Heavy Shake

We experienced a heavy shimmy, and needed an assessment fast. The service advisor got us in without a problem. The mechanic was top notch. I spoke with him in depth regarding the issue. I am not a novice, and he did not treat me as one. What he discovered was a correct assessment of where the issue was. It was a problem that definitely required hours of work to correct as the mechanic had predicted. I would definitely recommend Quirk of Portland.

Friendly phone staff as well as front desk staff. I appreciated a ride home one day while my car was being worked on. 2nd trip I was given a rental car, which made life easier to get to work. Repairs on car were completed in two trips but all seems to be fine now.

The work performed on my truck was outstanding, however, I found the cost to be quite excessive. The service Dept. was very accommodating as usual and I was provided with a loaner to take home where my truck was not going to be finished that day.

I'm always impressed with the service department: they almost always charge less than I expect (don't push things that aren't needed), they are speady with repairs/service, and I like the way they give suggestions as to what service might be needed next, and so on. Great job.

I called the 800 number which got me to Bangor and made the appointment. Unfortunately Bangor did not relay the recall I was having which required a part to be ordered. I had called Frank in the service in Portland and explained I was coming in for a recall issue. Luckily he put 1 and 1 together and order the hatch struts needed so when I came in for the scheduled service he was ready for me. I hate scheduling an appointment only to be told the part needs to be order, so lets schedule you another service time. Frank was on it. THanks Frank. Great service catch.

Had a few issues onmy brand new Chevy 3500 and the service department took care of everything. Frank and his team were absolutely great. They were acommodating for both drop off and pick up of the vehicle and made sure the work was covered under the warantee. Overall experience was an A+++
