Great service on my i3

My son was driving my i3 and a "drivetrain malfunction" occurred. We got it to BMW of Peabody, and the dealer ran diagnostics within 24 hours and determined a major part need to be ordered. It took a couple days for BMW Corporate to release the part, but once it arrived, it was immediately installed. Glad to have a BMW dealer that knows how to service the i3!

On Vacation & BMW Electronics go Haywire!

My wife and I were vacationing on the North Shore of MA and our BMW electronics began to fail. Of most importance, our trunk would not open. My medication was in the trunk! Went to BMW Peabody and service adviser Matt and Greg came to our rescue. They repaired our car and we were on our way. Lifesavers!!!!

Excellent Warranty Service

Not only did they fix the leak issue with my AC, but also performed the work at no charge since I had brought it in previously when still under warranty but at the time were unable to find the leak. Warranty expired and they honored the work. Thank you guys!

Matt has been our regular service advisor for years. Always has a very friendly greeting and has a great knowledge base with vehicles. Matt is also good about keeping us updated with the status on service and when the car is ready for pickup.

Always Above and Beyond

I have had a string of BMWs serviced at BMW Peabody since 2003. The Service Consultants have always been very helpful and very knowledgeable. While I would never characterize anything on a BMW as cheap, the covered scheduled maintenance makes the first few years relatively painless, and the Peabody service department has always been fair and honest in its pricing. They know the cars and have always done the job quickly and correctly. I cannot say the same for the local Mercedes dealership. At Peabody, I have had great experience with the consultants and the service manager helping me understand and get the most out of all of what the fabulous machine has to offer.

Just had my 1st 10k service done for my 2015 X5d. It was free which was great but the scheduling and service were quick and painless. The lounge is nice.

Late part and paid up front thinking it would arrive within reason

First experience here was a good one. But this time through I was very disappointed. Had to order a new DME for my 98 328i. Paid 1900 dollars up front and was told 3 to 5 business days in writing and by advisor Matt. After this was ordered on Thursday I waited to hear Monday as they had promised. Never heard so I called. At first they couldnt tell me where it was so they would call back Tuesday morning. Which they did!, however no apology now stating it will arrive next Tuesday in other words almost 2 weeks from originally ordering. Now I was never offered a rental and I need my BMW for work.so after writing to service dep I'm told the standard is 7 to 10 business days...then why in writing does my form I signed say 3 to 5 and why did everyone say I'd have it sooner. They have my money up front. If I had known it could take 2 weeks, I would have gone elsewhere or done repair on my own with a local shops coding help. This will be my last trip here once this repair is done and I highly recommend avoiding them.

I took my new 228i in to deal with a few new car issues,not only did Greg manage that fantastically but checked the car out and brought to my attention a bent rim from road damage. Everything solved well and with maximum use of the tire warranty I had purchased! Thank you

I wanted to say that BMW of Peabody has the service department!!! Robert Hannafin is outstanding when it comes to customer service never have to wait you come in and they take excellent care of their customers! I would definitely recommend them😀

Outstanding service, great service advisor

BMW of Peabody service department is the best (I have tried 4-5 bmw dealerships before). Service performed is great, all issues are identified correctly right away (other bmw dealerships had constant problems with this one) and taken care of in a timely manner. Special thanks to my SA, Greg Stanicek. Always top notch, always explaining what is going on (issues, time frames, etc), always available to discuss car issues (phone or text). Keep doing a great job!

Excellent Service

I went to the BMW in Peabody for tire replacement and the service department were very professional and courteous and the replaced my tire in no time. I had anothe flat again in the same tire, I thought that they did not fix it from the last time but I was surprised that the service man actually showed me the tire and explained that I must have went over another pot hole. It's a good thing I got the tire protection for it did not cost me anything and they also gave me a free car wash. I have had many cars in my time over 30 years worth and I have to admit that all of them could take lessons from the folks at BMW of Peabody I would recommend them in a heartbeat

I always call or email Matt Hefron to make my service appointments and have been doing so for years. Matt is always very pleasant and extremely knowlegable about bmw's and can often suggest service needed if I explain the issue being experienced.

WORST DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!

