Going above and beyond for the good of the customer..

I took my vehicle in for a recall adjustment and the job was finished before they estimated it would be. When it was completed I asked the service dept manager? if Northgate had some good way of cleaning the inside of my windows because as a 75 year old woman my arms do not bend as is required to get the job done. I was willing to pay for that service, however without hesitating she called to one of the techs and requested him to take the car and clean the insides of windows. That was one of the best gifts I ever could imagine receiving! Thank you immensely Northgate Service dept!!!

Excellent dealership

The vehicle i leased is a Lincoln KMC. It is beautiful and i am very happy driving it. My salesman, Chris Clubb did an excellent job of finding the Lincoln with the colors, assessories, and special features i requested. He and the staff obtained my Lee County Florida registration for me. An out of state registeration is a challange! I have leased three vehicles through the Northgate dealership. I would be glad to reccomend them and my salesman, Chis Clubb to my friends. Their service is excellent.

Oil change, Brakes and Warranty

My vehicle was taken in for an oil change and to check to see if it needed a wheel bearing. The vehicle was taken into the shop and we were given a courtesy car to use while it was in the shop. All of this was taken care of in a timely manner. When we picked up the car a day later we were told what the cost would be. I was surprised to hear that my extended warranty had expired in January of this year. We travel south for the winter so I don't know if I missed the correspondence that might have alerted me to the fact that it was expiring or if none was sent out. I remember getting lots of phone calls trying to sell me extended warranties, but I thought I was still covered. You know how those phone calls can get annoying after awhile. Anyway, I was able to open a Ford credit card to put the charges on with no interest for one year. I also bought another extended warranty at that time.

Service and Recall Experience

2013 Ford Taurus Limited Everyone is very helpful, have some recall notices being taken care of. (Door Handles) (Lic Plate Lights) The service mgr is looking into the credit for the Lic Plate Lights. Hopefully this will be resolved soon. I highly recommend using Northgate Ford!!

Good service, promptness as promised

Service was good as usual. The $100 deductible was a surprise to me as was the $50 rebate by pre-loaded debit card. There was no indication of the real cost of the warranty service which makes me wonder if the added expense of the extended warranty is really worth it. It seems to me that if the extended warranty is really worth the cost, you'd certainly tout that fact.

Professional, Informative and Caring Dealer

My experiences at Northgate Ford Lincoln has been most exceptionally informative and has given me new confidence in American Dealers. It was the professional handling of my email questions which prompted me to go to a dealer out of state. This dealer as not only quick to answer emails and questions at the dealership but the entire experience made me feel that I was considered just as important to them as would be someone from their home town. Right from the start, my very detailed request for a 2010 or 2011 MKX and all the goodies would have boggled anyones mind...and of course I wanted the car at the lowest price ever. I was contacted immediately not from just a salesman but also from the dealer, Mr. Wood himself! In less than 24 hours they were not only able to find a vehicle fitting my request at a reasonable price but was able to make a deal putting me in the seat of a 2013 MKX.! This was something I could not pass up...so I actually flew to detroit. The dealership arranged for me to be picked up at the airport and within 2 hours after landing in Michigan, I was standing along side the MOST AMAZING ELEGANT SUV that I have ever seen, with coffee in hand and being offered the tour of the facility by the dealer himself. The Finance Office, Joe Wood took the time to carefully detail what was expected of me as well as tell me about future warranty etc. It was the first time I actually KNEW exactly what all the "small print" actually said before he asked me to sign on the dotted line. The Dealer had the car finished with a special finish to make sure the bugs would easily wash off the front of the car...it was a great idea because I had a 800 mile drive home. He also had his crew line the carpets with plasic in order to keep the car looking VERY NEW when I arrived home. Amazing to have someone thinking about the emotional aspect of have a new vehicle. This Dealer is more than just "where I found my new car"...he is NOW in my mind the person I would call with ANY question about anything relating to vehicles. To top the experience all off...The service department had a SYNC expert. Of course another of the family, Mike Wood....who not only stayed with me until 9 pm that night...to make sure I knew exactly how to operate the SYNC system in the car...but worked with me to use the navigation and plan the long journey back home. The navigation system not only showed me the roads but marked gas stations, restaurants, etc along the way. He did all this....after he bought me my own coffee to sit in the car and study out the operation with him. While driving back home, the SYNC system was amazing in that is did all that Mike Wood said it would, but....I found myself never getting tired driving the 14 hours. It was almost as though I had a friend in the car with me. Needless to say...the adreneline was flowing driving such an amazing vehicle home. No matter where I stopped for gas and food...every time....someone would stop me and say...what is that car!? It is beautiful. So of course....I had to sit them in the car, show them how the car talks to me...as though I had owned the car for months. ....All thanks to Mike Wood. The most imporant thing I can say to anyone looking for a new SUV.....do your homework and go drive all the other types of cars....and leave the 2013 MKX for the last...because you will never find a vehicle so plush, quite, responsive, and with the feel and look of quality as you will this vehicle. And furthermore.....take the time to talk to Tom or Joe Wood at Northgate Ford....THEY MATCH THE QUALITY OF THE MKX with their Professional and Care for their clients. And Yes, I was shocked when....the phone rang by bluetooth connection about 6 hours into my journey home and it was the dealer himself...asking how the car was running and if I was happy. I have purchased many vehicles of my 60 years and can say...NO ONE has ever called me after they sold me anything. Thank You Northgate Ford Lincoln. Thank You to the Professional Wood Family. Thank You Lincoln for my MKX. If you want to make a commercial with a very happy customer...call me anytime.
