Never have I been so miss treated
Never in my life have I ever been so miss treated. I set up an appointment to look at a 2016 MKX with about 22,000 miles, went in and took a test drive. I absolutely loved the vehicle. After the test drive we went into the dealership to run the numbers on my trade. When the sales associate came back, he asked me to come into his office. He told me what he would give me for my trade (which was a complete low ball), talked to me about leasing then told me that he would run some numbers and get back to me tomorrow. I though this was rather strange but I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The next day, when I hadn't heard from him, I emailed him asking if he had any number for me. His response was "our computers are down". Again, I thought this was weird. My husband ended up calling him to ask him some questions. After a couple of questions the sales associate said "to be honest sir, I didn't think she could afford it". Please note that he didn't ask for any financial information and didn't ask about my credit score. So in closing, I really should be thanking you for not selling me the vehicle. I went to a different dealership where I found an even better 2016 MKX with less miles, lower price, and more options. They also gave me $3000 more for my trade.
