Great first chevy car purchase experience at rydell grand forks ND

I have trade in my Toyota rav4 at rydell grand fork ND. I have got best price for my trade in and very price for new chevy equinox 2023. I have work with sales lady Savanah, she was great to deal with no gimmicks everything upfront. She is very professional and has great smiles and respectful, I am very pleased with her service and help to purchase my 1st chevy in life at rydell dealership. My experience with sales lady and dealership was great, I would recommend other's to buy cars from rydell and contact Savanah. I am guessing other salesperson would also great but I have personal very good experience with Savanah. She has answered all my questions and help set up my phone to car, explain all car functions. Makes me and my wife very comfortable with car. God bless Savanah and her service is great dealership is also great. Just go with confidence you will not disappointed.

Extremely disappointed, waste of my time

I had a lovely interaction with Mike Menard. I test drove a few vehicles on a Monday. I took time out of my hectic life to go look and I brought my dad with me who is also very busy. While I was driving one of the vehicles I was interested in, my dad got a phone call for work. He answered it and Mike was visibly annoyed that he would answer a phone call while riding in a car. Mike was extremely unprofessional and unable to answer all of my questions about the cars. Red flag, right? On Wednesday afternoon, I made up my mind and reached out to Mike to let him know I decided and we agreed Thursday at 6 pm, I would be buying a car. He did not inform me that I needed to put money down on a vehicle at any point through this process. So, I got insurance and everything squared away to buy this car. Mind you, this is my first time buying my own car so I wasn't too sure what to expect but I told Mike this thinking it would benefit me and he would be more helpful. Nope. I had asked for his advice on which car would be the best fit for me and my life and he had no interest in listening to me, he clearly only wanted to make a sale. Thursday at 11:18 AM, I received a text message from Mike asking me to put $500 down on the car. I replied asking him why not just start getting a loan set up for me since I was at work and would be in later that night to buy the car? He wasn't even brave enough to call me to tell me this. At 12:06 PM I was on a break at work and called him to see what was going on since he didn't bother to text or call me back. He informed me that someone else was looking at the car because "he dropped the ball" and forgot to hold the vehicle for me. I asked him to please fix this because we had previously agreed that this vehicle would be mine and he replied that he sees stuff like this fall through all the time. He said well there's nothing I can do about it now because another salesman has the keys and someone else is interested in it. He gave me excuse after excuse to cover his mistakes. I asked that he involve a manager since this car was already supposed to have my name on it. He told me the manager said "it is what it is" because Mike failed to inform me that I needed to put money down and now they had another potential buyer there. At 12:40 PM, he called me back and informed me "it's a done deal, sorry." It was the most insincere apology I have ever heard. They sold the car out from under me when it should have been held with my name on it. I requested his manager reach out to me and he did but I was working so I was unable to answer his call. The managers have yet to return my calls and it's been almost a week. If I had "dropped the ball" like that in my job, I would be fired. This was completely ridiculous, easily avoidable, and the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. I can definitely say Mike Menard will NOT be selling me or any of my family or friends a car. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in Rydell and all of the people that "dropped the ball" for my first car buying experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

Very Pleased With 2013 Certified Silverado

Sales person came in early to take care of us. Answered all questions and requests. No pressure. Treated our sale the same as the big dollar sales. Good customer lounge. Will go back in the future.

Excellent buying experience!!

We had an absolute excellent buying experience when we purchased our GMC Acadia! Justin Bjarnason was our salesman and he went above and beyond what we expected! He was thorough and upfront with everything! He made sure we had our minds set on the right vehicle! He kept asking us if we wanted to see anymore vehicles because his ultimate goal was to be 100% sure we loved the vehicle we were going to purchase. We had no pressure from him into buying the Acadia. I say that because we had decided to go with the Acadia if we were going to purchase from Rydell. We had other vehicles we were interested in at other dealerships, but the buying experience with him was ultimately the best and that played a huge factor in us buying from Rydell. He was very patient with us and let us make the decisions without trying to talk us into buying. When we got the approval to purchase the Acadia we told him around what time we would be in. He had the car nice and clean and ready to go when we arrived!! Also all the paperwork was waiting for us when we went inside! We didn't have to wait for anything! Justin knows what it takes to give an excellent experience! I will definitely go to Justin in future purchase and I am recommending him to anyone I know that is looking to purchase another vehicle! Thanks, Justin!!!

I appreciated his knowledge and experience as he guided me through my leasing purchase. Best Experience Ever!!

Craig Croaker was amazing at showing us all the features of our new Acadia!! This has by far been the best buying experience I have ever had at any dealership in the last 30 years of buying vehicles. Craig's knowledge of the vehicle and his personal attention to detail was outstanding. Rydell was also so generous giving us a full tank of gas, free car washes, 2 oil changes. I will recommend Rydell to all my friends and Craig Croaker in particular for their car buying needs. This is definitively the place I'll go again.

Great Experiance

My poor Avalanche had had enough. After countless operations on it, I felt like it was time to set her free in a pasture owned by someone different. I called the dealership in the morning and my phone call was answered by a nice young chap named Sam Foster. I explained to him that I was looking for a brand new fully loaded Z71 Colorado and that I'd show up around 2pm. At 1:50 I showed up (if you're not 10 minutes early you're late) and he was just pulling a car up front for me to look at. We took it for a test drive and I fell in love with said Colorado. They took my sad Avalanche for a test drive and gave me more than I thought they were going to. Now granted that I had already gotten pre-approved from a bank for a loan, I was in and out of there with a new vehicle in 2 hours. In the downtime, while papers were processing, him and I engaged on some serious golf banter. Never at one moment did I feel like I was being swindled, or hoodwinked in any sort of way. My experience was quite pleasant, and I was lucky enough to be in there while they were moving ZO6 Corvettes around (stimulating.) All in all, if you're looking for a new Chevy, swing by Rydell's and ask for Sam. Maybe you'll get some golf pointers, too. (He has his PGA card.)

My first vehicle purchase

When I arrived we went out for a test drive right away and then sat down and talked about different things.
