Poor follow up

I had my car was brought in for a routine oil change and I asked them to check the “cornering” light feature that stopped working. I asked them to call or text me with questions since I was not present. When my husband picked up the car, they told him the lights were checked and everything was working properly. My cornering lights still don’t work. I wish they had called me to let me know.

Nothing but problems

Went in for simple software update. Have had nothing but issues. The heating and air stopped working. Could not control it from the radio. Unable to use Ram connect. Have talked to Ram connect and the Dodge dealership and still no resolve.

2017 JKU water pump replacement

Service advisor Chuck was in it!! Great service as always! Only issue was having to make an additional trip due the extended warranty provider was closed when we were there on Labor Day. That is the only reason for the four star’s.

Chuck is an awesome individual but, I had my car in 3 months before to fix this problem, they changed a bran new battery with a battery, and windshield wiper hoses at a cost of $700, that wasn’t the problem. This last time was $1500, and 3 weeks, I bought my wife a new car because I couldn’t wait any more. I chose not to have you install the hands free module as the cost of it was basically $700, I paid $800 to troubleshoot what the problem was. That was already paid for prior to troubleshoot. All questions couldn’t be answered, with yes or no.

My Experience with Lake Norman Chrysler Dodge and Jeep

Of all the Dealerships I have been to, to buy a vehicle or to get serviced this Dealership is hands down by far the best! I am greeted when first getting there by Hello! Welcome, is anyone helping you, or what can we help with you with today. When buying a vehicle the sales folks listen to your concerns or questions, and they address them quickly, and they take the time to go over things about a vehicle the customer is considering in buying. The folks in the area where you do the signing of the paper work are GREAT as well! I had John Cauble, in which he made sure that I understood each document I was signing! Also when coming out to get me in the show room greeted me with a hand shake. Afterwards of signing the paper work, hand was shook once more and Thanking me for coming back for yet another purchase of a Chrysler 300. When I went to get in my newly purchased Chrysler 300 I was met by the sales person named Maggie, in which I was also told Thank You for your purchase from us and we all here hope you enjoy your new ride! Then she continue to go over some more stuff with getting things activated before leaving the dealership to head home! The thing here is even though it was pushing for them to close for the day, they all were still taking the time to go over stuff with me and making sure I understood everything, and was not rushing me out just because it was 8pm on a sat evening! Love this dealership, and the professionalism that they each have!

$$$$ for fluids and possible repair

How can a dealership stay in business with outrageous pricing after the fact for service??? I bought a used 2012 Chrysler 200 S Convertible from a different dealer. I took to LKN Dodge for fluids replacement and a diagnosis on my suspension. ALL I got was inaccurate billing for services. I was told $155 from Sal for the diagnosis and got $179.99 per LINE ITEM. I stopped them right away so I would NOT get charged $$$$. I asked the service manager Brandon for explanations and got even different charges. He agreed for the $155+ tax to get my car back. I NEVER felt so in raged about what could have happened if I didn't catch in time. I will never step foot in that dealership ever again. We bought a car/serviced it there for years before this happened

Dont buy here

Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge is horrible. They promise you anything to make the purchase and then they take it away. We were offered Free Oil Changes and Tires for Life. We got about 3-4 oil changes for free...after that, they charged us without telling us ahead of time. $50 for an oil change is absurd. When the tires needed replacement, they told us that we get a $500 allowance for new tires. Apparently they only provide ultra premium tires (Kuhmo..haha) and we would have to pay an extra $400 to get all of this done. And did I mention that it took 3 weeks for their service department to give me this quote. Every night they said "Let me try to find someone to give you a better quote, and we will call you back".....they never call back. I'll never go back there. I called a local tire place and they will give us 4 new Bridgestone tires and balance them for $370.

Not Repaired

Had my Jeep GC there 3 times to repair brakes. Problem recurred, I asked LKN Svc to research issue before I drove 25 miles for 4th try - nothing. Svc Mgr and Gnl Mgr would not respond in any way to numerous calls. Just bought a new Jeep from Hendricks Jeep.

Fantastic Service Department

Over the past 15 years I've been buying cars here and having them do the maintenance and repairs. Their service department is very technically liable and they do great jobs. I've had 5 cars maintained here, along with repairs when needed. I would suggest using their service department to anyone.

Bad service, bad quality

We've used this service department for many years, tolerating bad quality of service and high prices because of the convenient location. But after the latest incident, when we had to bring the car back four times for the same problem -- first being charged for repairs that did not address the issue (I wasn't even asked if I am okay to do those repairs), then being told that the issue did not exist in the first place, and finally telling me that I have to pretty much replace everything -- I've had enough. This is by far the worst service service department in the area -- please stay away. You'll be glad you did.

Great Service

After buying my car at Lake Norman Chrysler Jeep Dodge, I wanted a few things added just to enhance my ride. I briefly mentioned a couple of things like tinted windows and a DVD system to Randy Hembree as we were finishing up the purchase paperwork. Randy remembered everything I mentioned and has done an OUTSTANDING job in following up on each item to make sure that not only do I get the extra bells and whistles I want but also a great deal on them and convenient times for installation. Even while sitting at the service center during the installations, Randy always comes by and checks on me and makes me have that warm fuzzy that you only get with exceptional service and attention to detail. I have been so impressed with Randy's thoroughness and ability to "read my thoughts" on what I am wanting that I know I will always seek him out with my LNCJD needs. Randy is definitely a true asset to Lake Norman CJD and was a great contributor to me having continous great experiences with both the sales and service side. Thanks Randy and thank you Lake Norman CJD!!!

Great Service

I recently had to take my car in for service, the advisor was great, he was able to explain to me the repairs that were being made to my car in away that I could understand.I would recommend this dealership to anyone. It was clean and everyone was so nice.
