Dishonest and disrespectful of your time

If you ask to test drive a vehicle here the first thing the salesman will say is that someone just tried buying that one but the financing fell through. Likely story. They will also say they are not high pressure... but the minute you start talking purchase pricing it becomes a very uncomfortable high-pressure situation. They low-balled me on my trade in. I went to another dealership 15 miles away and they offered me $2,000 more for my trade-in and gave me a better price on a new vehicle. I wouldn't waste your time on Lunghammer.

Chevy Dealer Offers Saturn-Like Buying Experience

This was the first time in 25 years that I went to a Chevy dealer to purchase a car. I refused to buy a Chevy because of a previous dealer experience; I bought Saturns because of the customer treatment they provided and their unique vehicles. The Joe Lunghamer Chevrolet sales team in Waterford, MI did an outstanding job!! Not only did they bend over backwards assisting me with my purchase (I canceled an order already in the plant because (my fault) I found an option I wanted on the car and ordered another car with that option - they ordered the second car within 30 minutes of me canceling the first order (which they couldn't stop from being built) and never said one word other than "Don't worry about it") but they consistent helped us save money throughout the buying process. Kevin Rangel, my sales contact, found a $500 discount that I didn't know about and their financial officer gave us a better rate than the already low advertised rate of 2.9%. She also went through a series of options with us; we ended up purchasing several of them as they were good values. I would have felt like I was in front of a "snake oil salesman" based on my last dealer experience; that dealer tried to sneak a 10% of the car cost "feature" I didn't ask for and did not want into the contract. The Lunghamer financial officer was very knowledgable and professional; there was absolutely no pressure for us to purchase any of these extras. Kevin always provided cars with features I wanted to evaluate at a moments notice and made the buying process very relaxing and enjoyable. It is refreshing to see an American car dealer providing this kind of service. In my opinion, this level of service is not an option if car dealers want to stay in business. Congratulations to Lunghamer for providing luxury car service to customers purchasing economy cars. Because of the excellent sales experience, we will be purchasing our next car from them.
