Great car buying experience!

by Cgatherer on 10/20/2015

I had been looking a 2010 Jeep Patriot online for a while, and finally found what I wanted at Fiat of maple shade. I made my appointment and end up working with Steve. He was super friendly and made sure I had the best experience. They were a little busy that day, so I hung around for a while. However once it was my turn to sign paperwork, I was in and out like a flash. Great car and great service, I highly recommend Fiat of maple shade.

by chris0721 on 10/17/2015

I went in to Fiat of Maple Shade not exactly sure if I wanted a Fiat 500 or the Abarth, the sales person I had (Mashell Hartman) was very helpful and surprisingly knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend this dealership to family and friends!

Fiat of Maple Shade

by Tre221550 on 10/17/2015

My fiancé and I always liked Fiats but it was never really in the budget to get one. My fiancé saw a commercial and dragged me by my hair. I kept insisting it was too much on our budget. When we got there we were greeted by the team and everyone was really nice. We had some questions and James Cantagallo had the answers. Extremely helpful and actually worked some magic to fit our budget. All in all it was a good transaction. My fiancé is happy and a happy wife is a happy life!!!!!!

So help anyone who goes here!

by justaguy10 on 10/15/2015

We had shown interest in a car at Fiat of Maple Shade which had a price tag online which had literally doubled upon our arrival at the dealership.Numerous questions including questions about insurance, APR, and warranties were brushed off and redirected. The sales person had informed us that the car had a 4 year or 40,000 mile warranty which we later found out AFTER the paperwork was false and not even close; the real warranty was for 3 months or 3,000 miles which is not even in the same realm! The staff used scrap paper to make you sign stating that you would purchase the car had they met your terms and even force you to hold on to your down payment. It took us five hours in the dealership from the time we picked the car we wanted to the time we drove off on a Monday when the dealership was not busy! I would not recommend this to anyone and I have warned everyone I speak to to avoid this place like the plague.

Fiat of Maple Shade is awsome!

by Tknight77 on 10/14/2015

Today I visited Fiat of Maple of Maple Shade based on a car that I saw on their website. The car did not fit my needs when I arrived . I went in the dealership with a set price of what I wanted to spend and I was working with Brett W. and he presented me with several other options that they had available. He worked with me and my budget that I wanted to stick to and he put me in a car that not only met my needs, it exceeded them. I am completely sastisfied with my experience here and I recommend the dealership if you want to have full control of your purchase. If/when you are in the market for a vehicle this is the place and ask for Brett W.

Purchase of Fiat 500L

by John20152 on 10/13/2015

My purchase of a Fiat 500L was perfect for my needs as a homeowner with plenty of cargo space and my love for acceleration with its turbocharged engine. My sales experience was beyond my expectations. My salesman Alex was himself experienced, professional and dedicated to customer satisfaction. I felt welcome at the dealership and everyone seemed friendly and courteous. My confidence with Donna confirmed that I will enjoy a longstanding customer relationship at the dealership and with Fiat.

Pleasantly surprised - and that's saying a lot!!!

by SanteFeHannah on 10/06/2015

Not sure why a saw some bad reviews here, I just went in and bought a used 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe for only $3300 with all taxes and tags included!!! I was really reluctant to go to a dealership for a used car being afraid of getting pressure sales I to something newer and more pricey or getting a piece of junk etc. All I can saw is wow!!!! My car is perfect - I had to replace the rear brakes which they had told me up front and I did the next day for less then $300! That makes the total for the car $3600!!!! That's for a car that runs tight and clean ( been driving it for hours and hours and miles and miles since I bought it)! Most people get buyers remorse, not me! The more I drive my car, the more I love it! Julie Thompson was great and spent as much time with me as she would have a new car customer. She worked it so that. Was able to drive that car home THST DAY. I couldn't be happier. I normally don't give reviews - but credit given when credit due and credit is really due here!!!

