Came in inquiring about a used Toyota Prius. As usual, they encouraged me to make an appointment and assured me that the car would be pulled up and available when I arrived. Not only was it not pulled up, it was blocked in, and the 12V battery was dead. I said I would like to run a diagnostic on it, the sales person told me she was certain there was no issue with it. I said I was not comfortable having someone in the car with me for the test drive because I had to help take care of elderly relatives and I did not want to take any chances because of covid. Helena (the salesperson) told me that she had to come with me because I was not insured - so far they're the only dealership who had this requirement, and I feel it had more to do with giving her the opportunity to spend time selling the vehicle. Also, the car was close to empty on gas so we had to stop to get gas during the test drive. After getting gas, again the car would not start. Again, Helena assured me nothing was wrong. It was clear I knew more about the Prius than she did. I had only intended to test drive the car and was not going to make a decision that day as I was short on time. However they kept me there by making me believe they would provide some break on the price, but never offered anything more than throwing in remote start. Further to that, they tried to charge me an additional $2000 to "activate the certification" which was absolute BS since the car was already listed and priced as a Toyota Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and insisted this was what all Toyota dealers do. This was a lie. They also came up with many other lies about other dealerships and why their cars were priced low because the cars were bad, or that they weren't actually certified. My feeling was because I said that I could afford to pay cash, that I needed a car soon, and that I had no car to trade in that they thought they could take advantage of me to sell me a car for a higher price that probably had many problems. I'm really glad I called myself a Lyft and got myself out of there when I did. They have a nice and pretty showroom, but that's about it. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.

I found a CPO Prius I wanted to buy here. I felt well researched and prepared when I arrived to negotiate a price for the car and my trade-in. After car price and trade-in was agreed on we started going over all the line items. There was even more tactics I didn't appreciate but the worst was when my salesman, Samy, told me the "Pro Pack" line item that added over $3000 to the price of my car was a necessary fee related to the certification process. In fact, it wasn't. (I stepped away and found evidence online that what he was telling me wasn't true.} So, after some (wasted) time that line item disappeared but not until they appeared to be giving me a 'break' by reducing it a couple times. I should have ended the negotiations then, but I thought I'd continue since I wanted the car and wanted to give them another chance. It turned out though to be a draining, difficult 4 plus hours and in the end I came away without the car. I declined financing because I didn't want to sit there any longer and then they insisted on a cashier's check which was impossible to get since my bank was over 2 hours away. They said I could return with it the next day and took a $500 deposit to "hold the price". After sleeping on it, I decided I couldn't trust them enough to return. My deposit was refunded. To their credit the 3 salesmen I dealt with throughout appeared respectful. But, I was mislead and worse so in the end that didn't count for enough. A follow-up phone conversation with one of the managers was unsatisfactory as well. He was trying to convince me that what I experienced hadn't actually happened. I'm puzzled to see the number of stars they have on this site because they have a much lower rating on dealer rater. The experiences there more closely match my own.

Mr. Nishat has gone the extra mile to give me the best deal .He made every effort to work around my financial budget . From the beginning and to the end of the car purchasing , he made the process easy breezy . Had such a wonderful experience at Northside Toyota. Nishat helped me every step of the way from helping me find the perfect vehicle as well as trading in my 4Runner. Nick made the process of filling out paperwork a breeze and got me in and out very quickly. Toyota has the best cars on the road and the best staff to work with, which is why I come back again and again.

Nick K. was friendly and got straight to the point. As soon as we walked into the dealership, we were greeted with a smile and a hand shake. Since we already had in mind the vehicle we wanted, it was just a matter of narrowing it down to the body style. Once we got that figured out, the processes was painless and quick. We did have to wait for our car to be delivered to the dealership, but it that only took a few days and was worth the wait. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to us. Would recommend this dealership to anyone.
