I brought my car in for routine maintenance this morning. In very short order, I had a text, as well as an email, with a video report from the mechanic working on my vehicle, explaining what he was doing, and what additional services needed to be done. I was then given a review of what needed to be done, and what that would cost. I was then given the opportunity to proceed with that repair, or defer it to another time. The additional services were categorized as safety issues that needed immediate attention to systems that were not immediate, but could stand to be done. This was an easy and very quick way for me to understand what repairs were required and to authorize those repairs to be done.

At 20k service , they only did the recommended service. Didn’t check maintenance recall or alert. Not the first time with bad service. Buying a $75k car is nice but they are crappy with services. I don’t like this rep yet I kept getting him. I’ll have to request a different person next time. Heck, I’ll go to another dealership.
