Wow.... I've bought cars at a few local dealerships, but the experience that I had at Koons redefined what I thought a car dealership was. Everyone was courteous and professional. And we were able to find exactly what we were looking for. Koons is now our dealership. I only regret owing too much on my other vehicle, otherwise, I'd trade that in immediately.

I will NEVER EVER be buying or EVER recommend anyone to buy from this dealership! I bought a 2005 Chevy Silverado that looked to be in mint condition but turned out to be horrible. I drove it home from the dealership the day i bought it and first the ABS light came on and my anti lock brakes began locking up. Then 6 days after i bought it i pulled it into the driveway and it was spewing antifreeze all over the place and i had to get it towed which coated me money and it turned out to be a water pump which the dealership only wanted to cover half the payment which was 500 dollars.Then a week after that one of my front ball joints completely sheered off and my whole left wheel was up into the fender and caused lots of damage, again had to be towed and this time all the way back to there dealership where after talking with them they fixed and paid for it. Now a month after i have had the truck its back in the shop and needs over 1,000 dollars worth of work including 2 inner tie rods a steering shaft and a component for the ABS system, which they told me they basically want no part in and will not help me with the costs. When i had bought the truck they claimed that it was Maryland inspected which means it should be safe to drive, however my mechanic who is a Maryland state inspector says that by the looks of this truck it should have NEVER passed Maryland inspection! STAY FAR AWAY from this dealership they're out to take your money. I am still paying my truck payments and multiple mechanic bills for this stupid truck i should have never bought. PLEASE take my experience and go somewhere else!

Dave L really took care of me. He wasn't too pushy, but was incredibly knowledgeable. He offered just the right amount of information, had a great route planned out for my test drive, and even helped me set up insurance, Onstar, and Bluetooth. You've got a great asset in Mr. L. He knows how to sell cars.

My sales person Armando G was extremely knowledgeable on the vehicle I was looking at, and he did everything in his power to work with his Sales Team to get me into the car I really wanted. The Service and Sales Team worked together in harmony to insure that my experience was like none other. I was in the process of buying my first car with the help of my father, and was shopping around to see who I could get the best deal from. I test drove the car and then sat down and within the hour, I had decided to buy from Koons. It's a long process, but our sales assistant Hani was very helpful and kind throughout the process. Told the salesman exactly what I wanted, how much I had to spend. I got what I wanted, no pressure. I was treated with respect. Being a woman truck buyer this is important to me .I felt comfortable with the deal I got when I left the dealership with my new truck. I was shown all the areas of the dealership that would offer me service and met the people working there for future visits.My salesman was friendly but professional.

I wanted to purchase a used, single owner, excellent condition, 4WD SUV with low mileage to haul all of my firefighter and rescue team gear while preserving my 2013 Lexus RX350 F Sport for family use. I did an internet search and found a 2009 Chevy Tahoe LT that appeared to meet my needs located at Koons White Marsh Chevrolet. Unfortunately, I live in central PA and the dealership was 90 miles away from my home. I called the dealership and inquired about the vehicle. The salesman, Gary, was very polite and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle that I was interested in. He directed me to the free copy of the CARFAX that proved that the vehicle had never had an accident and that it had been very well maintained by having all of its service work performed at a Chevy dealership. I was told that the vehicle was in excellent condition and that it was priced below the Kelly Blue Book value. Numerous pictures were also available on the web site and it looked great. Since Gary was so thorough, knowledgeable, and courteous, plus the pictures enticed me, I took a chance and made the long trip to check out the vehicle. Gary agreed to come in early on a day when he was scheduled to start work in the afternoon and he did so without a complaint. I had a good feeling about the vehicle and took my son along with me to drive my Lexus back home if we made the purchase. I was sure glad that I made the trip because the Tahoe exceeded my expectations. The vehicle was everything that was advertised and more. It was beautifully detailed and looked as if it had just rolled out of the new car showroom. Although it was five years old, it truly only had a couple of minor scratches on the rear hatch. The remainder of the exterior and the interior were in excellent condition and I was amazed. I took a test drive and it drove as good as it looked. My decision was an easy one. The salesman never pressured me or tried to sway me and my decision in any way. It was the type of professional transaction that I had hoped for but never really expected. I was on a tight schedule and had to return to PA for an afternoon business engagement and the sale and financing went off without a hitch. I can't say enough about Gary, the experience, and the vehicle that I purchased. Seldom do I find advertising that is accurate and I have never had a salesman that treated me like a good friend. If I decide to make another used vehicle purchase in the future, I know who to call first.

Bought what I thought was a great used car. Car had been lowered by the previous owner-which nobody seemed to notice. Looked great, but had a few noises that were suspicious. When it was in the shop, I was told the suspension system had to be replaced BEFORE they could diagnose the issue. What? All of the springs and struts on a car that was for sale on a dealer lot? An awful lot of work for a diagnosis. Whatever, as long as it got rid of the noise. I was told it would be a factory spec'd car after the replacement parts were installed. So I waited a week, I get the car back and the brake noise is still there and the car looks like it is ready for the Baja 1000. I was told that it would alter the look of the vehicle (a GM specd vehicle). Not only is not back to GM specs, but the car sits so high that I can stick my whole hand vertically in the wheel well with room to spare. It sits 2" higher than GM states on this car. Which may not sound like a lot, but if only you could post pictures here. My mechanic looked at it and couldnt believe that they would return the car looking as it did. He called GM and got them to fax the schematics for the proper vehicle height and he is going to do the work needed. Shame, because the service department seemed very friendly and putting time and effort in trying to fix the problem. So, one noise gone, but the brake noise (which I was told was no longer an issue) is still there. I now have decided to pay out of pocket to take this car-which I now regret buying-to a shop that I trust to fix this mess. I was told the car was inspected by Koons, only to find out later that it was not. The previous owner had it inspected-how it passed with the brake noise and suspension clunking is still a mystery to me and to put it on the lot to sell if it needed that amount of work done to it. Needless to say, wont be going back. The car itself is in otherwise great shape. Should have just kept my old car and waited to go somewhere else. One word of advice, on the test drive, take it to a mechanic you trust to find anything that may be wrong ahead of time. Buying a new car from them may have been a different story, but this has been a real bad experience. They did get a rental car for me after 4 days. Should have read the review above first. Angry-no; extremely disappointed...yes.

They would not let me take the car I was interested in to my mechanic for an unbias opinion. I called my mechanic and his words "this is very uncommon, steer away from that place" So, I did and I am letting people know. They are hiding something if they can't let you take a car to your own mechanic. Thank you. I will keep looking for the right bussiness.
