Essendon Mazda - The Absolute Best!

From the moment I walked into Mazda in Essendon Fields, I was given the absolute best service. Nick in Sales, Greg the Sales Mgr, Cameron in Finance and Sylvanna in after car sales all worked fabulously together to provide the best customer service and overall package. I purchased my new car from here and was so happy with the whole experience. My experience with their entire team, changed my whole perception in regards to purchasing a new car. Where I would have been normally anxious about this process, their friendliness and honesty made me feel extremely comfortable with every step of the process. Highly recommend!

Great car and dealership

I bought a new CX-5 in mid-August. I was going to wait until Labor Day but got such a good deal on the exact car I wanted that I didn't. I was very pleased with Jason and Lee, the sales manager and salesman, who worked with me and the extra effort they put in to seal the deal.

Excellent buying experience and I love my CX-5

I filled in an inquiry through the Edmunds site and was contacted within a couple of hours by Ben Vigil from Quality Mazda in Albuquerque. He was great to work with. He respected my desire to use text and email instead of phone calls. He gave me a chance to take two cars home to drive overnight and that really helped. I thought I wanted a Mazda3, and while it seems to be a great car, it was smaller than I wanted, he then gave me a chance to drive a CX-5 and I loved it. The sales process was simple and straightforward. I never felt high pressured. I think I was in contact, back and forward, for about a month before buying. I recommend Ben and Quality Mazda to anyone looking to buy a Mazda.

Internet Parts Failure

Ordered a Mazda part on line. My credit card was immediately charged and then the part was never shipped. Contacted the parts department 9 days later for shipping status and was told the parts person, Amber, went on vacation and my part was still on the shelf. Mark in parts said he would take it to shipping that day. Called two days later for status and part was not shipped. Steve said he would take care of it. Called next day and was transferred to Amber. Left two voice mails for Amber which were never returned. Since no one is capable of helping me order a part on line from this dealer was left with no option other than to stop credit card payment. Highly recommend not to use their online parts!

Awesome Experience

This was my first time buying a car. I was very nervous since I was not sure what kind of car I wanted or where to go. My first stop was the Mazda dealership on Lomas at 7:30am. This is when we first met Andrew Heavner. He was very knowledgeable, transparent, he listened to my car needs and fulfilled them all! One of my many, many needs was a car that would allow space for both of my German Shepard Dogs in the back cargo area. He was gracious enough to allow us to get both of our dogs in the car to make sure I was satisfied with the space for my dogs. I fell in love with the CX-5! I knew this was an amazing car that fit all of my needs: enough room for the dogs, safety, sporty, responsive…. I still visited other dealerships to make sure there was not another car that I wanted more. Andrew was very relaxed and had no problem with us checking other places out. At all of the other places I went, the sales people were very pushy, eager, and would try anything to get me to buy now. I NEVER felt this pressure from Andrew. I even checked out other Mazda dealerships and I don’t feel like I was taken seriously as a buyer. In the end, I knew I wanted the Mazda CX5 and returned to Andrew even though the one I wanted was at the Santa Fe dealership. He was able to get us the one we wanted from the other dealership for the price we wanted!! Andrew was very pleasant, transparent, and willing to go the extra mile to make us happy! Recently, I returned to buy additional accessories for my new CX-5 and he showed me what was available, walked me over to the parts department, and even offered to help figure out the assembly. He REALLY goes the extra mile!! You honestly become part of the family. Thank you Andrew!!

All that and a windshield....

Even though they had to organize ferrying my vehicle to the windshield replacement shop, on their own on a busy Saturday, they still were able to complete my list of maintenance items on time! Great Service!

Brandon was a very good csr. rep. He was well versed on the CX5...the few things he didn't know, he did find out for me ASAP. He was a good balanced sales rep.....NO high PRESSURE and NO Baloney. He went the extra yard to be helpful and understanding. He also treated me fairly and I appreciated his efforts.... and so the results of all of the above greatly infuenced me to buy my new CX5 from YOUR dealership..... I must say Quality Mazda showed me the easiest time in purchasing my new Mazda 3. Andrew was very patient with me while I decided on the many cars available with many different options. Once I decided on the car I wanted the rest was a breeze. No pressure of any kind and one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had at a car dealership hands down!