Sales are disgusting people

by Hatefiat on 10/04/2015

So here's my story... I had an awesome 2014 Optima in my fav color and loved it. Wasn't looking to get rid of my vehicle. Received a letter in the mail and went in to check out if they could indeed offer a high amount for my Optima ..so after looking around I fell in love with a camaro. So we worked a deal out and I left with a 2010 camaro (dumb move ) anyway snow comes and I realize I can't drive it anymore. So I go back to fiat to try and get a jeep. So since there were no incentives and it was used my payment would have been 810/month. So Lou talked me into checking out a Fiat. I knew I needed to get rid of the camaro and Lou...well like any sales man told me lies about it holding value which is BS. I purchased a 2014 fiat 500 L easy for 20k after incentives and the resell is 14k that's not good resell value. So now I have a 699 car payment. So I go to fiat for my oil change and this lady (will keep her name out of this) comes up to me and asks about what I drove. I told her about my situation and she suggests the one way I could get out of my negative equity is go get a new loan get the new car ..then next day call Chrysler capital to do a voluntary repo. She reassures me that it would work and I wouldn't owe anything else on it and just need to deal with bad credit. I left the dealership to look into if and even called Chrysler capital to get info on if. They confirmed they would bill me and come after the remaining balance on loan after they auction off the car. I am so thankful I didn't fall for their sales tactics. They are brutal and will do anything and say anything to make a sell. I will never ever purchase another vehicle from fiat or their family of cars.

Maple Shade Fiat treats you like a Queen!

by tfazzio1 on 10/02/2015

I had the pleasure of trading in my 2012 Fiat 500 for a 2014 Abarth 500C GQ. They found the car is was looking for and then were so helpful and accommodating during the finance phase and test drive. The staff here is incredible and very friendly and the management is superior! I definitely would deal with Maple Shade Fiat and recommend all my friends to try them out!

Warning!!!!! Do not buy a vehicle from fiat of maple shade!!

by Els11 on 07/15/2015

I wouldn't recommend fiat of maple shade to my worst enemy. When I walked into the fiat of maple shade I was optimistic about the experience I would have with them. I went in their looking to trade my car for another vehicle. After feeling very pressured towards the only vehicle they would show me I had them run the numbers on what my deal would be. I test drove the car only around the dealership as the weather was bad that day. I went back and forth with them on numbers for 3 hours until I felt completely overwhelmed and pressured into making the deal. I began my paperwork as they were closing and was rushed through signing all of the documents. I tried to stop and ask questions and the papers were pulled out of my hand and the next paper was handed to me. As a young women I felt very taken advantage of at this time. I drove the car home that night startled by a horribly loud noise when reaching over 50 mph. I went home and immediately went over the paperwork to find out the car was previously a rental vehicle and has liens on the vehicle history report that they never disclosed to me and they rushed me through signing every document. I immediately called Fiat of Maple shade at 9:00am in the morning the very next day (after I was there until 9:30 the night before) less than 12 hours after I left the dealership explaining the situation to the gentleman who answered the phone and telling him the vehicle has issues and I would like to be put in another vehicle he sounded concerned and told me a manager would be in tough with me ASAP. About 4 hours later I was contacted by a sales manager there who told me that I was YESTERDAYS BUSINESS AND THEY DONT HAVE TIME FOR ME BECAUSE THEY ARE DEALING WITH TODAYS BUSINESS. He continued to tell me there was nothing he could do for me as "my deal was closed" but at this point I had yet to receive the check for $1,000 they still owed me as I purchased a vehicle for less many than my trade. He then told me my check was ready and that was the end of the conversation. I went there the next day to pick up my check and speak to the manager about making this situation right. He told me he never told me the check was ready in the first place which was a lie. He told me he wouldn't put me in another car because what would happen if i didn't like that car either and he wasn't going to help me. He told my boyfriend who came with me to the dealership for support as I'm a young woman that he doesn't know why he's even talking. He also told me I was desperate and that they made a desperate deal with me. As a young woman being called desperate by a company seems extremely inappropriate to me. I have never been treated with such disrespect. He then closed the office door after my boyfriend walked out to calm down locking my boyfriend out of the room..again completely inappropriate. I then contacted the GM who told me to come in and meet with him. When I met with him he told me he didn't want to listen to the hear say because the sales manager told a completely different story than the actual truth. I told him I would like to get into a different vehicle but he told me there was nothing on the lot he could get me into (although there were 15 other vehicles listed for the same price as the vehicle I purchased). I then told him I would just take my trade in back and he said oh that's already sold which was another lie as it is still listed for sale today. He then told my mom was raising her voice when she wasn't and insisted he wasn't going to help me at all and threatened to leave the room if my mom didn't. Again these men insisted I could only speak with them and got whoever I brought with me for support out of the office. They took full advantage of me. In the end the loud sound of my vehicle was fixed. I went again to pick up the check which I specifically told them I wanted to do in person for them to tell me it was mailed out by mistake. Horrible horrible customer service. They will lie and take full advantage of you. take your business elsewhere. These people don't deserve your money!! Lesson learned on my end!!

