Power booster whine/Sierra 2500 HD

Mechanic BR, repaired a power brake booster whine problem that no one else could find. He rerouted the high pressure line that was touching the accumulator. The noise was happening since day one of buying the truck and drove me nuts for a year. Every mechanic at multiple dealerships told me it was “functioning normally”. BR found the problem and I am grateful for his follow through. Thanks again.

This is about my service at Robert Basil GMC in Orchard Park, NY. From the initial sale to after-sales service, this is truly a five-star facility! The service department is always consistent, same great service every time. Jeff Powell and Jordan Chavier (might have misspelled that) are amazing assets to the dealer, as are the techs behind the scenes who I do not know, but who take exceptional care of my vehicles needs. Ashley Putnam is an awesome appointment coordinator, the three of them make the service dept what it is. HIGHLY recommend!

They wanted $300 just to run a diagnostic test. Ummm, you can buy one of those for thirty bucks on Amazon. I got them to accept a hundred and fifty for the diagnosis but then they would not credit me towards the repair. Paid about $450 to have a fan sensor fixed. they couldn't even be bothered to run my car through the wash. This is the last time they'll get my business. And it wasn't the first time that I've had a bad experience.
