Every member of the dealership staff is both friendly and engaging, but not pushy. Furthermore, it is obvious that the staff members take pride in their work and want to "go the extra mile" for the customer. A perfect example is the car cleaning following the service. At many places the car is basically rinsed off and quick vaccumed, but at Hendrick Lexus your car comes back "really" cleaned down to the wheel wells. I have been a Hendrick Lexus service customer for approximately 5 years - the last two because I choose to be. I drive approximately 50 to 60 miles round trip for service work at Hendrick Lexus gladly because I wouldn't trust the service on my RX330 to anyone else.

I recently had to trade in my 1999 Rx300 and where there could have been an opportunity to 'take me to the cleaners' Hendrick Lexus and their sales person, Peggy Iverson did an outstanding job finding me a CPO Lexus RX350. Now, there were a few things that needed to be fixed of course. Here is where the service manager and mechanics once again did an outstanding job trouble-shooting the issue and making it perfect for a three year old vehicle. I strong recommend you do your automobile business with Hendrick Lexus.

Buying a car at Hendrick Lexus is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Salesman Brent Johnson is the one to ask for. He is extremely professional, courteous, and knowledgable about the product and a pleasure to do business with. He listens well to your needs and concerns and spends all the time in the world with you tryng to respond to your questions. I have purchased over 15 new vehicles over the years and this was by far the best customer service i have ever received from a salesman and dealer. You are treated like a king. Brent and Hendrick truly do get it.

ES350

We just purchased our first Lexus. Bill Ingram was our sales contact and our experience for this purchase was a very good experience. Bill and his partner Michael Diaz-Granados worked very well together as a team. We test drove the ES350 and the RX350. The test ride went very well and there was no pressure. We decided to go with the ES350. Bill was very good to work with and helped us to find the color that we were wanting. We always felt welcome at Hendrick Lexus by everyone. After the purchase, they went over the car and explained all of the major functions of the car and went out of there way to make sure that our questions were answered. Our experience at Hendrick Lexus was very good and I would recommend this dealership for anyone considering a Lexus. I could not be more pleased with the experience.

I don't usually post online feedback like this but I have to say that my experience with Hendrick Lexus and in particular my salesperson Greg Davies was one that deserves mention. Greg went completely above and beyond in handling the purchase of my 2010 RX350. I've never had a dealership go to the lengths they did to make sure my wife and I were completely happy with our purchase. I would definitely recommend Hendrick Lexus and definitely ask for Greg!

My recent new car purchase with hendrick lexus was a great car buying experience. my salesperson, Sam Nazar was very professional and knowledgeable with all aspects of the lexus vehicles, especially the hybrid. Sam answered all of my questions and explained the nuances the vehicle in detail, while making the entire purchase process enjoyable. this is my second lexus purchase (from both sam and hendricks lexus) because of the sales staff and great service department. a special thanks to sherrie (from guest services) and jason (from finance) who were all fantastic in helping me complete the new veicle purchase.

Outstanding Service

I am a previous owner of a Black Lexus IS 250, which I purchased from Hendrick Lexus a few years ago. Although I loved that car, it proved to be too small for my life style, so I contacted Hendrick again to inquire about purchasing the ES 350. I worked with Neal Robbins on the sale and I have to say the experience was exceptional. Neal, in addition to the others who assisted him, went above and beyond all expectations. They ensured my experience was outstanding by not wasting my time negotiating back and forth. They were honest with what they could do and iin less than an hour we worked out a purchase agreement which satisfied both of us. Neal also made sure I fully understood everything regarding of my new Lexus. He explained all of the features and even placed the Lexus Red Ribbon on top so I could commemorate the day with a photo...I felt like a valued customer throughout the experience. Hendrick Lexus has earned a lifetime customer. I plan to return in a few years to purchase my GS 450. Thanks to Hendrick Lexus family.

Sales staff and service were beyond expectation - the entire process from choosing a vehicle to driving off the lot was effortless. Bruce Fredette and Ronald Cowles helped me lease my first Lexus, and I can say without hesitation it will not be my last. Everyone was helpful, eager to assist me with anything I needed, and genuinely wanted me to be happy with every aspect of the sales experience. It was a pleasure doing business with Hendrick Lexus.

saved lot

AC stopped working. Independent garage said compressor needed replacement but that he could do job much cheaper than Hendrick, namely, for $1050. Hendrick said could replace for only $842 but when I brought car in for service, they found that only a relay needed replacement at cost of $182. Was provided with free loaner car.
