Certified Pre-Owned? 12M Warranty, Service Bulletin NOT HONORED

onThis dealer lacks any type of customer care after the sale! Be warned. Bought a "Certified Pre- owned" Silverado with 12-month Bumper to Bumper warranty from them on August 30th, 2019 from John Gould. Upon pick up at dealership they noticed radio did not have the latest software version which limits functionality. The dealer offered to update and charge me 2 hours of labor. Wouldn't honor it under "Certified Pre-owned" certification, nor 12 month Bumper to Bumper Warranty. Did not honor Chevrolets own service bulletin 16-NA-042 that states this update would be applied upon delivery if requested.....Service bulletin also states that the update takes .4 hours vice the 2 hours they wanted to upcharge. Never going back, hopefully my local dealership isn't as shady.

Incorrect pricing

onFlat out lied to me over the phone. Vehicle was priced at approximately $30,500, I asked if that was the no BS purchase price, I also explained that I had been mislead by other dealerships earlier this week, and they said yes that is the price. Once I sat down with a sales rep, 5 minutes into the conversation, they tacked on $3,000 due to some lease incentive. [non-permissible content removed], would never recommend them to anyone.

My 2018 Chevy Trax

on"Chevy Trax" Just bought a brand new Chevrolet Trax, love the car switched out of my old Toyota Rav4 and this car drives nice and I love the WiFi... Everyone at Herb Connolly was super nice and friendly especially my salesman Claudio Soares who really made sure I would get a good deal. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Don't waste your time

onShort Story: They had my car for sale for 2+ months and did not have it even remotely ready for inspection. Inconvenienced me with broken promises and several long drives back and forth. Still waiting for the issue to be resolved and to get my car back more than a week after purchase. But here's the thing: They don't really care. They got their sale. They got their ridiculous $500 Doc Fee. I don't feel like they will treat you any differently, so do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership. Full Experience: I did my research and found value in a car at Herb Connolly Chevrolet. That was my first mistake. I was promised by the GM and salesperson that I could drive the car off the lot that day. I only asked because I am more than an hour away from the dealership. So I took the day off and got a ride to the dealership. 3 hours and loads of paper pass. No one is giving me an update, so I get in touch with a guy in the garage to ask how much longer. He seems surprised and calls in my salesman, Ed. Apparently, they knew the car wasn't going to be ready, but it hadn't been passed along to me. So they resolve the issue by renting a car for me through Enterprise. Apparently, they did not have a loaner on their own lot. A couple of days later, they call me in for the car. I have to skip a meeting that afternoon to go in. But it's not ready... Why did they even call me in?? They said they needed me to drive it 100-200 miles to clear the check engine readings. This means I have to drive it 100-200 miles without an inspection sticker. I'm irritated, but I deal with it. The trip to and from the dealership is nearly a hundred miles, so I'll just have my wife take it to work a couple times then drive it back. THEN they call and say they can't do the inspection for another 3-4 days because their "systems were updating". Give me a break... In that time, the check engine light turns on. Shocker. Murphy's Law. I call and let them know. They ask when I can come in, but I'm not skipping any more meetings for them. I finally found the time to make it in yesterday after making arrangements for someone to pick up my kids while my wife is working. They tell me they need to keep my car and give me ANOTHER loaner until mine is fixed. Which means I will have to go to Framingham AGAIN. This time they made a new promise: The car will be inspected and ready the next time I come in. I'm still having my doubts that it will be entirely ready. The loaner I get this time is a Chevrolet Cruze from their lot. It's a piece of junk. Dented, awful handling, and cramped. On top of that, they gave it to me with no gas. If you're going to inconvenience me with the drive back and forth a dozen times, at least pay for the gas. But here's the thing. They don't really care. They got another sale. They got their ridiculous $500 Doc Fee. I don't feel like they will treat you any differently, so do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership.

Great Experience

onOverall great experience. Sale rep (Rod) was so easy going and fair. I exchanged some info before my vist, was there about 90 mins start to finish to buy car. Came back 2 days later to pick it up. No issues. Even finance was pleasant. Rod told me to text him with questions even when he wasn't working. Would definitely buy here again.

onFriendly and helped work out a good deal. Haven't used the service yet but I was told I get some free oil changes and you can get your car washed for free anytime which is great. Hope this is true.

onthis is the first time I didn't experience the silly heggling and the sales person pretending to confer with the manager on best price. Our salesman Paul treated us with respect and was interested in learning what my driving needs instead of trying to shuff extras at me. It was a pleasant experience.

onLou Bover was a great salesman, he was right to the point and honest. He did not play any of the typical car salesman games that i cant stand. Brian English in finance was exceptional as well, he was very informative with his warranty and gap insurance information.

Avoid! They sold me a truck under an active safety recall!

onI was sold a used truck on January 2. By February, the tailpipe and muffler fell off, the left front strut was blown, the rear differential housing was leaking, the power steering rack was leaking. The quote for repairs was $6,045. Then, I learned the truck was under an active frame recall because of a safety issue. In less than two months, I had it in for service 3 times, then it sat on the lot for the next three months while I waited for a new frame. When I finally got it back in June, the used car manager said they would replace the muffler and strut, but refused the remaining $3,400 worth of repairs because the 30 day warranty had passed. The used car manager said he knew nothing about the safety recall or the host of other problems with the truck when he sold it to me. This is either incompetence or negligence. Either way, I'm stuck with a truck I've driven for two out of the last six months that needs thousands of dollars of work. This is how Herb Connolly Chevrolet does business.