Exceptional service

From the beginning of the car buying process Quality Mazda was exceptional. When the TruCar price went to the dealership they contacted quickly noting the cars in inventory that matched my request. When I went to the dealership they had the car that I picked out ready to test drive Scott explained and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I do not usually comment on car buying since many times the process is tedious. I left the dealership in just over fd2 hours which included setting up financing. Just an overall wonderful experience.

My wife and I just signed a lease on a 2015 Mazda 3 from Andrew Groves at Quality Mazda. We were tired of car repair bills and wanted a reliable and safe new vehicle. Andrew took his time and showed us many vehicles in our monthly budget. He knew that repair bills were another factor that we wanted to avoid. After a week of taking us around and looking at so many vehicles, Andrew Groves suggested a car lease as an option. As he gave us time to weigh our options and Pris/Cons, we then decided to pursue the lease. Andrew took his time to listen to the needs of my wife and found the perfect vehicle for her and stayed in our monthly budget! The beauty of the lease is that we have a full bumper to bumper warranty! No major car repair bills!! Thanks Andrew, we truly appreciate all you did for us. Joe and Kerry

Uncommonly good customer service

Recently, I began researching cars in the CUV class to purchase. After reading countless reviews, perusing Kelley Blue Book values and Fair Prices, test drives, comparing four manufacturers and models, and communicating with multiple dealerships, I finally bought a car from Quality Mazda (CX-5). In my first conversation with this dealer, sales rep Ben promised me that I would be very happy with the entire process, the final price, and my car. I assumed this was just talk; after all, how could he predict all that without knowing me or my needs? But it turned out to be true. The other dealerships (both Santa Fe & Albuquerque) were spotty in their communications with me, and one of the sales people even retorted to me after I suggested that I wanted to pay as close to invoice as possible: "Not from me you won't!" What won me over was the friendliness of these people, and how easy they made it to buy a car. They didn't pester me by phone or email like the others did. They delivered on their promise by agreeing to my price, and they allowed me to perform as much of the financing and paperwork over the internet and telephone as possible, so that when it was time to pick up the car, all I had to do was sign some papers, shake their hands, and take the keys. Ben answered all of my questions promptly and courteously, and he even offered to deliver the car to me (I live 75 miles from the dealership). All in all, it was a very streamlined process, and they checked back with me afterwards to answer any questions that may have come up for me. This dealership had the best and most varied inventory so that I could find the car I wanted without the options and packages that I didn't want. That was also why I chose them. I am glad that I did, and I highly recommend them.

An honest car salesman, really.

We bought a Mazda 3 iSport at Quality Mazda from Ben V. on April 4, 2013. I dealt with five different salespeople at various dealerships in this process and Ben was the most reasonable and responsive. Be sure to ask for him specifically. If you are a savvy internet shopper (which you probably are, since you are reading dealer reviews on Edmunds) ,you know how annoying the run around that you get from car salesmen can be. Ben does none of that, he is willing to communicate via email and be up front about prices and incentives. We had one minor issue when we went into the dealership to pick up the car. The agreement had been verbal , and to Ben’s credit he was honest about what he had promised on the phone and told the sales manager (who was questioning the issue) that he had made the verbal agreement with us. Both my husband and I were very impressed by his honesty, not a word you often see used to describe anything to do with car sales. There was no high pressure selling. He also made a great effort to streamline the processes, getting the paperwork started before we arrived and having the car already detailed and ready to go. It is obvious that Ben is the rare breed of car salesperson who realizes that people have access to a lot of information on the internet now, and those of us who do our research do not want to be subjected to the ridiculous blather we get from many car salespeople. Good sales experience with Quality Mazda

I purchased a new 2013 Mazda6 iSport from Quality Mazda through the Costco Auto Program (CAP). Quality contacted me promptly via email after I submitted my name through the Costco web site. The Quality salesman in charge of CAP sales was helpful, answered all my questions, and was patient when my wife and I test drove multiple vehicles over two weekends There was no high-pressure sale and no up-selling (although I did up-sell myself from the Mazda3 to the Mazda6 because I liked it so much!), and the no-hassle, no-haggle CAP price was an emminently fair deal. Overall the purchase experience was pleasant, and I'm very happy with the Mazda6.