Unhappy!

by JiveNJingle on 09/06/2014

Salesman was very deceitful, had an agenda (needed to get rid of a car that was less than desirable, promising a great deal) and none of the promises (full tank of gas, oil change, etc) were kept. Salesman was arrogant when we called him out on his tricks, finance guy was smug and nasty, and nobody deserves to be treated like that when spending their hard-earned money. We were overcharged for registration, and refund was just an insult. Would NEVER go back to this place!

DECEPTIVE TACTICS - BAIT AND SWITCH

by peanut1970 on 07/28/2014

I go in to see a 2012 Fiat 500 sport for $10,300.00 they tell me if i don't have 2000.00 down that its in fine print on the advertisement which i never saw. I can't get that car and after awhile show me a 2010 Toyota Yaris which they said was 12,995 but marked it down to $11,995.00 plus fees etc. But won't tell me the extended warranty price. They tell me to sign a spot agreement and even have the car dropped off at my house. Next day i see that the car was actually for sale for $9,990.00. Is there a lawyer in south jersey i can contact?

Terrible Dealership

by john_d3 on 03/16/2014

I am only giving this dealership 1 star because 0 stars are not an option. This dealership is full of pricing lies and the general manager should be fired. Here's my experience below: I went to the Philly Auto Show in February and came across the Fiat 500L. I really liked the look and style of this car, specifically the Trekking trim with a power sunroof. This was the only dealership in South Jersey. Upon my arrival to the dealership we met with Nick, a very nice salesman. Nick let us test drive the 500L trekking trim and showed both my father and I all the different features. We let Nick know our down deposit amount and what we would like our monthly price range to be. We showed Nick the car we specifically liked with about a $26,000 MSRP. Nick brought out his "sales manager," Lauren, to talk to us about the car and find out about what we were interested in. Right away, we told her the monthly price we could afford and the down deposit we had. She said right away she's experienced and can get us towards the price we can afford for this specific car. First, she'd have to consult with her general manager on literally every little detail. We go in the dealership, get our first offer, and we find out the MSRP of $26,000 isn't the actual price they are selling the car for. It's actually $28,000 due to "market value" price. Weird, I think. Why wouldn't they tell us that initially. Okay, whatever. We move on, chuckle, and say we need this lowered because that's cray cray. After hours of her coming back and forth with prices from her general manager, she then tells us we simply cannot afford any of their cars, just the "base models." Then, suddenly, right before we leave they offer us a decent price for the fully loaded car, but for a much longer payment period. We tell them we'll have to come back and think about it. She says, "why not take the car home tonight and see if you like it. You don't have to say yes now, just take it home and see what you think." I'm a little skeptical, but my dad thinks it's a good idea to try it out. Right before we are about to give them our insurance information and take the car home to try out, the general manager says "so what's the decision." I say, "well I'll take it home like your sales lady said and have a decision for you when I bring it back." He says "no, you can't take this car home unless you buy the car right now." He then gets mad at us because we weren't going to buy the car at the exact moment. He basically said "I have an incentive to sell a certain number of cars a day and if you're not going to do it now don't bother even try to buy it from us a different day." You can tell the two sales people, Nick and Lauren, are embarrassed. They said they'll take our numbers down and call us on Monday. The general manager then says "No, if you don't make this deal now no one will be calling us." He then went to blame his sales people for miscommunication about sales prices but still blames us for wasting his times. My question for this dealership is how did we waste your time? We told you the car we liked, the exact amount we could afford, and the monthly payments we wanted. We were ready to leave so many times but they insisted they could try to do better. They literally lied about the price from the beginning, would never give us a straight answer about rebates and interest rates, and essentially wasted our entire Saturday night. Both sales people blamed their general manager for never giving him the bottom line dollar we insistently asked for from the beginning. The general manager should be fired for how incredibly rude he was before we left. The sad part is that we were going to buy this car the following day, but due to his incredibly poor customer service and awful attitude, we will never purchase a vehicle from here. TL;DR. Avoid this dealership because their beginning prices are actually more than the MSRP you will see on the window. The sales people will never give you a straight answer on price or interest rates. The general manager is seriously the rudest person you'll ever meet and wants no one to waste his time. Due to horrible customer service and an incredibly awful sales force, I didn't end up buying the car (even though they finally came to the price we wanted). I'll say my prayers for Nick and hope he gets out of that place as soon as possible. He was the only knowledgeable person and had only been working their 3 months.

I got my Mercedes here

by joslynkreigh on 08/22/2013

Alright, so I go online and find out that this Fiat dealership has like tons of luxury cars. I was suspicious at first, but they really did have all of the cars on their website. I decided on a Mercedes and actually got a really good deal without having haggle back and forth. I will definitely buy another car from them in the future.
