Flow Automotive rocks

by Larnc52 on 05/13/2016

I few weeks before bringing my Chevy Equinox here, my dashboard light came on indicating a tire pressure problem in one of my tire. I first went to another tire company about the issue. They did get the light to go off, but a day later, it was back on. My husband suggested we stop by Flow Auto to let them check out the problem. Rep was very helpful and did a quick check of tires and found too much air in them. He also was able to get light to go off again. He also told us if the tire pressure light comes on again, there may be a problem with the tire. Maybe a slow leak or something. He told me I could bring it to them for repair or wherever I chose. He did not charge me anything after doing this for me and we thanked him for his time. After a couple weeks, the tire pressure light did come on again. We made an appointment for the next day. I also received an email confirmation of the appointment. Check in was a breeze-no waiting. Lounge area was nice. Rep brought me bottled water and kept me informed of progress. There was a minor problem with the rim-not the tire, which they fixed. I was charged 5.00 less than quoted-not a big deal to some, but a nice gesture on their part. The total charge was not much anyway. Everyone was so nice. Even the sales reps. would ask if I needed anything when they came through the lounge. This is the kind of business I like working with. I will bring my suv here for future service. Thanks, guys for a job well done. They are the real deal.

Dealer makes good on failed manufacturer warranty

by wehacadia on 05/09/2016

The antenna base on my GMC Acadia Denali came loose during a car wash at the dealership. I tried unsuccessfully to work with the GMC Factory rep to have repairs made. Due to many others of this model experiencing the same fate, it was obviously a design flaw or factory defect. The dealership stepped up to cover the parts and repair with a $200 deductible, which was a good goodwill gesture to retain me as a customer. This is my 4th GMC and had planned on continuing our relationship until GMC revealed how it the they cared for loyal customers. This may very well be my last GMC, but not last vehicle from Flow, who sells many brands.

The best service

by WEHAcadia on 07/25/2014

This service is typical of all service I've had at Flow GMC; unsurpassed excellence in all facets from check-in to check-out. The availability of loaners makes any service requirement even enjoyable since we're provided with best of the best models of loaners. Being appreciative of this luxury that is not available at most other dealerships.I always return the vehicle with more gas than I left with. It is disheartening that some customers bring them back nearly dry and let me take this opportunity to suggest that Flow send vehicles out full and require customers to pay for filling up when returned. Why not, because if we were driving our own vehicle, we would be paying fro the gas anyway. Flow certainly shouldn't have to provide the gas also.

Great Service!

by christine4015 on 05/14/2014

I brought my 2006 Saturn Vue in due to an engine light and I had oil service done as well. The diagnostics showed a loose gas cap and my service rep Shane, waived the diagnostic fee. I am new to the state, just two weeks, and I will definitely choose Flow Chevrolet as my service provider because of Shane's service. I used a Buick & Chevy dealer previously for service; however, I found Shane's attitude refreshing. By the way, I have had the same diagnostic code before and my previous dealer did charge for the diagnostics.

Flow not fixing recall.

by SWoosley on 04/15/2014

We took our 2005 Saturn Ion in on 4/10/2014 for the well known SIR coil problem. Flow installed a new coil and charged us $89 for the diagnostic test and $348 to replace the coil. The next day after we brought it back home the power steering went out. We took it back to Flow and they said it would cost $99 for the diagnostic and we would have to pay for the power steering to be repaired and that there was no recall. I have no idea if its a very strange coincidence that the power steering went out the day after we took it to Flow or if they had to remove the steering column to fix the SIR coil and didn't put something back right, but why wouldn't the first diagnostic find the problem if it was there before they worked on it and why charge us for another diagnostic? Apparently GM doesn't inform the dealerships before they send customers recall letters and until GM posts it on some GM website Flow will not fix it. I can't post links in this review but GM does have a post on their media site about the recall. The Title is "GM Recalls Older Model Vehicles to Fix Power Steering". We own 4 GM vehicles, purchased the other 3 brand new, 2 from Flow. We were test driving 2 new vehicles the day we took the Saturn in for service the first time, they have definitely made the decision not to buy those two vehicles an easy one.

Only the best at Flow Buick!

by loyalcustome3 on 02/22/2014

Once again, this was Flow Buick Service at its finest! Our car broke down on the way to a church event late Saturday afternoon. We were towed to Flow; and even though it was after hours, we ran into Oakie on his way back from dinner with family. He was most sympathetic and even offered to drive us home. We already had a cab in transit, but knew that this was a sincere offer from Oakie, who has become a trusted friend, taking care of our family for many years! My husband was the communicator during the week regarding the repairs. It was an incredible list of critical work to put the car in top condition for my safety and peace of mind on the road. I have nothing but great praise for the care and attention we received from Oakie and Rick, even making every attempt to reduce our out-of-pocket payment to them.

Love the Service Advisor!

by kathleens1 on 11/01/2013

Car maintenance is not one of my favorite things to do, but James G. at Flow makes it seamless. He's is courteous, professional and knowledgeable! Even when he called to let me know of a big issue with my car there was empathy in his voice. If you're having trouble with your car go see him...he's awesome!
