First and Probably Last Acura from Curry

This is my 6th Acura purchase, but first and most likely last from Curry (4 others from Acura Westchester, 1 from Wappingers). If the review was just for our Product Specialist, Steve Neubauer, it would be 5 stars. However, it's for the complete dealer experience. Spoke to Steve 2 days prior to visiting re: a specific MDX A-Spec. Curry was the only dealer within 2 hours that had this model and color package. Steve was a consummate professional from call to dealership visit and test drive. When discussing final pricing, he mentioned needing to check with his Sales Manager, Yuri Abramov. We were off by $1.5K. That's when things fell apart. Yuri sat down and quickly said: "When I come over it's to save a deal, but I'm letting you know there's no way this is happening. So what are we going to do?" I said I would be happy to meet in the middle to which he replied "absolutely not." I told him to have a good night and that I was going to purchase my second choice elsewhere the next day. Steve stopped me at the door to apologize. I wished him the best but let him know I was very unhappy with Yuri's attitude. The next morning Steve reached out to apologize again and ask if I was still willing to split the difference on the price gap. I said that would be fine and purchased the vehicle the next day. After signing paperwork, I was told by Finance (Dimitiri Davidoff) that it would be easier to just email all of the paperwork, which was fine. Only after multiple calls and emails did I actually receive the email. If I could rate individually, I'd give Steve a 5, Yuri 1, and Dimitri 3. Definitely not my best Acura experience. Guessing anything 4 star and above did not involve Yuri.

Amazing Curry Acura Experience

My experience with Curry Acura was positive and wonderful! The staff members were courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to introduce themselves and offer any assistance with questions we had about the Acura MDX. Stephen the product specialist was particularly attentive, knowledgeable, and respectful of our time. He did not rush us nor was he pushy in any way. Stephen spent a lot of time walking us through the technology features of the MDX and everything the vehicle had to offer. I appreciate the service my wife and I received from the staff at Curry Acura.

Anthony was incredibly helpful when I bought my car. He was able to answer all of my questions and was very patient, and he followed up afterwards to make sure everything was going well. Next time I need a car I'll definitely call him again.

Our relationship with Curry Acura began in 2009 with our first purchase of a TSX and most recently the acqisition of a 2023 MDX. All of our experiences with Curry Acura over the years have been wonderful, professional and truly enjoyable. Curry Acura experience was really exceptional and seamless. Working with Zi was amazing. He was such a great resource in helping us find the car the worked best for our family. He was knowledgeable, nice but also honest and straight to the point. He helped acclimate all our upgrades and get us the MDX A-SPEC we really wanted! I highly recommend working with him!!!!

Purchased MDX - Worked with Sal Costello!

Sal Costello is probably one of the best around. I've spoken with numerous other sales associates, across a number of brands, and Sal was really above and beyond. He was transparent on price and worked with us over the phone, which was great because we were not geographically close. Other agents would require us to be in the shop to talk numbers, and it's their loss. He also provided valuable insights into the auto market today, which were insightful and helped us make the right purchase. We look forward to working with Sal again in the future!

Andrew Uffenheimer’s focus on delighting each customer — paying attention to every detail in his purview — is a breath of fresh air. His caring, earnest, engaging and personable touch I have not experienced before with any other automobile sales person. We had such an excellent experience leasing our Acura MDX from Sal Costello. He was extremely honest, knowledgeable and made us an offer we couldn't refuse. We have been leasing and buying Honda vehicles for over 30 years and decided after talking to Sal that we would upgrade to an Acura, and we are so happy we did!
