When I got to JN, I already noticed the full parking lot of inventory they had. When I walked into the showroom, I… was immediately greeted by Lazar with a smile on his face. Had a wonderful experience getting to know and talking stories with Lazar. Wasn't pressured to purchase anything but Lazar mentioned some good points and gave us some valueable advice, also an offer we couldn't refuse, so we pulled the trigger. I'm super excited for my new truck, been wanting it for a long time. Due to an unfortunate event with my previous car, it was the right time to upgrade to a way bigger, better vehicle. 2015 Tahoe - Blatant Ripoff with Accessories
by Jeremiah_G on 06/22/2014[non-permissible content removed]...or at least a highly unethical dealership. I just bought a 2015 Tahoe. My vehicle pricing has $1145 of "Dealer Installed" options. My vehicle does NOT have these options installed. I have tried for 1… week to get these additional items. I have only had partial success. The way I have been treated by the so called "Managers" at JN Chevy following my purchase has left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. They've wasted my time and my wifes time multiple times. The vehicle has been on island since at least 01 May 2014. "David" keeps telling me that my brand new vehicle is so new that they accidentally forgot to install these options. Utter Crap. It is my belief they deliberately add these items to the vehicle price and hope the customer doesn't notice they aren't installed. I only figured it out by accident. The only positive aspect of the experience was my salesman, Myron N. He has been overly helpful in every aspect, but at the end of the day, he is only a salesman with no real power. Out of respect for his efforts and help, I gave JN Chevy a chance to rectify the situation. If you ignore all of this and still buy from JN, at least talk to Myron. Super nice guy After being spoken to as if I were a child earlier today by "David" who is the Internet Sales Manager...well the nicety on my behalf is over. It's been 1 week since I noticed all the missing items. They've been partially given to me, with an open (ie: unknown) date for the remainder. I keep getting told "Monday" or "Tomorrow" for when I'll get my items. JN Chevy has my phone number. You just don't treat someone who just spent $50,000 on a vehicle that way.sales review

by silveradoown on 10/04/2013updated 09/03/2025I recently traded my 2010 Tundra for a 2014 Chevy Silverado. I hoped to gain better gas mileage and so far it isn't that much better. I am hoping that my salesman, Earl, will be correct in stating I should average 19 mpg. I am barely… getting 15 mpg so far. I got 13.5 in my Tundra, so it is better but not by much. I hoped to gain over 30% better. Enough about gas mileage, I have to say that my purchase process when smoothly. Earl was honest and to my liking, he was not pushy. I let him know up front that I had done my homework and that I knew what my truck was worth and also what I should pay for the truck. I had both numbers in my head and to my surprise they ended up beating both of them by almost two thousand dollars. So Earl worked with me to ensure I got the best deal possible and also to ensure I was totally satisfied prior to buying my new truck. I guess I should be grateful to be out of the gas hog and into a new sharp looking Silverado. Again, I would recommend JN Chevrolet/Mazda to anyone, but be selective in who you choice for your sales person. I did not get the same initial vibe when I visited the store. I am glad I didn't let my initial opinion influence going back.new car purchase

The salesman, Mike A., was very helpful, and worked with us to get us exactly what we wanted. We went back a year later to trade in our other car, and ran into a very… high pressure salesman (Mike had since left). We should have walked away, but because of our last experience, we went ahead and traded in our other vehicle and bought a second (used) vehicle from them. About a year later, we decided to trade in that used vehicle and upgrade to a new vehicle. The salesman originally offered to give us $9,000 less for our trade in than what we owed on the car. When I told him I bought the car from them a year ago, he told me some made up story about how the value of used cars fluctuate from month to month, and this might be a bad month. He then said he would be nice and give me another $6,000 for my trade in ($3,000 less than we owed), gave me a low monthly payment, but with a 78 month payment plan. I told him I had never heard of such a long term, and he said it was normal these days. I have to point out that we bought the brand new Suburban with a 0% interest rate, and we had very good credit. I told the salesman that if we bought a car from them today we would be third time customers, we had very good credit, and his offers were borderline insulting. When he saw I was getting frustrated with his outrageous offers, he came back with a reasonable offer of a shorter term and low interest, but it was too late at that point. My wife and I were so upset, we left without buying another car from them, and will never go back there. I think we got lucky during our first visit and ran into a really good salesman, who I'm hoping is working for a more honest dealership now. But during our next two visits we were treated very poorly. I wasn't happy with our second purchase from them, which is why I wanted to trade, but dealt with the crooked salesman because we had such a good first time experience. I would never go back there, or recommend them to anybody. They employ the classic dishonest car salesmen type, and I believe they lost their only decent salesman. Also, they don't seem to care about repeat business.Super relaxed not pushy

Took care of us from the start. I would recommend this to everyone especially military the take care of you thank you James.Purchasing a new truck

Salesman, Earl H. showed us the truck and we knew right away that the search was finally over, this was the… truck we'd been looking for! But, then came the fun part... financials... we sat down to figure out "the numbers" and they just didn't work for us, so sadly, we left the dealership and returned home to resume our online search. The next day we received a call from Earl saying that he might have something that we'd like and asked if we could come in. We made the trek all the way from the North Shore, for the 2nd time in 2 days, hoping this time we'd be heading home in our new-used Silverado. Yet again, we left the dealership without the used truck of our dreams... that's because we left there in the NEW TRUCK OF OUR DREAMS! Earl got us into a new 2014 Chevy Silverado for a monthly payment that we can afford. He is a wonderful salesman that treats his customers like he would family! We were warmly welcomed by James B.-who was considerate to ask if we were there to see anyone in particular. From that… moment, he was with us every step of the way. From car interest, test drives and comparisons. He made thinking about purchasing/trading my car a possibility rather than just an idea. James, Jeff, Mike and the Gentleman who helped us with finance was very friendly and helpful in getting a great deal for our new 2014 Mazda CX5. I highly recommend this team of individuals. On top of our great experience, we were invited to enjoy lunch there. We are looking forward to enjoying the extra benefits that JN Mazda promises.mazda cx5

Second visit was to buy and it took 5 hours from test drive to closing the deal. During the negotiations another sales person… came on and was a middle man. Do your homework with invoice cost and MSRP and value of your trade in. In the end we came to a reasonable deal and I am happy with the car. Also free oil change for life (although you and I both know nothing is really "free").