Never have I seen a dealership that would go to such lengths to avoid honoring a clear warranty replacement item. They blatantly lied to me about the test results, even after I gave them multiple opportunities to reverse their decision by substantiating their mistakes through other service facilities. The deceptions and outright stupidity is unfathomable at this particular dealership. Not only did they misdiagnose my vehicle's problem, but their insistence and unwillingness to acknowledge their mistakes goes even farther. In fact, after complaining about them to BMW headquarters' customer service, they even went out of their way to misinform them to con them into siding with their erroneous analysis and decision not to honor a warranty replacement. I would, with absolute certainly, never buy a vehicle from [non-permissible content removed] nor would I ever trust them with my vehicle to provide an accurate and/or professional repair. Their lack of comprehension for the mechanics of these vehicles is shocking and deplorable. Frankly a so-called dealership like this one should be SHUT DOWN...PERMANENTLY!!! IF THERE WERE NEGATIVE STARS OR ZERO STAR RATINGS I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS DEALERSHIP THAT RATING INSTEAD BECAUSE THEY DON'T DESERVE ANY STARS AT ALL!!!

Helpful and Courteous

Kay has been my service advisor for many years and has always been very helpful and courteous to me. Recently, my car with almost 100k mi on it had to be towed into service, and Kay called to tell me the problem and the cost. I said I'd rather put the money into a new car. She arranged for a car to pick me up, have a sales person waiting for me, waited patiently while I made up my mind whether I would buy a new car or go ahead with the repair. I chose to buy a new car. Then Kay arranged for a car to drive me home and also pick me up the next morning so that I could finalize the purchase of the new car. Kay has always been a true professional.

never bring your car HERE!!!

I came in for a recall part for my vehicle with an apt with kay. Every time i come in this place the the vibe is cold!. they lack people skills and customer service skills. i dropped off my vehicle and was not offered a loaner but a ride?? and when i pick up my vehicle i Found out that BMW service department broke my seat while working on the vehicle and tried to tape it together nevertheless they left their dirty black hand print on my tan leather seats all over the car..doorhandle. When i called kay she said to come by and she'll take a look at it very stand off ish manner. I live all the way in avon so its not even a convinience to do so which i did and was told by someone else oh yeah come back will replace the part! so i had to literally fill up my gas tank twice in one week because of disturbing"service" which makes me even question the job itself was it ever done. they say they replace the floor mat it looks the same to me! no apologies just blatant ignorance!!! So made 3 trips to this place was unsatisfied and they had the nerve to brake my property and try to hide IT!

Bad experience with BMW Peaboday service center

Nice people but just lost faith in their ability to accurately diagnose and fix problems. Had to go back multiple times with same issue and each time they would replace a different part (ker-ching!) or spend hours trying to see if it was electrical.

Excellent Performance and Service

After dealing with numerous vehicle service outlets I can say without question BMW of Peabody sets a very high standard for others within the industry. For about 3 years now I have been working with Tom for all of my service needs. Time and again I have been impressed by his professionalism and work ethic to get my vehicle back as promptly as possible with no inconvenience to me. I love my BMW and recommend one to anyone; not only for the pure quality of the vehicle but also due to the impeccable service I have enjoyed from BMW of Peabody. It in itself makes owning a BMW worth it.

Great Service

I previously had leased a 2010 BMW 5 Series model from another BMW dealership. Towards the end of the lease the dealership was sold. I decided at that time to bring my vehicle to BMW of Peabody for service. I was very impressed with all aspects of their service department. Beginning with the initial phone call, the customer service representative who wrote the work order, to the work itself, the experience was nothing but positive!

After initial issues, this is what service should be

My first appt with BMW of Peabody was horrible -- I called several times and left several messages/emails to schedule an appt, and nobody ever called back. Finally called a manager who got me right in to their Centennial Drive location. Awesome. Great waiting area, with different working/lounging/TV areas and internet access (which is a bit slow). Fast, Friendly, service --and the techs seemd to really know what they are doing. The labor rates are ridiculous, but I'm not so annoyed with that since they seem to really value your time and get you in and out quickly. That said, they installed new brakes/rotors in my M3 for less than what my local mechanic could do it for. I've had several other appts with them since then and have been in and out (including washing/vacuuming the car) in about 1 hour.
