Way more expensive and will try to rip you off

onWhat a terrible example of a car dealership. I always go online and get pricing before I buy a car but this was my girlfriends purchase and she did not know what car she wanted before we got there. The salesperson did a good job helping her find the car that was right for her but when it got to pricing they tried charging us $1200 over sticker price because of a $25 pin stripe they installed. On the lot I explained that we didn't want to pay that crazy price and the salesperson explained to us that he would take care of it. I actually feel bad for the salesperson because I don't get the feeling it was his fault. Of course when we sit down and as for a good deal he comes back with the full $1200 over sticker price we explained we didn't want to pay. When we went to leave of course the manager had to talk with us before we could get the keys to our own vehicle. Iike I want to talk to the guy who just tried ripping me off on a car purchase. My sister bought a car from this dealership and got a great price and a fair trade in but she went online first. I guess they give good deals online and try to rip off the people that don't pre negotiate their deal. We went to faccillo and payed $4000 less and we are going to go on a cruise together for free. Pretty cool to save 4K and get a cruise.

onGood day to all Venice Florida. My name is Michael Rose United States Federal Fiduciary. In case you do not know, I work for the veterans association. USMC. I protect the elderly, and watch their finances. I wanted to share this story so that my fellow vets do not be taken advantage of. After all, It is my job to protect them, and their money. That being said, I walked into Kia to purchase a car, and was greeted by a man named Ralph Ramirez. I was trading a 2007 SHELBY GT500. I thought that the car was a little too small on the inside to transport people. In addition, the power was way too much. Ralph was the nastiest person I have come across. There was a point when he was flirting with a rep, and told my new sales person to beat It he was busy. Moreover, He advised that my car was only worth 18k with 30k miles on it. I was shaking because I just spent 28k on it. So, I drove it to the next dealer that I was personally familiar with, and received $28,000 to trade it. Please Venice people be careful when you deal with people like this. I handle many elderly financial accounts so that we as citizens are not taken advantage of. Yours most sincerely, Michael Rose USMC Federal Fiduciary

An utter disregard for basic ethics and morality!

onThese people lie, lie and lie some more! We drove 85 miles to buy a car after extensive and very clear telephone conversations and examining the stock on their website. Fortunately, I brought my notes because when we arrived. Lane, the internet sales guy flat out lied about the pricing and other important details. Car was listed as leather upholstery - NOT! The price he specifically told me on the phone turned out to have about $2,000 in extras that were denied over the telephone. When I pulled out my notes and confronted him with exactly what he had said 3 hours earlier, he just looked at me, grinned and said nothing. Then he tried to convince me that the banks charge the dealership $1-$2K for financing. When I called bull on this, he affirmed it several times. Then we were shuffled to the finance guy who carefully avoided the $1-$2K bull, but proceeded to give ever more run-around. They hadn't submitted my financing even though we agreed earlier in the day that they would have it all done before we left to drive up there. All-in-all, a disgusting display of dishonesty. We've been car-shopping for a month now and have very low expectations! But these guys are the worst! They epitomize what's wrong with corporate America - an utter disregard for basic ethics and morality!

Actually had a PLEASANT experience buying a car!

onThis was not my first experience buying a vehicle, but it was undeniably the best. No pressure to "sign tonight," no haggling on price. They were up front and quick to respond to all questions. They even got me great financing... far better than I expected without great credit. My sales person was Sue. She was very laid back... no pressure at all. I worked with both the business manager and the finance manager to get my deal. Both Steve and John helped with me with financing. My final payment was actually lower than they estimated! I just can't say enough great things about these guys and I LOVE my new Kia Soul! I was very pleasantly surprised by this buying experience and when I'm ready to trade this one in, I'll definitely go back.
